Too tired to hop.
No zip, no zap . . .
What time is it?
TIME FOR A NAP!

The perfect board book for tired toddlers.

This charming and cozy entry in the Snuggle Time series is now in board format! Every day’s a busy day, with places to go, people to see, and things to do. But sometimes all that activity leaves a toddler tired and cranky. What time is it then? NAP TIME! With plenty of humor and fun, Phillis Gershator and David Walker capture a child’s resistance to some much-needed sleep—and the Illustrations show little bunny throughout the days of the week, adding a concept lesson to the great message about the necessity of rest.

Unsurprisingly, Jack did not seem very enthusiastic about a book about napping. But he did seem to think the bunnies were cute.

I really like this book, because it shows a lot of daily activities that parents and kids do together. And it also shows that when you get grumpy or tired, it’s time for a nap. But the ending reminds kids that after nap time comes more fun and playing. And the illustrations are adorable.

We borrowed this book from the Ashland public library.

I read this to my granddaughters. It was so cute. The rhymes were upbeat. The part where it says “bump a rump” where the bunny slid down the slide and landed on his butt made Jessie laugh so hard. Lol!

A cute quick read to include in the nap routine to signal it’s time to sleep

The rhymes and illustrations in this book make it a good read for children and their caregivers (especially if the children are not always the best nap takers). It highlights many of the activities that a stay-at-home mom might do in a middle to upper-class neighborhood and lifestyle.
