Mackenzie This book is about a middle school girl, Nikki. She have been gotten bullied by Mackenzie because they both have a crush on Brandon, but Brandon like Nikki. They have been enemies with each other for a long time because of Mackenzie's jealousy to Nikki. This can also help us learn how to handle with bullies. I have been reading this book since 4th grade and I thought I might be ready for middle school.

I honestly love all of these books, they are what I love to read for fun. I mostly read them for independent reading, I don't do projects with them but I do read them. It's about a girl Nikki Maxwell going to her new school and getting through some crazy drama. Mean girl? Crush? This is all new to Nikki and she is getting through it with her BFFs Chloe and Zoey.

These books pretty much dictated the entirety of my being all throughout middle school (mostly 6th & 7th grade). Not only did it fill me with indescribable joy, but it was also responsible for other stuff. Like my “dear diary” phase, which I never want to go back to (i still love it tho).
Once I’d buy one of the books in the series I’d reread it until I bought the one after. That’s how obsessed middle school me was when it came to dork diaries.

Although it’s cliche, but I actually related to Nikki- i had a Mackenzie & Brandon of my own lol.

Dork Dairies is an enjoyable series about a girl named Nikki Maxwell and her middle school drama. From dealing with bullies to handling crushes and balancing family, this book covered it all. I really liked this book because it helped me learn about different ways of standing up to bullies and how to make good friends through school. Rachel Renee Russell is a hilarious author who jokes a lot but gives good lessons in this story. I recommend this book for pastime as it is quite a light read, but all the same, teach lessons through the voice of a 14-year-old girl.
