In this Pinkalicious installment, Pinkville is pounded by a huge snow storm that dumps at least six feet of snow (I surmised this from the fact that the snow blocks the front door and reaches the second story window). Instead of getting down in the dumps, the residents of Pinkville industriously build a massive sled run that runs through the entire town. I am in awe of their cheeriness and fortitude in the face of disaster. That being said, this is mainly a story about overcoming one's fears. Peter is scared of going down the sled run (understandably, it's steep, very long, and I assume it would be difficult to get medical aid in); Pinkalicious helps her brother overcome these fears by telling two terrible jokes. My main takeaways is that Peter is way too easily entertained. Certainly this tactic would not work for the majority of people. 2.5.

Nice short read, my daughter enjoyed listening to me read it before bed. It was a good story about Pinkilicious helping her brother Peter get over his fear and getting to enjoy the sled ride together.
