In this propulsive Thriller Short, bestselling author Mariah Stewart spins a tale of justice and revenge about a young woman who does what people only think about doing in their darkest moments. A night of drinking turns to tragedy when Deanna Bradley drives her intoxicated coworker, Jessie, home and into the clutches of a marauding gang. Witnessing the attack from her car, Deanna is frozen with fear. And when she does react, it’s with the greatest cowardice imaginable. She hits the gas and drives away. Consumed by guilt and shame, she embarks on a mission of revenge to bring down the men who traumatized Jessie. It’s an errand of violence and death that leads to a shocking conclusion—an ending no one saw coming.

2.5 stars. Decent short story. A girl witnesses her friend get raped by 6 men. She does nothing and take off. She feels so bad she ends up killing each man 1 by 1. She would visit her friend and tell her but she was completely catatonic. When she kills all 6 she brings gun and wants her friend to shot her. She ends up shooting herself. She might have gotten away with most but she wrote her parents a confession letter and her dad turned her in.

Nothing like vigilante justice Deanna witnessed her friend get assaulted and raped by six guys and set out to make things right, especially after she ran and left her friend Jessie behind to be sexually assault and left traumatized. Once she had all the guys shot dead she went to let her friend get revenge on her for running away, but instead the girl shot herself and left Deanna to take the fall. Justice Served
Deanna escaped from a bad mess leaving her friend behind.Jesse is badly hurt. Deanna tries to set it all right and then goes to Jesse and tells her what she has done. The ending was a real shock to me.
