Two Skeletons on the Telephone by Paula Duggans is a creepy, quirky delight! Each poem brings a vivid mix of humor and horror, turning spooky moments into playful fun. With imaginative titles like “Mr. One Leg” and “If You’re Strolling in a Sewer,” this collection is perfect for readers who enjoy a touch of the ghastly wrapped in clever, catchy verses. A fun and eerie read!

I love this book of poems. It's full of whitty rhymes and child friendly rude humor (burping, farting, etc.) that children will find hilarious. Not only are the poems funny, but the pictures are fascinating. They are similar to the style used in the movie, Nightmare Before Christmas.

This book could be used during a poetry unit to show a variety of different ways to write poems.

Poems about skeletons, rats, vampires and other strange things, all set in the city. I think this would an interesting approach to Halloween type poems and some of them were pretty funny, but I couldn't really get into the poems. So the book was alright, but I wasn't into it much.
