The God of the Second Chance

Rate this book
Have you ever wanted to just turn the page and begin again, to have a fresh start and not be mired in the mistakes of the past? God gives us that opportunity! In this enlightening and encouraging book, Greg Laurie focuses on the parable of the prodigal son as he takes a fresh look at why God gives us second chances. Sections include "The God of Forgiveness," "The Making of a Prodigal," "You Can Have a Second Chance," and "Making Good on Your Second Chance." This is a great book for new believers who are trying to grasp the concept of divine forgiveness and for anyone who might have some gaps in their knowledge of God's redeeming love.

So many things to ponder. A nice refresh for a Christian and a good book for exploring Christianity.

This book came at the perfect in my life (a few years ago) when I was not really doing well in my Christian walk. I was just getting by, living a luke warm existence. Thank God for Greg Laurie; his book encouraged me to get back into an intimate day to day relationship with the Lord. The Lord is never far away and always hears our cry for forgiveness. The God of Second Chances gave me the beautiful gift of giving it one more try. To not give up!
