Kalapuikko-Kalle, tunnettu taidevaras, on nähty liikkuvan alueella. Konstaapeli Katti ja Ylikonstaapeli Mouru päättävät lähteä vartioimaan taidemuseota kaiken varalta, mutta päätyvätkin huimaan takaa-ajoon taidevarkaan perässä.
Tämä kuvakirja toi mieleeni tv-sarja COPS:in.

Police Car on Patrol by Peter Bently and illustrated by Martha Lightfoot
Constable Kitt and Sergeant Mogg receive an alert that Fishfinger Fred the art thief is in town. With the help of their trusty police car and all their police colleagues and their vehicles, Fishfinger Fred may be foiled at last. The bright and detailed illustrations meld beautifully with the adventurous text.

Very precise and accurate for a picture book about a police chase. Martha Lightfoot's illustrations and remind me of Axel Sheffler's (but just don't have the emotion he is able to add!)
