This past Christmas, we bought several Nativity books... When I say "several", I use that loosely. Here in India, used books from the usa and uk are flooding in and going into hands via book clubs where we can purchase them at a pretty low cost. Being a Christian foreigner in a predominantly Hindu country, everyone "saved this one just for us", and we invested in at least 12 Nativity books. My dad sent my daughter the "Busy Nativity", which we loved first... Then most of the others were only "ok" from my Bible student self. This one came after Christmas, but we left out the Nativity set to use while we read this one, because it's a very lovely and I feel accurate picture of the story and how it is classically told. My daughter was amazed with all of the flaps, and we read it a few times the first day it came! I think this one will be our favourite, come next Christmas!

Simply disgusting white wash of a rape story. And white wash that is: most characters are white with an oriental backdrop.
