T.M. (Tracey Marie) Frazier never dreamed that a single person would ever read a word she wrote when she published her first book. Now, she is a eight-time USA Today bestselling author and her books have been translated into numerous languages and published all around the world.

T.M. enjoys writing what she calls ‘wrong side of the tracks romance’ with morally corrupt anti-heroes and ballsy heroines.

Her books have been described as raw, dark and gritty. Basically, what that means, is while some authors are great at describing a flower as it blooms, T.M. is better at describing it in the final stages of decay.

She loves meeting her readers, but if you see her at an event please don’t pinch her because she's not ready to wake up from this amazing dream.

When two hurricanes collide, either the weaker storm is absorbed by the stronger one or they fuse together to become a much stronger, super storm. Lenny and I are hurricanes, on a course of collision.

'NINE: THE TALE OF KEVIN CLEARWATER' is the ninth book in T.M. Frazier's 'King' series. But can be read as a complete standalone. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives' In this we meet Lenny and Nine aka Kevin.

YUS!! 🙌BOOM!! 🙌That's how it's done!! Freaking LOVED this book!! #Preppy sighs #Bo OMG I loved him!! A Mini Preppy in the making!! 5++++++++ stars!!

One look at the cover and I wanted it
One look at the author and I needed it
One read over the synopsis and I had to have it!!

We're first introduced to seventeen year old Kevin as he ages out of the system and unbeknownst to him he learns that he has a brother. So begins his journey of finding his brother and arriving at Logan's Beach and along the way encountering a young girl who he gives the nickname Poe. The night he met her was one that was cemented in his mind for years to come, she was the only living person whom impacted him like no other.

As soon as my arc arrived on my kindle I said goodbye to the world and didn't resurface until this had been inhaled!!

Talk about hit me in the feels, this is why this author right at the beginning of her writing career cemented herself as one of my favourite authors, I love the characters she's introduced me to, the unique storylines, the heart pounding situations they face, the chaos and mayhem, the dark, the grit, the angst, the drama, the romance all make for epic riveting reads and like this book this author nails them on all!!

Nine pulled me in as soon as I started it!! Being pulled back into the past and seeing what made him tick, the abuse he endured, finding his brother and then coming into his own, for the life of me I couldn't put it down. I never knew what was missing in my life until this book, it felt like I was coming home after a leave of absence.

Couldn’t have been any better!

Firstly, I have to say that the cover is to die for. That back tattoo is beyond badass and so hot. I also genuinely loved the change in Kevin Clearwater a.k.a Nine, since the last Preppy book. He was much smaller, pretty quiet and just a young kid that hung around his brother to get to know him. This book goes into Nine’s background, discovering he had a brother he never knew about and looking Preppy up on the Internet only to find out what he could about him.

His head is cocked to the side, and he’s making duck lips at the camera while holding a sign that reads LOGAN’S BEACH SHERIFF’S OFFICE INMATE with a date from two years ago listed below it. I look closer and realize that he’s holding the sign with only his two middle fingers. I wonder if the sheriff’s office ever noticed that. I grin to myself. A brother. My brother.

In this book Nine is described as 6’4” tall, covered in Ink and having a brutal reputation. When Lenora (Lenny) asks why he is called Nine, he gives her three guesses, after she gets the first two wrong, her eyes drop down to the front of his pants and he assures her she got it, but that the Nine isn’t really correct. it’s actually bigger.

He first meets her when they are teenagers on the causeway bridge, both thinking of jumping for different reasons and they talk each other out of it. Though tragically she falls and he feels that she saved him. They later meet, but don’t immediately know they are the same people from the bridge that affected each other’s lives so much. The attraction grows and they try to save each other again.

“Preppy leans back on the siding and hooks his thumbs under his suspenders, stretching and releasing them several times before he speaks. “Sooo…I hate to be the bearer of interesting news, but you’re looking at her like you want to eat her. Stalk much?”
“No, I’m fucking not,” I snap defensively. Too defensively.
Preppy releases his suspenders and holds up his hands like he’s on the receiving end of a hold-up. “Whoa, whoa. Don’t go getting your panties in a twist, little brother. I didn’t say stalking was a bad thing. In fact, if you need some pointers, I’d be happy to enrol you in Preppy’s How To Stalk Like a Mofo 101.”

The book is pure gold. Preppy, of course is the best part and I could probably read books about this group of friends every day. I really wish they would make a TV show based on this series. It would be so good. I highlighted so many hilarious quotes that had me laughing out loud over and over. I was sorry to finish it.

“Well, brother from possibly the same mother, we don’t know Fred and Meryl. We were being chased by a cop after we allegedly egged the convenience store due to the little bitch that works there being a waste of human life.”
“So, you didn’t egg the convenience store?” I ask.
Preppy purses his lips. “No, we totally did, I just forgot what allegedly meant for a second.” He takes another drag.

One thing I know for sure is that I will probably reread this series at least once every few years. It is that awesome!

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

It's not the first time that I find myself bitching about one star reviews to a book that is not available. So, like the brat that I am, I fight back with a five stars review of my own.

I just finished re-reading "Up in Smoke", and I was wondering about Nine, wishing that he got a book of his own. I logged into my Goodreads account and tadaaaa, here it is.

What's left to do? Well, bite my nails, pull my hair, and freak out until there's a release date.
Good job, T. M. You just ruined my fucking manicure.

This was another awesome addition to the King series by TM Frazier! Anyone who is familiar with this series, without a doubt knows who Preppy Clearwater is! In this instalment we meet Peppy’s brother; Kevin Clearwater aka Nine! We learn in the story how he becomes “Nine” and I can tell you that his name comes from a very special incident involving Nine and a girl named Lenny!

Like all the stories in this series, this has violence, twists and turns, dark themes and unconventional situations... but at the heart of it all is a love story that involves two characters who are brought together by fate. When they meet each other their lives are never the same!

What I also love about this series is we always get cameos from past characters that we have all grown to love! There were just a few complaints I had overall.. 1 was regarding the lack of consistency of one of the characters and the second was regarding Nine’s past issues. He had major hang ups regarding sex, which given his past was totally valid.. then all of a sudden when he became intimate with Lenny, he was over it

Even with those two issues I had, I still thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for any future ones to come!
Thanks so much to Steph for another amazing buddy read!❤️

My Beloved Nine,
I adore you.
T.M. Frazier may have created you, but you're mine now.
Every unfortunate thing that happened to you in the past didn't kill you or your spirit.
You cannot be broken because you bend.
I love how despite the ugliness of your past, you can still have hope.
You remind me so much of your brother and have easily taken a spot right beside him in my heart.
Any person blessed to meet you is better for it.
Kevin, you inspire me.
This isn't 'goodbye'. It's 'see you later'.

I haven't met a Frazier book I didn't like and everyone of her heroes owns me. OWNS ME!! Kevin Clearwater bounced from foster home to foster home, abused and neglected, leaving him desperate for a family. When he ages out, he discovers that he has an older brother out there. So he goes to find him, but it's too late. Or is it? One day, after another day of abuse, he meets a young girl at the top of the causeway. While she was able to save his life, he wasn't able to save hers. Or does he?

Almost everyone made an appearance in this book. I missed Smoke, but at least Frankie was there for a bit of a fix. While this story had a suspenseful element to it, it was more about the broken and anxious girl who trusted the wrong people and when a boy from the other side of the tracks helps her, she spits in his face. No, I mean she tentatively trusts him and love grows. Gah! To be loved by Kevin/Nine! I just wish that his forever girl was less of a judgmental wench.

I can't get enough of the people of Logan's Beach. Although the only Logan's Beach in Florida that I could find (yes, I searched a LONG time ago) is a bar, I wish I could visit. Luckily Frazier doesn't seem to be letting these characters go and so I have more of these awesome people to look forward to. Have you heard that there's going to be a King and his Doe novella? SWEET!! I'm most definitely looking forward to that!

“This thing between us, connecting us, is far from a romance. It’s a crash. A fucking freefall.”

N9Ne is the ninth book in the King Series. Although I highly recommend reading every single book in this series, N9Ne can be read as a stand-alone. With action, a complex plot, and intriguing characters, T.M. Frazier has proven once again that she is the QUEEN of all things dark and delicious! Kevin Clearwater, aka Nine, aka Preppy's little brother, is a man on a mission. He has been given the task of tracking every move of a young woman named Lenny. Lenny is what many would call "down on her luck". Abandoned by her boyfriend, losing her house, broke, and anxiety-ridden, she truly has nowhere to go! Lenny and Nine are instantly drawn to one another and although Nine knows he has a job to do, he cannot help but claim Lenny in the process. As the demons from his past (and the baggage Lenny is carrying around) begins to surface, the stakes are high for Nine and Lenny to survive the "smackdown of life" and find their happily ever after together!

description
“I look through the sliding glass doors and catch a glimpse of Lenny’s long brown hair ... A feeling inside me more powerful than any drug I’ve ever sampled takes hold. Mine. Mine. Mine. Mine to protect. Mine"
Told in multiple POV, N9NE is a creatively crafted masterpiece with witty text, colorful characters, and raw passion. If you have spent any time with King, Preppy, or Bear than you know that these men know how to get things done! Kevin is the piece of the puzzle that makes the brotherhood complete! The torture and abuse that he was forced to endure, in his past, only make his transformation that much more remarkable. In addition to the exploration of our favorite characters, T.M. also tackles the delicate subject of Lenny's anxiety disorder. I found the balance of all of these variables truly enhanced the plot and made the relationships between these characters even more endearing!

description
“This, with Nine, is downright nuclear. And any second, we’re both going to fucking explode.”
Overall, it's no secret that I am a HUGE T.M Frazier fan. EVERY TIME she has a new book coming out, it feels like Christmas! I will forever be a fan of the King Crew and I truly will never get enough! With a complex plot, non-stop action, and raw passion, N9Ne is simply stunning!

If it’s one thing that I love, is being thrown back into the world of messed up, crazy lovable characters. T.M Frazier has created this world where her characters are fearless, lawless, raw, passionate and downright unforgettable. We crave them when their bad, and we love them when they’ve showed their scars but it’s their love and protection that will have us at a standstill because that is something you will FEEL.

Lenny has had her fair share of tragic events to last her a lifetime. Four years later and the pain is still there along with the feeling of being alone. But when an unfortunate event takes place forcing Lenny to leave her old life behind, she’ll soon realize that she’s about to be surrounded with a lot of things that she’s always wanted.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Kevin Nine Clearwater grew up with nothing forcing him to see things and do things that no young person should ever have to do. But through it all he’s found a semblance of hope with being a part of his brother’s life and his close friends. When a job puts him at the forefront of retrieving vital information that puts Lenny herself in danger, Nine is about to risk it all for a woman who’s past is connected to him. With the stakes so high and danger looming from all sides, will Nine and Lenny be able to survive?

I can always depend on this author to give me a little action thrill in my reads and make me laugh out loud at the same time. Nine, along with Preppy, King and the whole gang gave us the brotherhood we loved and seeing everyone there again was perfect. If you’re looking for a sexy read with a bit of mystery to it, then this one is for you.

N9NE: The Tale of Kevin Clearwater preceded all expectations I had.

It's T.M. Frazier at her finest as she delivers yet another real, raw, and raunchy dark romance that takes my love for the King Series to a whole new level. I'm sitting here now, days after finishing this book and I'm honestly still blown away by all that she delivered; I'm still speechless. N9NE was my most highly anticipated read of 2019 and it did not disappoint in being a book that kept me on the edge of my seat, devouring this story from the get-go.

These characters? Aren't who I thought they were.
This story? Is truly unlike any that're part of this series.
That plot twist? C O M P L E T E L Y . B L E W . M Y . M I N D!

It's been a looooong time since a plot twist of Frazier's has managed to completely throw me from the loop and have me dropping my Kindle to shout What the fuck?! Usually I can guess her twists before they happen, but she shocked me splendidly in Nine and Lenny's fantastically funny, dark and sexy and suspenseful story - a story full of heartache and abuse, and focuses on the struggles with trauma and mental health so realistically that at one point, I had to stop to freaking applaud this author because what both Nine and Lenny have and are going through? It broke my heart to have to read. But the way this author showed and handled it?

To me, she did it in a way that did those subjects and the gravity of them justice.

No words can express just how much I loved this book. A part of me wants to rave about this story and these characters and never stop, because N9NE is truly one of the best reads that I have read in a really long time - heck, it's officially my favourite book of T.M. Frazier's. But at the same time, a part of me just wants to settle with telling you to read this novel, and have hope that you trust in me enough that you won't question me, and you'll dive into this story and enjoy it like I know you will - especially if you're a lover of dark romances and have no triggers whatsoever.

And especially if you're looking for a book with (in my eyes) a good representation of a character struggling with anxiety.

Told in a dual POV, and with some past/present scenarios that gives us more of an insight into both Nine and Lenny's horrific and shocking pasts, N9NE was truly an amazing read that consumed me from the very first page until the very last. I now won't be able to look at, think, nor say the number nine without thinking of my Nine - and the real meaning behind that name - and his and Lenny's story. So step aside Preppy, because Kevin "Nine" Clearwater has completely stolen my heart, and I am not looking to get it back from him anytime soon.

This was shockingly a pretty sweet book which was surprising since the King series typically has some very dark undertones to it. Don't get me wrong, this book still had a lot of things that most people would consider dark, yet the characters somehow kept a lightness about them. Mostly because Kevin, aka Nine, was adorable when it came to Lenny and his interactions with her. I really liked the cuteness of the characters and how it mixed with the craziness surrounding them.

T.M Frazier always brings the crazy into her books and manages to keep me in suspense through every page, and this one was no different. We got to see some of the past characters pop up, which was amazing since it was just small little things that showed how they were doing. There was a lot going on but the fast pace of the story kept me intrigued and it never felt like too much happening at one time.

I do have to say that I'm still feeling a little iffy on the character development. I just feel like there was room for so much more fleshing out of these characters and I would have loved to see that. Nine's past, for me, could have used just a little more detail, especially for the time between where he met Lenny and how he then got to where he was for the present. As for Lenny, my biggest issue was her anxiety. I don't mean this in any mean way and I know anxiety is different for every person, but it made it hard for me to connect to her when I felt like we were told she suffered from anxiety more than we were shown what that meant for her life. It was like the book started off with a lot more details of how she dealt with her anxiety and then by the middle it died down to only being mentioned that she did get anxious over certain things. But again, never shown.

Overall, I'm so sad to see this series end but it was a really good ending. I definitely felt like we got the closure we needed for all of the King characters, though I'm sure it's not the last we'll see of them. For some this book could probably be read as a standalone with no issue, but I would recommend reading the series together to avoid spoilers or confusing scenes.

Y’all MUST get to know my latest book boyfriend, Kevin. I loved every little thing about him. Yes, he was hella sexy, but more than that he was protective, open to love, and the perfect match for our heroine, Lenny. His life has not been easy but his spirit and drive have given him the fortitude to power through obstacles and he certainly does not let his past define his future.

The plot was well crafted with emotional elements added at just the right times. I got to see exponential character development and each brought something unique to the table. I loved catching up with King, Bear, and Preppy!

The prose and overall tone stayed true to that gritty, unapologetic T.M. Frazier style that has gripped every one of us and has yet to let go. The pace was solid. Another great addition to the series and one that is going on my favorites shelf.

*** 3.5 My Little Brother In Law STARS ***

Es que I FUCKING LOVE YOU pues

***AVAILABLE NOW - FULL REVIEW***

5 EAP CROWNS

N9NE by T.M. Frazier had this reader returning to one of her favorite worlds. Preppy, King, and Bear, along with their heroines, gave me endless entertainment in dark and twisted way that only they can do. And while N9NE follows this trend, the tone itself was different from its predecessors, a bit more introspective but just as amazing.

The tone very much stems from the character of N9Ne. He isn't as violent, as outwardly aggressive, or extroverted as the previous characters. He is the silent watcher, observer. He is the thinker of the group, and, to be honest, he is a bit damaged by the system he was raised in. Can he be violent and aggressive? Absolutely! Especially when the ones he loves are in danger. It is clear through his actions that he has one the biggest hearts of the entire crew, so seeing him find his place among them, get his HEA, and heal from this past was incredibly rewarding as a reader.

Lenora is an interesting character who has suffered immense loss. She struggles, daily, with a condition that plagues many and will resonate with readers. It is through Nine's compassion and understanding that she starts to shed her past as well. Seeing her come alive and let go of the parts of her life that weigh her down added to the evolution of her character and brought her and Nine closer together. Again, she has similar qualities to previous Frazier heroines, but there is a subtleness to her and a quietness to her nature that translated into a different type of romance from this world.

N9Ne has been one of my most anticipated novels from Frazier. As I stated previously, I LOVE THIS WORLD. I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS. All of them, including Nine and Lenny, but the tone of this novel is bit less intense. The story provides the violence, the protective and corrupt heroes, the suspense and danger we have become accustomed to but in a toned down manner. What does remain is that Frazier knows how to keep me on my toes when it comes to the plot, and I was left in shock many times as plot details were revealed. As always, I am a sucker for a good ending. and N9NE did not disappoint in this regard. The story of N9NE comes full circle for this hero readers come to love of the course of this novel, not just in a romantic way but in a familial way as well.

N9NE is something new, something a bit fresh in this world, while still holding onto the pieces readers love. It is more than a romance, it is a journey of healing and finding a home. It is about finding peace and happiness for yourself and throwing the norms out of the window, and for that, this place, Logan Beach will always be a home for this reader, a place I will always want to come back to visit.

Este libro no me dejo nada.
Kevin no me enamoro, preocupo o interesó.
T.M. Frazier y yo ya no conectamos.
Ni Preppy salva este libro, es mas creo que lo termino afectando.

Title :: NINE: THE TALE OF KEVIN CLEARWATER (King #9)
Author: T.M. Frazier

I am in a book coma. WOW! T.M. Frazier has blown my mind away with N9NE.
This is the 9th (9th!!!!!!) book from the King Series and boy do I think It takes an amazing author to capture it's readers even after so many books.
"I was born into chaos, with theft in my blood and rage boiling in my heart."
I got goosebumps when I read this line. Suffice to say, I knew reading N9NE was going to take me for a crazy wild read.

I am honestly having a hard time writing this review because I am speechless by how much I enjoyed this book. Nine and Lenny's chemistry blew my mind. I mean talk about jaw dropping hotness!

64706118_2194566053975087_632026857335685120_o.jpg

But on a serious note, I feel like this book was so much more than just a crazy hot romance novel.
Yes, it is raw, dark and filled with chaos that makes for such an amazing read.
Yes, there is hot, angst-filled sizzlingly chemistry that makes your entire body tingle.
But I also loved the fact that the characters in N9NE showed us that
"A person could be both a killer and a saviour. sensitive and heartless. flawed yet perfect. fearful and bold."

I can't even begin to explain how much I loved this book. I loved the cameos from characters that I have come to love from the previous books from the series.
King, Preppy, Bear, Ray, Dre and especially Bo .... I love these characters and I am ridiculously happy that these characters were part of this stunning book.

I can always count on this author to give us a spectacular book that makes you feel like your body is going to combust with it's awesomeness.
I can't wait to read more... Highly recommend it!

*Nine can be read as a complete standalone.

Since 2015, my favorite book at any given moment has been the last one I read by T.M. Frazier. Nine was definitely no exception. This book reunited me with all my favorite King series heroes and gave me two more to fall in love with. Kevin and Lenny were perfection! Like all of Tracey's books, Nine was just as hilarious as it was dark and violent. Just as deep and emotional as it was smoking hot. And those plots twists along the way kept me up all night, turning the page until my Kindle hit my face. NINE stars!!!

I'll be short on this review...

The stars finally aligned for me and my british Mom, and we could finally buddy read Nine! We've been on hold since last year, and I'm happy to say that I still have the happiest of times buddy reading with my crazy Mom Lor!
Girllllll you know what I mean... 😂❤️

But unfortunately for us, this was our least favorite on the series.

Don't get me wrong... I'm a huge TM Frazier fan... Like, probably her number one fan, and that's why I can't say that this book is better or equal the previous one.

Nine and Lenny's love story is a slow burn, but that's not the issue...
The story itself dragged around and around the same subject without really anything new happening.
It was all around where's the stolen money, and to protect Lenny from the big bad cartel boss (who wasn't really big and bad in the end, and the money was forgotten).

For the first time on a TM Frazier book, I didn't liked how the plot twist was explained... And not because of the who was behind all the bad shit, but because of the amount of nonsense.

But I'll point out what I loved...

The writing is still as good as always, and all the Preppy and Bo's cameos just made my day! I miss the original troublemakers.
I loved the scene between Nine and Lenny in the bridge, when she discovered that he was the bridge guy.

Nine spent his whole childhood alone and unloved in the world, so it means a lot to me all the interactions between him and Preppy and him and Pike.
He deserved to me loved and he deserved the feel of belonging.

I loved the final scene between the boys! Even with the amount of drug abuse... Because yeah... They're just on the wrong side of the causeway.

“The scariest monsters are the ones that lurk within our souls.”
-Edgar Allan Poe.

Wow! Now this book was just pure brilliance. I know I am going to struggle to articulate clearly how much I loved N9NE: The Tale of Kevin Clearwater by T. M. Frazier. It was such a unique and powerful story that captured my attention immediately and kept my fully engaged throughout. It is one of those stories that will keep you up all night reading and saying those famous words “just one more chapter” but you know those words are a lie, because one more chapter is never enough. I have absolutely fallen in love with this fast paced, intriguing and dark world that T. M. Frazier has created for us and this story has etched its way into my soul and is there to stay.

Kevin absolutely broke my heart, everything he has been through in his life is nothing short of a living hell and as a result it comes to no surprise, he is broken beyond all belief. He has so much anger boiling through his veins and the streets have become his only friend. Seventeen-year-old Kevin is due to leave the system soon and he has discovered he has a brother that he never knew existed. He then begins the journey to Logan's Beach in search of his unknown brother.

“This is ownership. Primal. Real. Body. Heart. Soul.”

While Nine has his issues and a past that is well worth sharing with the world, he has a compassionate heart and while he has gone through immense pain and heartache, his spirit is nothing short of inspiring. Life has not been too kind to Lenora (Lenny) either who has also suffered an array of heartache and pain, but with struggles and loss comes hope. As much as I loved Nine, that is nothing compared to the empathy and understand I had for Lenny, she is truly an inspiration that I could really relate to on a deeper level.

The powerful and electrifying chemistry of these two beautiful and broken souls is positively magical and the more I read the more I wanted and needed. The plot twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat and completely intrigued me while I immersed myself into this intense and riveting world. N9NE: The Tale of Kevin Clearwater is a true masterpiece and an epic and unforgettable read.

I loved Nine so SO much! He was completely unexpected. Such a different character! The perfect mix of hard and soft. Alpha and beta.

Unexpected was the keyword for me throughout. The heroine was the same. I have no idea what I expected, to be honest. But she was so broken. It was almost sad, but equally riveting because her story is so emotionally gripping. Poe, aptly named, had a hard life but still struggles to pull through.
Her story ARC really grabbed me.

The storyline is solid. I loved their first meeting as much as the second. The conflict provides the shock value I’m used to getting from this author. And the writing is solid. Preppy very nearly stole the show, but I think that’s to be expected at the point.

Overall, it’s was a very entertaining read.

TM Frazier never fails to entertain you. SHe pulls you in, has a vast array of memorable characters and a kick ass, dark, story line. N9ne was no different.

Nine, aka Kevin Clearwater, younger brother to Preppy sat on a bridge contemplating ending it when a beautiful girl climbed over with the same idea. They quoted Poe, talked, a kiss at 9, since 3 was to quick, decided to get of the bridge but she slips and plummets, a bridge with no survivors, no body found.

Years later, Kevin, is Nine. Some has stolen from him, Preppy, Bear and King and he feels at fault. When he confronts the guy, he has to end him. Attention turns to his girlfriend, Lenore aka Lenny. When Preppy meets her he is stunned. Lenore is Poe, but how.

Now he has to find out it she is involved in the swindling of their money, where it is? While fighting the attraction that he has to her, to Poe. When he is sure she wasn't involved now there is another issue the mafia has an interest cause her boyfriend took their money too. He will have to keep her safe while hiding knowing who she is to his past.

A few twist and turns make this a great read. I love TM's style.

The story of Kevin Clearwater was an intensely emotional read filled with suspense and plot twists that will keep you fully engaged from beginning to end. While this book had dark elements, I found this one not as dark as the others in the series.

Kevin a.k.a Nine has had a tragic and painful past. Passed around in the foster system, he has encountered abuse in many forms. He has basically spent most of his life doing whatever he needed to do to survive. Based on his past I actually expected him to be more damaged but a brief chance encounter with a girl sort of changes his life and gives him purpose to "be more".

Nine is an extremely intelligent character. His character is violent only when he needs to be and I loved his fierce possessiveness and need to protect Lenny. Lenny has her own issues that she's trying to deal with and the circumstances surrounding how Lenny and Nine meet set the stage for the mystery and thrill of the book.

The chemistry between Nine and Lenny is explosive! I loved that NIne as a 'quite guy' was a bit of a dirty talker in the bedroom. It made it that more sexier. They connect not only on a physical level but also on an emotional level. They come from two different worlds and live on opposite sides of the Causeway but they are both seeking a place to belong.

This book was ultimately about family and I seriously got emotional when King, Bear and Preppy welcomed Nine into the fold. These guys run Logan Beach, they are feared and they have earned the respect of everyone. They are ruthless and no one messes with them but they also have wives and kids who they adore and will die to protect. I love all these characters so much and I seriously enjoyed getting sentimental over the whole lot of them.

I absolutely enjoyed this fast paced, suspenseful and sexy edition to the King series!

Dial 555-SEX-PREP?” for the ride of your life MoFos!!
What a thrilling story, made me hate the words THE END. My eyes were glued to the book, my heart was thumping out of my chest at every page. Why did it finish so soon😭
Full throttle entertainment pot boiler has it all. Love , sizzling sex, angst, emotions and drama
Picking up the book was homecoming for me. I cried and laughed, sang and whistled, drowned and survived the heartbreak of Kevin and Lenny. They are my people and as the family grows, my heart just balloons up to fit them all in❤️

The central theme is UNDYING LOVE. The Whatever-It-Takes kind of love, come-what-may and I'll-Wait-Forever kinds.
Love.
What they say about it is true. It fucking hurts.
Love is a two-sided sword that cuts at every turn. I know this because Poe’s edges are sharp, and my heart is sliced to fucking shreds.

The story revisits the backwaters again and I felt immediately at home.
Logan Beach is a magical place where stories arise like plumes of stench from the Swamp. I'd rather live in this mythical place than anywhere else in the world. The kings who run this town- The "Brotherhood", are the BEST EVER created by Tracie. I've been a devotee of King, Bear and Preppy ever since book one. Their sense of belonging and ownership run hand in hand, they rule the town, the MC club, their women and us readers. The women who share their lives are the coolest chicks ever. when I heard about Kevin Clearwater book being written, I was beside myself with joy & anticipation...More #BowTieTillIDie Preppy 😀
I CANNOT get enough of this suspender clad, super smoothie maker, weirdo and guess what...his brother is a step ahead of him

N9NE- What can I say except he's EVERY NINE INCH Preppy's brother, and then some! He's loyal, powerful, broken, compassionate. SIMPLY THE BEST MAN. I fell hopelessly in love with him and his personality. Drop dead sexy, his heart belongs only to his "Poe" and a mere momentary encounter on a causeway 4 years ago just binds their hearts for eternity. Tragedy strikes and their lives are changed and lost forever.
“Sometimes, you gotta almost die to remember that you’re alive.”
This book is a perfect balance of nostalgia and serendipity. Lies and secrets unfurl in every chapter making it impossible to put it down even for a second. The story seemed too short cause it's so engrossing and left me hungry for more. Traces writing skills have made me greedy. I want her to write more, keep giving engaging stories of this dysfunctional family of sorts. #KeepWritingTracie
If you loved King, Bear and Preppy(duhhh) you'll be absolutely besotted with N9NE and Lenny.
4.5 stars for The Prince Of Logan Beach

N9ne: The Tale of Kevin Clearwater was the ninth book in the King series by TM Frazier.

We met Kevin in Preppy’s story as Preppy’s younger half brother. I totally loved N9ne. True to form for the series, it was tough at times, but I loved the characters and the storyline. It was well written and well developed.

Both Nine and Lenny had a tough life, albeit for different reasons, but tough none the less. I loved the development but I also loved the suspenseful/ mystery nature of the storyline. It kept it fast paced and intriguing. I literally read this straight through in one day and I could keep reading for more and be totally happy.

Additionally, I was reminded why I loved Preppy. I giggled like crazy...again. And I absolutely loved Bo - awesome kid! I can’t wait for his story. In the meantime, Grimm was referenced and we’ll get his story next. I am a huge Frazier fan....and a huge King series fan, so I totally can’t wait.

This is the ninth book in the King series and I'm pretty sure my obsession is affecting my judgment.
It's very smutty, dark and wrong on so many levels, and I adore every second of it. ❤︎

Even if this woman puts out a book full of grocery lists, I buy it right away.

❥ Some quotes:

"If I ever needed a reason to live, I've found it, because I've never before felt so fucking alive."

"Hear me when I say that you are more than one thing. A person can be both sensitive and heartless. Both selfish and selfless. Quiet and loud. Fearful and bold. Jealous and proud. A killer and a savior. Flawed, yet perfect. We can love and hate in equal measure. We can be crazy sometimes and sane in the next."

“My own orgasm, having not yet faded, surges back to life with a new intensity that has me digging my heels into his ass, my nails into his back, and holding on.
For my life.
And for his.
Forevermore”

"I'm so incredibly lost in the moment, in him.
Or maybe, I've finally been found."

I've been reading TM Frazier for about two years now, and whenever she has a new book coming out, I am always itching to get my hands on it. I was super excited to see she was coming back to the King series with a new character!

Nine has had a rough life. He finally decides to leave and try to find the only family he has left. He finds a home and a family with Preppy, but a ghost from his past is back and he needs to protect her at all costs.

From the prologue of this book, I was seriously hooked. I loved how Nine and Lenny met and how we got some of their backgrounds before we skipped to years ahead when they finally meet again. This book took on much more of a romantic suspense and I loved it for that. Lenny had no idea what she had gotten herself into and Nine was there to try and help keep her out of danger. Of course, they had insane chemistry and Lenny didn't know what to feel sine she's never been involved in that kind of life before.

I will say, for a dark romantic suspense, this one wasn't as dark or suspenseful as I wanted it to be. There were some slower parts and I wanted so much more action that the first books in this series have. Of course, there was a dramatic twist near the end, which is typical of TM Frazier in her books. I'm not so sure it had the impact I wanted it to have, but overall this story was definitely entertaining and I really loved the romance between Lenny and Nine.

While this one isn't my favorite of the series, it was a great addition to the King world. This can be read as a standalone, but I loved seeing all of the characters from the previous books in this series that we know and love. Fans of the King series should definitely pick up Nine!

I just wish it was longer, it was just so short. The only reason why I didn't rate it five stars its cause the romance wasn't enough, the focus on the mystery basically took over the whole book.

Apart from the above I really like this book, it was fun and addictive, I couldn't put it down till I finished it.

There was special appearances by Preppy, Dre and Bow. There were others of King, Bear and Ray but it wasn't as much as Preppy's.

The King series has been one of those delightful finds that I never expected to stumble across. I picked up the first one on a whim and now (around 2 weeks later) this series has firmly marked its place as one of my favourite series. And N9ne is a wonderful addition to the series.

I really like the addition of Kevin (who now finally has his nickname of Nine!) in the Preppy instalments of the series and was really interested to see how the relationship between Nine and Preppy continued, because it was beautiful when Preppy brought him to live with him and Dre. And now that we know more about his upbringing and everything that lead him to be there, it makes it all the more beautiful. The relationships that Nine has built with the guys in his brothers world is amazing. I think I have said this in ever review of this series, but honestly the characters in these book are just wonderful and the real driving force behind my addition to the books.

The plot of N9ne moved at a good pace with enough plot and character development to keep me hooked throughout. The way that the characters that I love were woven into the story made it all that more enjoyable for me and I loved seeing Preppy (and King and Bear, but mostly Preppy) appear on the page.

Please T.M. Frazier, please never stop writing this series, I want to be writing reviews for book 60 in series and still talking about these wonderful characters.

Overall, 4 stars for N9ne: The Tale of Kevin Clearwater. The only reason this is not 5 stars for me is because I wanted more Preppy (and Bear and King but again, mostly Preppy) but that is just my personal love for that character and teases of him were just not enough! Great story, great series and I highly recommend that people pick these books up.
