Grabbed this on a whim at the college library because the title charmed me; bought it after reading the first few stories and never actually read it through until now. Way ahead of its time with its characters but dated in other ways--overall a real delight.
Best title ever. Short stories that were mostly sort of meh. Somehow the writing seemed sort of self-indulgent. Plot meandered and left me wanting more clarity. A few of the stories did stand out as good clear writing. Worth giving it a look, even if it's just because of the awesome title.
