Stan and Jan Berenstain (often called The Berenstains) were American writers and illustrators best known for creating the children's book series the Berenstain Bears. Their son Mike Berenstain joined them as a creative team in the late 1980s.
"The Berenstain Bears and the Jump Rope Contest" was entertaining...like all of the Berenstain books, it was a great reading resource for my daughter and Sister in her jump rope contest was hilarious. I was very happy that my daughter enjoyed it. I give it 4 stars.

This teaches Sister Bear that isn't not okay to be arrogant about being the best, but does teach her to stay at a task until it's finished. To give it your all even if you don't come in 1st place.
