The Hero: Carter - he is a jaguar shifter, he was like a prince, that has left his family since his father was the king that ruled with an iron fist. He after a lone jaguar shifter woman that he is trying to get to know, since he scented her and is ready for a relationship. She was the only jaguar shifter he had scented in years. However, he finds a beautiful girl that has no idea the supernatural exists. Carter is in a misfit pack of shifters, vampires, valkyries and werewolves. The math professor at the university is the alpha of the pack and is married to the only girl Carter ever loved.
The heroine: Katya - she attends the local college and lives with her single mom and sister in a mysterious place that they own, which was an old mansion converted to a hotel. Her mom was given the hotel by her father when he died. She attended the local college and meets Carter on her way to class one day. She can’t get him off of her mind after she meets him. Katya is on the college volleyball team and is currently fighting with her identical twin sister Alley who cheers at the volleyball games.
The Story: Carter continued to follow Katya around. He knew Jaguar shifter families were full of jerks and if one found her, she may end up in a sticky situation since many jaguar families would force a lone jaguar into their family and wouldn’t let her go without bloodshed. That was how he got away from his family. He finds out that Katya and Alley are identical twins, yet only Katya is a jaguar shifter since their dad was a jaguar shifter before he died. So, when another Jaguar shifter alpha comes to stay at the hotel, he knows he has to stay to protect her.
The story was good and was full of mysteries, mostly about Katya and Alley’s father. He was murdered though Katya still wanted to find out more about her family even though her mother told her that her Dad told her his family was dangerous. When her father's family shows up at the hotel, things get dangerous for Katya. The story is actually pretty good, and I liked all the mystery.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Rudy Sanda and Elise Arsenault. Rudy has a nice deep voice but is more of a reader than a narrator. Though he doesn’t do a bad job. Elise has a pleasant feminine voice that is clear and a bit loud.

Oh, Man I am addicted. I love these paranormal characters. The witches, the shifters, the trolls, and all the rest…I just cannot get enough. Stacy Claflin has me hooked on this wonderful series.
This is Carters story. It is the story of his needing to find the lone jaguar shifter that is hiding in his town. He can scent her, he knows she is there, and he knows she is someone who he has to meet. Then he meets her, he finds out that her life has been kept from her and she has no idea who she is. Katya is a challenge for Carter and he is definitely up for it.
I love that the characters from the other books in this series make appearances throughout this story. It is fun to catch up on what they are doing now, how their families are, and see how devoted they still are to their pack.
As a fan of Stacy Claflin and this series I definitely recommend picking up your own copy and enjoying their story.

I received an ARC for my honest opinion.
I was truly excited to hear there was going to be a book on Carter Jag. He was one of my least favorite characters, but throughout this book he became my favorite.
Who has Carter been searching for? He has been searching a long time for the lone female jaguar and has finally found her, but will he give love a try (again)? When his runs into Katya, his life is changed for the better. She is strong and independent and will not take no for an answer. Unfortunately, she has no idea she is a jaguar shifter. It's up to Carter (and Che) to help her figure out exactly what she is because all heck is going to break loose in her life. Is she strong enough to believe that the supernatural world is real or will she just blow Carter off?
This one is probably the best out of all the series. I loved the rest of the series, but was very excited that this book focused more on a different character and not the same from the past books.

I have been provided with a copy of Secret Jaguar by the author for an impartial review. This is the sixth and final book in the Curse of the Moon series and I am sad to see this series end. Even though this is the sixth book it is a standalone title and can be read at any point throughout the series without any confusion. This book focuses on Carter who we met in the first book in the series Lost Wolf. I just loved that Carter finally got his own book and I just loved getting to see him interact with Katya Pelletier and her family that bring a whole new set of problems to town. This book was just so easy to get lost in and I just didn’t want to put it down. I just couldn’t get enough of it and I was sad to turn the last page. This series has just been wonderful and I have just fell in love with all of these amazing characters. I hope the author will revisit them and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

A good continuation of the Curse of the Moon series. Lots of suspense combined with romance in a well-written shifter adventure. There's a mystery to the hotel where heroine Katya and her family live. Added to that is the secret about her father's family that has now surfaced and puts her in danger. The hero, Carter, is ready for a new relationship. He's protective and supportive, a good guy to have around. The varied group of paranormals that live with college professor Toby in the books of the series are back, this time ready to join with witches, dragons and a former troll king to protect Katya and fight a jaguar army, if need be, and the climax includes an all-out battle that tests them all.

Secret Jaguar is the 6th book in the Curse of the Moon series by Stacy Claflin. This installment has maintained the same quality as the rest of the series.
This book focused on Carter and his hunt for a lone female jaguar. I thought the series had ended with the last book, Cursed Wolf, so I was pleased when I realized Secret Jaguar is a continuation of the series rather than the start a completely new series. Carter is the lead, but there were many familiar characters in the book that help him.
This can be read as a standalone book, but reading the earlier books fills in a lot of the background about Carter and his family.

I do love Stacy Calvin's books - they're just so good! I've loved the Wolf series she just finished, was looking forward to Carter getting to be the main character in this instalment.
Again it's a read that I got hooked on. It's fast paced, easy reading - and you really get invested in the characters. They're quite quick reads for me, usually through them in a couple of sittings, but that doesn't take anything away from enjoying them.
Eagerly anticipating Soliel's series - the Valkyrie is one of my favourite characters from the original series.
Definitely recommend reading if you haven't already.

Carter is a jaguar who is trying to protect a lone female Jaguar who doesn't know she is a shifter. Katya is a girl who lives in a hotel with her mom and twin sister while attending college. Her father passed away when she was young and she is just trying to live like a normal teenager until Carter shows up.
While trying to be a normal teenager, Katya wants to find out if the hotel has a secret wing and does not give up on this idea. Even when trying to stay safe from her "family" who wants to do her harm.
It is a perfect amount of romance and action.

I have really enjoyed this series and glad Carter go his own book. I have twin daughters so I loved that aspect of the book. Katya is such a sassy, strong, and sweet young lady. Carter has been searching for her (without knowing it's her) for a long time. His family is so evil and crazy. The first scene in the hotel with him and Katya and her twin was pretty funny. Not only is this a romance but a mystery and another battle. Can't wait for book 7!!!

I cant get enough!
From the first books Stacy Claflin has written, I was hooked and have read every book of hers...and the books in series with other authors, she is truly an amazing author! I love how these books (the paranormal series') all tie in together. I love knowing that the characters from her first book still have an influence in the rest of the series and soon off series.

I received Secret Jaguar as a free ebook from the author. The gifting did not determine the review/rating, which reflects my honest opinion. I'll admit, I'm a fan of this series and the characters who make up this unique pack of supernaturals. While Secret Jaguar could have been a bit more complex to add some tension to the plot, I love Carter and Katya enough to bump my 4.5 rating upwards.

Katya is a jaguar shifter and never knew it. Carter is a jaguar shifter who will protect her at all costs. Imagine your life turning completely upside down in the blink of an eye. I like this story because it is a story about how some family may be blood but sometimes your real family is the one you choose. Love it.

Amazing
This book was so much fun to read! I really enjoyed getting a deeper and more personal insight into Carter and his life. He deserved to find love after everything he went through. I wish he had his own series. Maybe there's a chance for that in the future! Thank you Stacy Claflin for this amazing book and I can't wait to read Soilei's series next.

This is an interesting mystery, romance, action book. It has some steamy spots but this really clean and i"m picky about that. Works as a stand-alone or sixth book in the series. Either way, it works really well. I would make more sense if read in the sixth spot in the series though. I was hoping Carter would have a story.

It was so shocking about her being a twin and her finding family that was lost but really wasn't all these yrs. I didn't care 4 the 2 wolf born 2 die especially being so young. It's awesome that every x sumo new needs help everyone shows up and kicks ass a lot lol

It was nice getting to finally have some Carter time. But I wish to know more with the hotel and Katya's Dad. Also now I want to know more with Josh. Also I felt the fight was a bit rushed. Though I can't wait to start reading about Soliel.
