This is a great "in between" novel in the Promises of God series. (I really hope that there's actually a Promises of God devotional in the works because that would seriously be awesome). You definitely need to read the first two books before reading this one, because you need to know who the characters are and what their relationships are like, otherwise you will be lost.

I loved this short story, although I definitely wanted it to be longer! It focuses on Reggie and Faith--Reggie's wrestling with his past and Faith's learning to lean on God and not on her own understanding. I honestly wanted to shake Reggie a few times throughout the story because I thought he was making very poor choices emotionally. Overall the spiritual truths shine through and the characters learn, grow, and move forward despite their all-too-human struggles.

The ending is heartfelt and whets the appetite for book 3 in the series.

Excellent as always

Kim Cash Tate does it once again. Takes difficult situations and makes them work! Never sugar coats the real issues we deal with as people and especially as Christians. Always is ready with the Scripture we need. Seriously she could write a rich study from the teachings in her books that are weaved so masterfully into the story line. I loved learning more about Reggie and getting to really see his heart. Another winner!

I enjoyed this quick read. However rating it 3 1/2 stars. It seemed a little bit more like a soap opera compared to her other books. Perhaps too much to tell to the readers quickly.

Faith

God is faithful. Though things are hard sometimes, God has already worked it out for our good, in Christ Jesus.

4-5 ⭐️: This was an edible taste to the third book in the POG series. I enjoyed reading about Tommy and Faith back story. I giggled a little and praised a lot through this novella. It was short and sweet but held my attention throughout the book.

If I had not read book three prior to this “intermission” I would run not walk to read the third book. It was a page turner with its life’s ups and downs with these two MCs, the melodrama throughout kept me highly engaged.

I would recommend this read for reader who is interested in fictional Christian writing. It’s God’s word that keeps me coming back.

Another great installment.....

Kim Cash Tate always writes books that cause me to examine my own Faith walk and this book does not disappoint. The purpose of my life as a believer is to lead others to Christ, even people who have hurt me. I sometimes forget the greater purpose and get stuck in my own feelings. Thank you for the reminder that this is MUCH bigger than me. And that we have to confront the uncomfortable things/situations in life to live a full one.

Another promise-filled story about God's heart for us

No one intertwines Scripture with heartwarming romance like Kim Cash Tate. Each book is part fiction and part devotional. If You're With Me continues the challenging yet joyful saga of the Langston and their extended family and friends. I don't know Tate's plans (or God's for her as an author), but I hope there are many more installments. I could read these forever.

Seeking God❤️

I liked this book because it was encouraging dealing with a real life issue. I enjoy this author’s work because she deals a lot with scriptures and actually shows how a real relationship can worked. Great communication and honesty along with much prayer. I would suggest a singles group read it and have honest discussions. I gave 5 stars because it was refreshing and had me wanting to read more.

Real Talk

Great storyline, real life issues were displayed. The issues were on point as to what we actually go thru in life. life is it always a bed of roses, there are thistles and prickles that hurt but we deal with them and move on. Sometimes they work out and other times they don’t but God is still faithful so keep holding on to His unchanging hand. P.S. - my favorite part was the devos and what they brought out in the book.

Beautifully written.

Best thing I love about Kim’s books, is that they make me want to run to the Lord and pray. And just stay in His presence. She also makes me want to wait on God, for His promises, for His perfect timing. To top it off, it was so beautifully written. Wish I’d slowed down and took some time savouring it😅 please get a copy. Also great if you’d read the first 2 books in the series

Another anointed hit!

I’m so thankful to be apart of the generation who has been graced by Kim Cash Tate’s heart for God. It’s early on Christmas Eve morning and I just finished this book. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The promises of Christmas will remain with me forever. Thank you!

This book was another powerful, intimate, short story to weave the story from if I believe and though I stumble. Kim Cash Tate continues to use scriptures given from God to produce powerful storylines that continue to bring hope and light after stumbling and feeling that all hope is lost. I look forward to the next novel because I am sure I won’t be able to put it down.

If You’re With Me

This was an awesome book. I loved the way the family got together with their devotions about promises related to Christmas. Faith’s words concerning if God is with us was a beautiful reminder of God’s promise.
Faith and Reggie love was tested in a sense but it too was tied in with God’s promises.
This was an excellent read.

Love this author!!!

Her books are not just fiction romance books but so much more!
Her books are Devotionals,Bible studies, examples of God's love all rolled in one. Love the fact that the answers are not easy,or simple with the characters of the book but the answer is the Word of God

Wonderful

I have just completed "If I Believe" couple hours ago and wanted to continue reading; so in looking up other books by Kim Cash Tate, I came across this novella. It was great how the story flows so well together with the others. Truly enjoyed reading both books today. Kim Cash Tate writes with warmth, truth, and the Word.

Awesome Read!i

I enjoyed this book because it gave us the background Reggie and Faith, mainly Reggie and his relationship with Mia, his first love! I think everyone will enjoy reading this Novella. Just read it before book 3! How I read it out of order I don't know, but I enjoyed it non the less and I think others will too!

I am an unconventional reader...so I read this AFTER "As long as I Cling". It was great to read Reggie's story and how he overcame his heartbreak. He strived to stay the man he matured into, yet made some of the same mistakes he got on Faith about. I understand wanting to find closure, but what do you do when it opens up sooo many other doors?

Such a great book!

I loved how Kim continues the characters to the next book. It really does set you up for book 3. I thing is learning about the promises of God and how to apply to my life. I’m definitely holding onto them. I thought so encouraged and I cannot wait to finish the rest of the promise series.

Such a great story. I loved how it authentically tied faith into the character's everyday life. I wanted to read a Christmas story during this season and this was perfect. I loved how there were quite a few moments in the story that made me laugh out loud. I probably will read this every year around Christmas. I highly recommend!

If You're With Me (A Promises of God Novella)

Excellent read on the relationship between Reggie and Faith. This time it's Faith that must put her faith in God concerning their relationship. Reggie goes home just before the Christmas holiday to spend time with his family. Someone from Reggie's past alters his plans and causes Reggie to lean on God as many feelings arise.

Good read for the soul

I've enjoyed the contiguity of your books. The biblical scripts, family stories, lessons within the story lines is so uplifting. It also educates and makes clearer the scriptures within. Thank you for sharing.

Mad respect for Reggie

I love Faith and Reg. I connect with Reggie and his big heart. He’s such a respectable man and loves Faith and Zoe the way they should be loved. Great little update, and I’m looking forward to Tommy’s story.

I read this book after all the others in the series. Where I thoroughly enjoyed the others, this one left me wondering why it was even written. It wasn't awful, just unnecessary in my opinion. I'm not sure I would have read the rest in the series if I had read this first.

We Need the In Between

Don’t think that you can skip the middle bits. If you’re invested in this book series at ALL, you HAVE to read the novella... backstory on Reg is the least of it- I’m here for the devotionals.

More Promises

I will never look at God's promises in a ho hum, I already know this kind of way. So loving getting reacquainted with this series. Faith and Reggie are a young couple working their way through life relying on Jesus.
