Falling in love with a murder suspect? Thrilling. It's not easy being a shifter without a clan. But finally, Jasmine Rowland has a job at least. Well, being a nanny is not what she had dreamed of, but it pays the bills. Also, there are worse places to be than around that handsome Doctor Alava with his tight clothes, showing every vein and muscle of his body. But something is definitely wrong with him. What is he hiding?
Dr. Eneko Alava’s love left a long time ago. There is not such a thing as a mate for him anymore. All focus is on his beloved children and his practice, a medical clinic for shifters set up in the heart of bear shifter territory. But wait, why then is his inner animal panting for his nanny now? That isn’t supposed to happen.
And suddenly… Murder. One suspect. No place to hide.
With the law against them and time running out, can Eneko and Jasmine find love? Or does fate have other plans for them?
AUTHOR´S NOTE: This is a 31,000-word stand-alone paranormal romance story with HEA, so no cliff-hangers! This story includes alpha male, single daddy, doctor and bear shifter elements. Story contains mature themes and language, and is intended for 18+ readers only.
Jasmine Wylder is a renown paranormal romance writer who is proud to have published dozens books ever since she came out with her debut novel in 2016.
This former mechanical engineer loves finding inspiration in her day-to-day life while walking her dogs in the moonlight, exploring the countryside she lives in, as well as travelling and discovering new foods and cultures. She’s always found comfort in fantasy: dreaming about vampires, shifters, and dragons (her favorite).
Her love for books comes second only to her love for her two sons and amazing husband, whom she enjoys spending time with when she’s not busy crafting beautiful worlds and universes for her readers to dive into.
I liked Jasmine in the last book and how protective she is of her charges. Eneko seemed like a really good guy, wanting to protect the shifters in his town and wanting to protect his family. So when things start going really bad he has to rely on Jasmine to protect his children.
But for some reason, I just could not get into this story. I have no idea what it was and I really did try to give it a go. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Jasmine is searching for a job, and this position as a nanny just seems like it landed in her lap. She is familiar with the Doctor, she assisted him with saving her former employee's mate. She is soon caught up in such a whirlwind of events, not to mention her attraction to Eneko that everything changes in a heart beat. Not wanting to let the bad things that have been taking place happen anymore without a fight, she steps in.
Dr. Eneko Alava is being dealt some very difficult times. His mate, or at least the woman he was married to and had his two children with, has left not only him but the children. Topping that off the town is aware that he is a shifter and this is not welcome, and due to his being a shifter he is the target of crowds, chanting and something much worse. In for the fight of his life, she appears and things seem to feel good for him.
From the beginning there is a spark between these two, one that at the beginning they both try to fight, but fate always has a way of stepping in and putting things in the order and place fate wants, there will be no denying this attraction for long. Just as soon as having Jasmine watching his children, his place of work is being interrupted by anti-shifter protests and now a murder. The conviction falls on Eneko, and he didn't do it. However, because the victim is a former employee and a leader of these protests he is the only suspect. Now he is without a job, and he has to ask Jasmine not to be the nanny for his kids right now. This is not going over well with fate's plans. Once the situation is explained to Jasmine, the spark planted takes over and these two act upon their emotions and the chemistry. Things seem to settle briefly and then a bigger change happens.
There is council called in, lies being told, Jasmine and her sister defending Eneko, and at a high price. A piece of joy happens during this bleak time, a baby is born, and that baby holds a secret, a secret that Jasmine knows how it happened and pieces it together. Truth is revealed and justice is being served, however all that while there is a burning desire for Jasmine and Eneko that is not to be doused, no matter how other are trying. The way these two finally allow their true feelings to be revealed is sweet and carnal and everything in between and it all happens in between every bend in the road they go through.
Whoever said that Fate doesn't know what she is doing has never had to deal with this much stacked against them and still come out the winner in love and a very happy ever after.
Once again, Jasmine’s younger sister, Lori, was passed out drunk on her couch. She had called Jasmine well past midnight to come rescue her at a club, but never told her which one. So she spent two hours tracking her down and bringing her home. Yet if she yelled at her for her reckless behavior, she might not call next time and Jasmine would worry. Now Jasmine faced the first day of her new job, with no time to properly get ready! So she grabbed her keys and ran out.
Dr. Eneko Alava was a local doctor who treated shifters. He needed a nanny for his two children, 5 and 8 years old, and Jasmine was recommended. As she was discussing the children’s schedule with the doctor, a woman burst in to scream about his request for a grant to fund his clinic. She was angry that shifters, who heal so quickly, would steal resources from humans! As she ranted, Jazz took the children into the bathroom and ran water to drown out the hateful words.
The next day, Dr. Alava drove to the clinic and found a group of protestors. They had tried to keep a pregnant woman from going into the office, and when one of the men roughly grabbed her arm, the doctor pulled him away and he fell. A woman who had worked for the doctor before she knew he was a shifter came after him with her protest sign. Someone had made a video of the altercation and gave it to the news to make everyone angry without them knowing the real truth of the incident.
When the protesting woman is found murdered, everyone assumes it was Dr. Alava who killed her because of their conflict. Now Jasmine has to step in and try to provide he did not do it! Could she clear his name, especially when the police have no interest in investigating the truth? Who was the real murderer, and was she in danger from that person?
This book had a good story line to follow, but it did tend to get “preachy” about prejudice and totally wrong treatment of others. The mystery was a good touch, and the reader can continue to hope for a HEA for Jazz and the doctor. I did enjoy reading this.
Wow! This book is full of excitement of all kinds. With all of the disention between the humans and the shifters, the biased police and politicians, it doesn’t appear that shifters are too safe in the world. When a former employee, who has been leading the human protests against his clinic, shows up at the clinic doors after hours, beaten and barely alive, dies because the EMT’s, expecting a shifter in need from the 911 call instead of a human, take their sweet time getting there, the “fun” begins. Charged with her murder, Eneko finds himself in a place he hopes to never see again. Jasmine has lived trying to supress her “other half”, most of her life, but when she looses her employment because she’s a shifter, her choices are limited. But becoming the nanny for Dr. Alava’s two children may end up being more than she can handle, or not! Once this pair finally start to listen to their inner animals, and accept that they are mates, either will go to great lengths to not only support the other, but to protect them also. Packed full of suspense, action and love, this is definitely one you won’t want to miss. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.
This is a great story! It stirs up the emotions, some good, some bad :) but that is what makes this a realistic story despite the paranormal elements. I'm sure the author was well aware that this plot is a very sensitive one but that doesn't make this a bad story, it's makes it relate-able. Dr. Eneko is a really good guy and it is doing his best to be helpful to the shifters who can't find trustworthy medical help anywhere else, his good heart is tested to the max. Jasmine & Eneko are loners not looking for love or a mate for different reasons, I felt sorry for both of them because they didn't think true love exist. As the relationship slowly buds, the harassment intensifies, hatred escalates, I really wish they would have had more support from those that are supposed to serve and protect everyone and I really wish their punishment for encouraging hate crime had been more severe. The murder mystery was a shocking twist, in the midst all of the drama....love conquers.

3.75 Stars Although this book is book three in the fated bears series, it is the first book that I have read of this series. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. That being said, I did find parts of this story slightly long winded. I liked Jasmine. She is a strong independent woman but she had a softer side. She had her own insecurities. I liked Alava. I liked that despite the protest’s he remained strong and still carried on with his clinic. He went on to try and help Jana even after all she had done. I hated all of the so-called ‘’humans’’. I hated how the shifters were treated. I did see some chemistry between Jasmine and Alava. But because of all of what was going on, I didn’t feel a spark between them. That being said, I liked them as a couple. I liked that Jasmine never gave up. She was determined to prove Alava’s innocence. I also liked that Lori stepped up to be by her sisters’ side. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an action packed read.
This is Eneko and Jasmine's story . It starts off with Jasmine's sister Lori having called her to come get her since she is drunk . Now from the first I wondered about this one but man am I so glad I kept reading !! In this story you will read about some of the hardships that the shifters come across since they have came out in the open to the public /humans . Eneko is a doctor that is working by himself in the clinic . Jasmine meets Eneko and his children for the first time and within minutes the drama and the story takes off !! Jasmine is to watch Eneko's children and she starts within minutes to protect them . This is just the start of the trouble that is centered around the doc and his clinic . Now this story is not really hot and steamy but yes it does have a few love scenes . It is more about what is going on and standing by each other . Now this does not in anyway take away from this book it just makes the love you are reading about stronger . This is well written and I recommend it to all !!
👍🐻💜🐆Why can't they see that Eneko wouldn't hurt a fly?! December 20, 2017 Format: Paperback A great storyline and a sweet second chance at romance for devoted father and shifter doctor Eneko Alava. I was emotionally caught up in this one, largely due to the constant badgering and prejudice Eneko faced. Even his otherwise fairly mild mannered nanny and love interest Jasmine could not match his patience and calm.
There is a murder and quite a twist in the outcome which I did not see coming and I liked. And I loved the development of the character Lori, Jasmine's human half-sister. Feisty yes, but also ready to be supportive. Plus, young kids always seem to make a story better and Eneko has two, though they could have appeared more often! Not a full five star read, but pretty close.:-) 👍
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Rating: 2.5 stars
I felt like this book was more about the prejudice against the shifters (especially by the police) than really about the romance. So much of the book was dependent of Jasmine (with the help of her half-sister) trying to prove that Eneko didn't kill a woman, because the police can't be trusted to do a proper investigation when a shifter is a suspect. The whole book felt a bit heavy handed on the topic.
Loved the story of Jasmine and Eneko. Jasmine had a hard life living in foster care most of her life, that she always tried to hide her shifter ability. She had a half sister Lori, stayed with their mother, but was abused by her. They found each other and try to accept the way their life was different from each other. So many misunderstandings. Jasmine goes to work for Eneko who is a doctor and a bear shifter. She has a hard time while being his nanny to understand what these feelings are that she is having. Eneko is having trouble with humans accepting him as a doctor at a clinic. So much starts to happen and he is accused of murder. Everyone that knows him knows he could not hurt anyone. What will happen to him? What will happen to his 2 children? Can Jasmine and Eneko figure out their feelings for each other? I received a arc copy for my honest review.
First let me state that I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. I always leave an honest review.
Wow!!! I really enjoyed this story very much. I have read many books by Jasmine Wylder & really enjoyed all of them. This story was a quick read for me because it flowed so smoothly. I read this story in one day because I got so wrapped up in everything that was going on. Jasmine, (it's so cool she used her own name), is the lead female and she's a strong woman. She has a crazy sister, Lori, which I will be seeing in a future story. I laughed, I cried, & I was anxious thru this story. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
Dr. Eneko Alava is a shifter with two children daughter Maite and son Luken. He is a shifter doctor and works at a clinic. He needs someone to take care of his kids. Jasmine is a nanny and needs a job. She starts to work for Dr. Alava. The Humans don't like the clinic taking government money and started protesting at the clinic. This story has so many twist and turns and is hard to put down. I never would of guess how the book ended. This is just an all around great story. I received an ARC and have voluntarily left a review.
Jasmine grew up hiding what she was. Dr. Eneko Alava is a bear shifter who just wants to help others. What happens when society is determined to blame Eneko for a crime he didn't commit? Will Jasmine finally learn that being a shifter isn't something to fear?
LOVED these two. I really did think that Eneko proved that he was a great father and a great potential mate in how determined he was to help and protect those around him. I loved how Jasmine evolved from someone who wanted to deny her animal to someone determined to be proud of it. Great story!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book What do you get mixing a sexy Doctor, a woman in need of a job badly, a dead ex employee.....Total Murder, Mayhem and Chaos plus a little romance. Such a lovely twist to any story. When shifter Doctor Eneko Alava hires nanny Jasmine Rowland, little does he realise how they will come to depend on each other . Especially when an ex employee is murdered. A brilliant kind of whodunnit in the shifter world plus watching a loving friendship turn to love amid all the madness. Loved it.
This story is way more in depth than two shifters being fated and mated. That was secondary to the most important theme of the storyline. Being a black woman, I've had my share of racism, sexism, bigotry and ignorance. This story has very deep subjects and the ending really touched me. Eneko said it best: "The road forward wasn't going to be all smooth sailing. They were going to have to learn how to handle differences in opinion and overcome obstacles. The whole issue with the anti-shifter groups was far from over. But they were making progress. For now, that was enough."
I enjoyed this story about bear shifter Dr. Eneko Alava, his two children and his nanny Jasmine. Jasmine started working for Eneko and she immediately had some naughty thoughts about the hot and muscled doctor. Then some serious allegations were made against the doctor due to his shifter status. Their attraction to each other grew to love while they were dealing with discrimination within the community to include police officers. Finally Eneko was cleared of all charges and their love blossomed. They got their happily ever after as a family.
This is the 3rd book in this series. They have all been great...The characters we've met before in the other books. (most of them) In this story they are still having trouble with anti shifters, the nasty people that don't understand shifters so they "hate" them. Dr. Eneko Alava the Dr at the clinic is having trouble with the anti shifters..he hires Jasmine the cat shifter as the Nanny for his two kids. It gets really good fast! Love it..definitely a good read.
This was book three in the Fated Bears Series. Jasmine is a shifter without a clan who finally gets a job as a nanny for Doctor Eneko. He is only interested in his practice and his children and is not interested in a mate. His practice is a clinic for shifters. He finds himself attracted to her and things start to sizzle until a murder happens. Lots of drama and suspense but eventually an HEA. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Jasmine and Eneko had a mutual attraction to each other but had both been too badly burned to be able to trust they were mates in the beginning. I know Jasmine was thrilled at how Lori was finally growing up and being less self-absorbed. Sadie's parents were so sweet and understanding about Jasmine. I loved how accepting Maite and Luken were of Jasmine becoming their momma.
'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.'
I liked the story. It starts you off at a fast pace as things start happening to the good shifter doctor Eneko. He hires Jasmine to be a nanny for his two kids. All heck breaks lose as a murdered suspect hangs over their heads. I was off on who done it. Very good read thought the two had great chemistry. Hope to read more of your books. LOVED IT. Got for an honest review. Thank you for sharing your book with us.
The Bear Shifters Nanny isThe third book in the Fated Bears series by Jasmine Wylder and another fantastic and well written book. A single dad bear shifter Doctor finds his true mate in his children's nanny. Once he sees the jaguar shifter he can't get her out of his dirty thoughts. All the bear wants us to make the kitten his. This shifter romance is filled with action and suspense. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
Eneko is struggling with trying to keep his clinic open and taking care of his two children. Jasmine is trying to stay afloat after loosing most of her clients after they find out she is a shiftier. Eneko is charged with murder of his former employee and leader of the shiftier hate group. Jasmine steps in and gives him the support he needs to pull through. Their relationship is tested and they come through with love leading the way. I voluntarily read this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book is exceptionnel. It has scorching descriptions and well-developed ideas. The storyline pulled me in right from the beginning and kept me hooked all the way through to the end. The author really knows how to write a great lovestory. If you like paranormal romances and you have not read any stories by Jasmine Wylder you have something to look forward to. I highly recomend this book. It`s a standalone book with no cliffhangers. I voluntairly reviewed an ARC of this book.
The Bear Shifter's Nanny is the third book in the Fated Bears series. This can be read as a standalone. But to fully understand the story you should read the previous books. There is violence and steamy sex so definitely 18+.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. This story deals with the prejudices that humans have against Shifters. Be warned that this story could make you upset about the unfairness of it.
This is one of those "couldn't put it down" type books. This isn't one great story, it's several books that just keep getting better. Really good story lines, likeable characters, sweet romance and in some of the books sweet heat. This was a great read, I'm sorry to see the last page, but you can guarantee this won't be my last Jasmine Wylder!
I got this book as an ARC in exchange for a voluntary review. Jasmine starts working for Dr. Eneko Alava , a physician, taking care of his two children as a nanny. When a woman is killed at his clinic, Dr. Alava is arrested for murder. Shifter's are second class citizens and it looks bad for Eneko. Will he and Jasmine find love ? Will he go to prison ?
Love, love, loved Eneko and Jasmine’s story !! It had higg’s, low’s, who dun it’s ? And we got hot shifter sex done right and a happily ever after for both Eneko’s kids and their Nanny Jasmine. 5⭐️‘s for a well written story with horrid human beings who try to frame the doctor for murder and his Nanny who clears his name !!
