Romance addict. Hopeless daydreamer. People watcher. Total romantic at heart.

That's me. When I'm lost in a good book a nuclear bomb could go off next to me - I wouldn't flinch. I'm not afraid to read in public and laugh until my eyes water and my sides hurt. I'll cry at a tender moment. Dab my eyes when a couple finally realizes they're in love. Race with my heart pounding to the end of an adventure. Give me a little mystery – now I'm really intrigued.

I'll fall in love with a hot, witty hero any day of the week. Shhh. Just between you and me? My biggest turn-on? A man with a sense of humor. Let me melt now. I'm hooked.

Give me billionaires, modern-day dukes and royals. Give me hot, witty nerds, and intelligent men.

Marriages of convenience? Fake relationships? Second-chance romances? I'm in!

I write books that I want to read. That make me laugh. That make my heart race. If any of this sounds good to you, join me! If you want to be sure to hear when I have a new release, visit me at www.ginarobinson.com and sign up for my newsletter.

Mon avis en français

My English review

When I saw the cover of the novel, I thought it would be a nice and humorous romance. And I have to say that it fits quite well, even if the story is not really what I expected. But I must say that I had not read the synopsis that summarizes the novel.

As you can imagine from the synopsis, we follow Jeremy and Crystal during their first explosive encounter, then in their arranged dates. It was quite nice to follow them and the novel reads pretty fast, but I must say that I had trouble with the credibility of the story. Everything’s really going too fast. And what can I say when, on the third date our hero proposes to her? It’s something I’m really having a hard time with, so it’s been a little complicated for me.

This aside, it was a nice novel to read and the story still made me have a good time.

This book was just flat-out fun, starting with one of the best “first meets” I’ve ever read. Both Crystal and Jeremy have reached that point in their lives where they’re ready to find “the one.” Jeremy happens to be friends with a matchmaker, the same matchmaker who watches Crystal react quickly to an emergency in a fancy restaurant, and impressed with her style, hands Crystal a business card suggesting she check out her services.

One flaming beer truck and heroic rescue later, a rescue Crystal performs with a sexy stranger, and the stage is set for a wonderful tale of matchmaking in business. Loved every bit of this one, and it was exactly the read I wanted—and needed! Some days you just want to veg out with a good book, and Gina Robinson definitely writes the perfect escape. Slick writing, great characters, snappy dialogue...it’s a terrific story.

rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. I love Gina's books!! we meet crystal, an unicorn hunter who saves a womam on fire while out for a business mtg. her friends call her the accidental heroine but doesnt want the accolades with it. as she dashes out of the restaurant, ashley catches up with her and gives her the shpeel and her card. ashley knows she found Jeremy a match. we met Jeremy wayy back as o of Lasers bffs. he's the quiet shy guy who his friend call him the accidental hero bc he seems to save the day. he is one of Ashleys clients and wants to find the one. while on his way to meet the matchmaker, he sees a gorgeous blonde and luckily he catches up to her. But a truck is coming right for them. both Jeremy and his petite blonde save one another then save the driver of the beer truck. amped on adrenaline Jeremy goes to ask the woman her name and number and boom...she disappears. Ashley is meeting a new client...the fire girl...and she looks completely different with darker hair. she shows Crystal a pic of a man and Crystal is shocked that it's him...the man from the beer incident...set her up like yesterday. Jeremy is getting the DL on a new match but wants to be surprised I'm what she looks like I'm the date. fast Forward to the date and Jeremy doesn't recognize Crystal right away bc of the hair and is awestruck. flirty banter leaves both wanting another date but Jeremy screwed up. will Crystal give him.another chance or will one of Ashleys fellow sweep Crystal off her feet? eeek....cant wait for more!!!

This was a really good book, and a great start to a new series. I love Jeremy and Crystal, and really enjoyed seeing them together. Overall, this was a really good book that pulled me in and kept me hooked until I finished it. I can't wait to read the next book. However something that bothered me in this book is about the couple from a previous series, Ashley and Lazer. Lazer is dragging his feet about setting a date for the wedding, and that really bothers me, it makes it like he doesn't actually love Ashley and want to get married, and that's putting a very bad taint on their series. I hope the author doesn't do anything to ruin that whole series of books by having them break up or some cliche thing like that. I took a star off because of the Ashley and Lazer situation. I was gifted a copy.

Swoon worthy hero

Maybe it’s me. And I get that dating does have some essence of a game like quality but I like not playing games and if I like someone I like someone. And I would like that in return none of that it’s too early after a date crap to text. So I found that although yes for a first meet and greet date I agreed with crystal about wishing it was more than a coffee date I also agreed with Jeremy. That it doesn’t mean they aren’t interested and putting in effort. It’s a feeler meeting to get your feet wet and go from there. I feel like that would suck for the guy to have to pay for high end meals or so many people they are just going on first dates with. And I get she is a match maker but I found that her trying to essentially change Jeremey of his genuine ways of texting and being up front irritated me. And Crystal wound up agreeing to another date to let him redeem himself which I think is BS cause a coffee date isn’t bad. I get her insecurities about the blonde to auburn change but Jeremy straight up admitted to being bad with faces and the fact that she changed her right after meeting him but he still recognized her anyway it just took a couple minutes is not the end of the world.
I liked the book much more after theses issues I had. I really liked both characters and loved seeing the whole gang and blair as well. A little suspense, lots of love and friendship and of course lots of hero acts.

I was thrilled to be able to review the next book in the series.
Gina Robinson has done a wonderful job with these high tech, geeky, buff men. Give me a call buff man that is sweet, kind, and has great friends any day of the week. If he is smart that is just icing on the cake, but being heroic also, you got me there.
Jeremy's story is so poignant, well thought out, and just as I would have pictures him. He has that down-home boyish charm that is hard to resist. With all his friends he would need a very uniquely strong woman.
Gina have him the perfect one in Crystal. Crystal made Jeremy earn his date which for Jeremy was something.
The only issue was instead of the four books with cliche you get this all in one.
The imagination of the date event was so worth it. I know you will enjoy this book.

I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Heroes needs love too

Oh Jeremy Marino, you are the whole package. He says the sweetest things, sets up the best adventure date ever, he’s a rule breaker, hero & a romantic to boot. Who wouldn’t want that? He’s also determined to find the one girl that he can’t get out of his head after they save a truck driver together. Crystal Pruitt likes being in the background, an observer of all things. She’s also quick to action when someone is in need. She can’t help but replay meeting the guy who she helped get a driver out of a flaming truck. He was quick to action, calm and makes jokes in the midst of chaos.

This is my favorite to date. Gina does a great job in keeping you engage in the adventures these two get into. Rating it a 4.5 stars.

Insta Love Romance.

I nearly didn’t finish this book as certain parts were doing my head in, but it picked up a bit around half way. The story is told in multi POVs, three to be exact. One is the matchmaker and the others are the couple. The story was ok, two people from a match making agency go on some dates. It’s as simple as that really. Both seem to either find trouble or it finds them and they help those in need along the way to them finding their HEA. To be honest, I feel this was played up and I hated they considered themselves as hero’s. I had a lot of eye rolling through out, and skimmed the repetitive parts but my favourite section of this book was the second date and the attention to detail Jeremy went to. It was the only time I felt invested in their plight.

This is a good book and fan to read. Jeremy and Crystal first met by saving a person from the beer truck. Both did not have time to know each other but left impressions to each other. Jeremy was looking for the one and so was Crystal. Ashley, friend of Jeremy owned a matchmaking business. What a coincident, she saw Crystal in the coffee shop where a drunk lady accidentally tripped the lighted candle on the table and hair caught fire. Crystal pour water without hesitating poured water. Ashley approached Crystal before she disappears and offer her matchmaking business card. Jeremy and Crystal finally met and it was love at first sight. They went on a date and the twist on the date made it interesting and they ended up setting their wedding. I loved their happy ending except the story put doubt on Ashley and Laizer's relationship.

The author is a good writer and has good world building skills. The main characters didn't spend much time together at all. I was very dissapointed about this. It felt very short and I really feel more story should have been written. The book is currently free on Bookbub.

The next book in the series is currently $5 and I would have bought it if it were cheaper. If the 2nd book is anything like the first in length and amount of story between the two main characters it shouldn't be any more than $2.99. Hoping the author will bring down the price of book 2 as what I did see of the secondary characters, who are now getting their own books, I would like to read their stories - but not at that high of a price.

Fantastic romance!

This story was beautiful! The hero and heroine are well matched--both are physically attracted to each other, both are successful in their careers, both are hero-minded.

They meet doing a rescue, but don't get each other's names, much less numbers. Wonderfully, they get put together by the matchmaker for a coffee, and then go on a second date. And then happily ever after. And it happens! My husband and I met on the 6th, engaged in the 31st, and married 3 months later. Going on 28 years now. This story made me laugh and sob (my teenage son was worried enough to give me a hug!), and I highly recommend it.

Contains 1 sex scene, very little profanity, and 1 gunshot scene. I can't in good conscience rate books with sex higher than 4.

Crystal and Jeremy are always saving others, right place wrong time. They save a man together, but she escapes before he can even get her name.

Coincidentally, they both sign up with matchmaker Ashley, and she brings them together. They have some bumps and uncertainties, but connect in spite of all the superfluous stuff.

Jeremy asks Chrystal to marry him on their second date, and she says no, but then he’s shot, and time takes on a new meaning.

Fun premise, with the heroes and their appearances causing some roadblocks. There’s too much emphasis on the trendiness in Seattle and dating rules, things are kind of cold for a romance.

The characters and interesting events make this book, it’s really more of a 2 1/2 star read.

Mr. Accidental Hero: Jeremy is the first book in the Jet City Matchmaker series. Jeremy somehow happens to find himself in the right place at the right time, there to help someone in need. When he tries to help a trucker, he isn't the only one. Crystal also attempts to help. But afterward she disappears into the crowd. When Jeremy's matchmaker friend attempts to set him up, he reluctantly agrees, going into it without knowing anything. To his surprise, it's his mystery woman. Will Jeremy finally get what he's been wanting? Are they really a perfect match? I really enjoyed this story, and I definitely recommend it.

Crystal and Jeremy are both highly successful members of the Seattle business community and both tend to leap in and help whenever they see someone in trouble. Both would like to meet the right person, but business success breeds complications. Both turn to Ashley's Pair Us matchmaker service for help. Before Ashley can work her magic though, they meet saving a man from a burning beer truck, where the chemistry is almost as hot as the fire. When they are "matched" and meet officially, it's an instantaneous attraction that quickly escalates to an engagement. Fun, mostly clean story.

the protagonists are both rich beautiful people that often find themselves saving other people, they meet in an accident were they save a guy from a truck crash, but they don't ask for each other numbers. They both are clients of a matchmaker she "convincingly" has the best business of healthy, normal, pretty rich people looking for love (which I don't believe in but ok) and she matches them together, they have two days were they fall in love and he proposes.

yes. 2 dates.

The second date was fun to read but the book was kinda rushed and convenient. Nothing was relatable or realistic

Short & fast

This read like a novella. Not really sure of the page\word count, but flew by. Instant love and marriage proposal by second date. It was a little confusing because this was the first in the series but I can only assume it's a spin-off. There were storylines and characters that seemed to have already been introduced...just not here. It was an ok read but don't think I'll continue the series.

Quick & Sweet Story

It was quite refreshing to read this story. It wasn't dark, twisted or about extremely damaged people that can't manage a relationship (not that I don't like those). But it was about two charming characters waking up to love and with a touch of humor. I need to read stories like these every once in a while that focus more on actual romance and strong connection. Ashley and the other supporting cast was pretty charming and fun.

I am giving this 3 starts because I didn't know it was part or continuation of a previous series. I think more background would have made the story a little more enjoyable.

Besides that, it was a super cute story, with the "main" characters really just secondary characters to Ashley, who is the real main character. This was a quick, fun read that made me laugh. I will check out the other books written by Ms. Robinson.

One book not to miss. The characters Jeremy and Chrystal sizzle on the pages. Lots of chemistry between the main characters. I was turning the pages as fast as I could. This series is one that will keep me one clicking. Great so see the old gang again.
Gina delivered once again. Excellent job in making me feel the sparks.

Super cute but quick read.

I loved that Jeremy ran into the love of his life. But then didn't get her name! This was a cute quick story of how bachelor 2 of 4 found love with Ashley's help.

Crystal was sweet too! Although I would have liked to know a little more about her.

Their story was perfect and totally by accident. Excited to see what more is in store for these guys!

It's book one, but it's heavily based on previous series. Lots of remember when's at every opportunity. There was no real grit to the story, it was just a leisurely stroll thru a very fast and predictable relationship, with a *bad thing happened here* at the end to try and spice it up.

Not the worst book I've read by far, but it was a bit of a struggle to bother finishing it.

Humorous read. He is as the cover says just there when accidents happen, he’s not out to save the world, just bits of it.

He meets her and they help save someone together, but what neither of them realised is that would be matched as a couple.

I enjoyed reading it, it was fun. Happy go lucky sort of romance

Loved Jeremy's story.

This was another great story about my favorite billionaires. I was so happy this was a complete book and not serialized chapters. There was a better chance to get into the characters.

A fun-loving fast paced adventure filled story of unintentional heroes finding love in an unlikely circumstance. Throw in a match-making angle, a date or two and some witty banter and the results are blindingly spectacular.

Adorable book!

This was a sweet book about a Matchmaker setting up two people that had inadvertently met while rescuing a truck driver from his burning truck. It had all the elements a romantic book needs.

Nice

This is the first story I’ve read by this author. I’m not particularly fond of this narrative style, but did enjoy the story. I am wondering, though, what happened to the case of beer and other goodies, besides the special coaster.

This was one of those books. That make me shake my head. I'm not into books. Where he says his part for a bunch of pages. Then you hear her part. For some pages. Back and forth. Oh well.
