It had been years since he had locked himself away in that old manor house. After what happened all those years ago, the reality of the outside world had become too harsh and painful to endure. Seeing everyone else move on with their lives, while he lingered in an emotional purgatory was agonizing.

His bitterness slowly crept into every corner and crevice of what was once an enchanting family edifice. Eventually, it to, became like him—cold, dark and empty.

With a lot of persistence and some holiday spirit, I knew I could make that place into something special—something whole and nurtured. While I pushed away my Christmas blues and breathed new life into that beautiful old mansion, I couldn’t help but wonder… could the same be said for the man who resided within? What would it take to bring him back to life?

A quick well written read that touches your heart. After all that happened years ago he has shut himself away from the world. She is desperately in need for a venue when she happens across his estate. She wont take no for an answer. He doesn't want to be bothered.

Cute fast read from this author who even in a short read still grabs your heart in all the right places.

I succumbed to the free advertisement on Facebook for this book. And it was okay overall, but the problem with short novels is that I don't connect well with the characters. Everything moved crazy fast and I just want a fan, sadly.

The book had a great message about not giving up and always looking on the bright side, so I appreciated that.

What a beautiful book Alexa was about to spend her first Christmas in her new place along with her new job . She was given the task of finding a venue for the office Christmas party. During her search she was pointed to a manor that to her was perfect , but the owner Dorian was a very sad and not receptive to her using the manor. When he was a young boy his parents were killed in a car crash in which he survived . Read this sad but eventually happy story where Alexa was able to help bring Dorian back to happiness .

A romantic and quick Christmas tale. 💞💓🎄❄️💞

Alexa has been given the task of finding a suitable setting for the office Christmas party. Being the new one to the company, she knows it has to be perfect for her boss or things might now work out for her at her new job. So when she stumbles upon the perfect venue, she wanders on to the grounds to look it over. The owner, Dorian, wants nothing to do with anyone including Alexa and tells her to leave. But Alexa can't seem to get the house or Dorian off her mind. 💗🔥💕

This is a very well written and developed story that will pull you in and hold your attention until the very end. 🥰

She brings him more than holiday spirit

The Winter Manor is the debut book by Emily Blythe and is a sweet holiday novella as a take on Beauty and the Beast. The book is nicely written with interesting details to keep you reading.

Alexa is chosen by her boss to find a place for the company Christmas party. During her search she finds a beautiful manor that is lifeless and thinks it could be the perfect place. Once inside she is met by a handsome slightly unkempt man named Dorian Roth. Once Alexa reads about his tragic childhood she decides she is going to breathe life back into the manor. As she does, she helps him heal and they find their Christmas romance.

Warning once you start reading you won't want to put it down. Alexa is tasked with the job of finding a place to have the company Christmas party. Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Alexa is looking a place to hold a Christmas party, that is when she spots a beautiful place. Dorian is a recluse, he had a bad childhood an believes being away from people is better. Alexa wants to help him cheer up.

Well-written Holiday Romance that has a history in Holiday tragedy. Dorian is locked away until Alexa starts to thaw him out through her Holiday spirit. Can these emotionally blossoming Characters achieve a Holiday HEA or will the Grinch Spirit steal his way back into their lives. Great story
