Disappointed

I love this author and have all her books. I've read several of them over and over. This book fell flat for me. She did an amazing job researching the women warriors and the situation in Syria, but the romance was a dud. This book read more like an educational text on the Syrian war, and less like a romance. Lots of detailed descriptions on Syria, YPJ, the war and even the food, with a little bit sex thrown in. I didn't feel any real connection between the H and h except for hot sex. This isn't what I look for in a romance. I ended up skimming just to finish the book after 2 days trying to get thru it. Hope her next book has more romance and less of a textbook feel to it.

Having heard of Titan in One of the previous SEALs books it was great to get to know how they operate and start a new series. We’d met Brooke and Frisco so that gave us an insight into some familiar characters but also opened up a world of new Alphas and their women. This book was inspirational in many ways. I’d not heard much of how the women who fight against ISIS worked. It was a whole learning curve for me. So,glad I got to read this book, not just from an entertaining point of view but also it opened my eyes to what goes on in different parts of the world, good and bad. Fabulous book. Highly recommend this book. Love this authors work too.

Not her best

Ms. Hart did an amazing job of researching the story of the women warriors in Syria. That part of Tumult is outstanding. However, the story between the H and the h is not so great. The "love"part of the story was staid, poorly developed and written.
I hate to leave a less than stellar rating since I was granted an ARC, but I think that also requires me to be honest. This book has potential, but it has not reached its potential yet. It needs some very heavy editing and some serious re-writes.
But this is just one book. All of Ms. Hart's other books are wonderful. Read one of those.

So sad

I usually love Lea Hart books, but this one didn't do it for me. To much technical talk and not enough love n action for me. Hopefully the next one hits the mark

A Great First Book in a New Lea Hart Series!

Lea Hart does it again! I already love her SAI Series and now I’m already addicted to her Titan Series! The Titan Series features men from Titan, a security group of Private Military Contractors that are all hot, alpha males and they meet their match with strong leading ladies. Tumult is the story of Audrey & Carrick.

Audrey is a lawyer who is also becoming an author on politically charged topics. Her current topic is the YPJ or women warriors fighting alongside the YPG or men’s fighting forces in Syria against ISIS. She wants to take a risky trip to Syria to meet some women of the YPJ to interview them. Her publisher is requiring personal security accompany her. Carrick is the Titan PMC and a retired SEAL who is assigned to her case. Things get hot and steamy before they even leave for Syria.

This is a great read if you want a romance that builds from strong sexual attraction and an education on Syria. Lea does a great job of educating us about a group of people I didn’t even know existed while intertwining Audrey & Carrick into the fray! I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next one in the series.

I have sat and tried to think about what I wanted to say about Tumult. I have read and loved Lea Hart's books in the past and I was excited to go in a different direction with this Titan group. Carrick and Audrey are both strong leads and the research that went into the book for the storyline must have been a lot because it had strong details. I just felt like there was a little missing to this story. I liked that Carrick didn't completely jump in head over heals right from the beginning. He didn't know if he wanted a relationship. Audrey and Carrick both struggled with their feelings and where a relationship could take them. I just felt like there was really no climax to the story and it just felt a little flat. I will continue to read Ms. Hart's books though because I really do enjoy them.

Book 1 in the new Titan Series is pure Lea Hart. Intriguing premise for the storyline that I don’t think has been done before. Another five star page turning, suspenseful read.

Audrey is a lawyer and doesn’t want to go back to that full time; so she submits a proposal to a publisher to write about the women of the Kurdistan Resistance. She wants to travel to Syria to interview them firsthand and the publisher is insisting on a trained escort.

Carrick has been stateside for two weeks and is anxious for his next assignment. He just never expected the assignment to be taking a female writer to a country in the middle of a civil war.

Great read and love story that will take you on a great journey.

This is the first book Tumult in the Titan Series By Lea Hart and as usual it didn’t disappoint at all. We follow Audrey Barnes as she goes to Syria so she can talk to the ladies fighting IsIs but there is a condition she must have a security specialist to keep her safe, so she goes to Titan a private military company and meets Carrick Young a retired Seal who will be going with her. Aubrey and Carrick are both strong willed people so can they work together to stay safe or will it be one long fight. This is a very brilliant book with strong women, Alpha men, and plenty of adventure Lea Hart never fails to give us everything we need in a book her work is absolutely superb. I can’t wait for more in this series.

I loved Carrie and Audrey from the first moment, Lea you did so much about this book the marvelous research of facts and news the piece of cake that is the pointed and well explained situation about the Kurdish, it’s something you don’t normally find even in some specific newspapers, and the story is so well described so wired and intense I have to say it it took me some reading times before finally give up. It’s an example a good writer can write about everything and make a romance book even an historical guide. Thanks for the kindness you took to describe the YPJ forces...

Book 1 of new series

Audrey is a lawyer turned author who needs protection to write her book about female soldiers in the middle East. She goes to get help with protection at TSS and assigned to ex seal for help and Carrick is her guy. A great new series that is a spin off from her other military series . Enjoyed the book background and hot romance. Looking forward to next book.

*2.5 stars*

It pains me to give this rating for this book but it just missed the mark for me. I love this authors work normally and have read pretty much everything else that she has written. Big fan of her other series. This book clearly had LOTS of research and time put into it but I just hesitate to call it a romance as that side of the story took a big backseat to all the rest. The writing was well done, as always. Interesting but super light on the romance and not for me.

Book 1 in the new Titan series is another great military romance by Lea Hart. It includes her trademark smart, independent heroine and sexy Alpha male. Instant love combined with action packed plot. Well written characters. I always enjoy and learn so much about the military when I read her books. Loved this new release.

Romance mainly

This book is mainly a romance between two smart, strong, passionate people with some war scenes in Syria taken from the headlines for part of it. I enjoyed the characters.

Tamult

Another great book from Lea Hart. Tumult is the 1st book in the Titan Series. Carrick is a retired seal working in the private sector for Titan who is set about the task of protecting Audrey. Audrey is a lawyer turned author, writing about women battling against ISIS. This book takes you on their journey through hostile territory as Audrey interviews these warrior women. Will these two make it home safe? If your looking for action, adventure, and romance you have found a new favorite. Lea Hart never fails to give us what we need. Her writing is superb!

Dear author: Your persistent need to bash democrats throughout your books pisses me off. There's never any context to it-- it just comes out of left field. How about writing better stories to offset your political beliefs. The plot is the same in every book- a feisty, independent female that is initially too weary to recognize that the guy she is shtupping is not a bad catch. The man is always overly patriotic [no problem or moral dilemma about killing the perceived enemy or civilians] but ignorant to the American hypocrisy of war like the fact that it was a republican president, George W Bush, and his cabinet that outright lied to the American people and congress that Iraq was an axis of evil. Seriously, what does that make Americans since we have the most nuclear weapons of all countries and is the only country to ever drop a nuclear bomb twice on Japan. The top 1% of wealthy Americans profit as a result of war b/c they own the companies, facilities, or contractors that manufacture the weapons, bombs, bullets, and gear that the US military wears. Wake the hell up America-- our sh!t ain't all that sweet and is in fact the nastiest smelling of them all. I am a US Army veteran that served during the 1st Gulf War from 1988-1992.

I no longer watch football d/t the hypocrisy of the team owners and pres. Trump- I would gladly take a knee to support the effort to stop the murdering of unarmed AA males and women by our militarized police force. I also agree that blacks need to stop killing each other 1st w/senseless gang violence.
