It's the same rating I give all these books. There just a MEH. I don't like them, but there not for me.

I would suggest to children 3 - 8.

"The Berenstain Bears and the Jump Rope Contest" was entertaining...like all of the Berenstain books, it was a great reading resource for my daughter and Sister in her jump rope contest was hilarious.
I was very happy that my daughter enjoyed it.
I give it 4 stars.

This teaches Sister Bear that isn't not okay to be arrogant about being the best, but does teach her to stay at a task until it's finished. To give it your all even if you don't come in 1st place.
