Glad I borrowed this from the library, I don't feel it's worth paying £50+ for a second hand copy. It's a good book with some good info but much of it is quite dated now and the same information can be found in other books. It would be nice to see an updated version released though as the author does explain things well.
Also, what the heck is a 'patter'? The author uses this word throughout but I'm never quite sure whether she's referring to a puff or a sponge or something else entirely and it isn't in the glossary.
