About the author

Jenny Dale

192 books43 followers
Prolific author of animals stories for younger children, in particular dog and cat stories. As well as a Puppy Tales and Kitten Tales series she has written the Pony Tales series of pony books.

There is some speculation that the author does not actually exist but is a psuedonym for another author or authors. One author mentioned as writing under the name of Jenny Dale is Liss Norton, who incidentally is also said to be one of the ghostwriters for the Lucy Daniels Animal Ark series.

It was good, only complaint is that we didnt find out what the dog thiefs punishment is. It was awesome seeing neil and emily at new york alone on vacation staying with their old neighbors. And all the doggie aspects in it

I liked this book because it had a lot of facts about New York. I guess you could say it's a mystery but I refer to it as a New York adventure more. I feel sorry for the dog because he doesn't really have anyone he can trust fully except for his real owners, which is what the kids are trying to figure out.
