Holiday with Mr. Holiday that cannot be forgotten
This is my first book from Ellie Danes, which I received as an ARC for the exchange of an honest review. Its a simple and well written beautiful love story in which both leads goes under their emotional breakdown. This book has everything; love, caring, heartbreaks and finally an happily ever after. Niles Holiday calls off his marriage as his fiance's love is only materialized and not emotional. After few months to have a clear mind on the day when his marriage was actually fixed, he leave for this hometown to spend his holiday with his parents. His friend, Mason Asher, who is a match maker plans to fix him up and date which he fails miserably and meets Emily. Emily, a waitress and a bartender, who dreams to own a house and start her own bakery with her brother. She helps him to handle his date but he inwardly attracts towards her and asks her for a date. But when his time to return to New York arrives, he have to leave her heartbroken. When he realizes and tries to get back to her, everything has already fallen up. But when there is a Matchmaker in the story, he wouldn't let them part their ways without helping them to reach their destiny.

Niles Holiday wanted to escape from the day he would've been getting married so he returns to his hometown. When an old friend offers to match him up with a woman while he is in town sets off a chain reaction of bad dates. Its while on these dates that Niles meets Emily. Emily is working as a waitress as well as a bartender to save money for her and her brother to get their bakery open. When she sees Niles failing miserably during a date she offers some assistance when he date goes to the ladies room. This sets the tone between them for half the book. Niles is attracted to Emily but she already turned him down once he wasn't sure if he should try again until an awful date took out her anger on Emily. After that everything changed. Niles and Emily saw each other whenever they could however Emily didn't know was that he still planned to leave after the holidays. Will Niles stay for Emily?

This was a great holiday story. The chemistry between the characters was amazing and the story was well written. If you haven't picked this book up yet you really should.

A Holiday to Remember is a quick read packed with a well developed story. So many times I feel like a shorter novel misses the mark somewhere, whether it be character development, story line, or dialog , something is usually lacking. Not so with this book. I really liked Emily and Niles, Mason might want to consider a different career path though...how is he successful? ;) though definitely not erotica, there are some steamy scenes to keep things going. Easily read this in one sitting, and look forward to reading more from Ellie Danes. Overall this is a good holiday read that I would recommend.

What a great and fun holiday read! I really enjoyed this book from Ellie Danes and had a few laughs along the way. It was fun seeing the pitfalls of dating from a mans perspective. The chemistry was hot and depth of emotions from the mains was really well developed. Really great holiday story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Niles Holiday was determined to escape his small town and now find himself returning to escape memories. Emily Grey moved to Connecticut with her brother determined to someday open her own bakery. Little by little they become close. Will Emily take the chance at love again? Will Niles be able to find someone he can relax and talk to?

I thought this was a cute read. Loved how these two develop a friendship first, despite their attraction. I think that due to their pasts both were quick to jump the gun and go to worst case scenarios. I loved how Emily was determined to help him and that Niles was determined to go for more than just looks. Good read!

This was a nice romance that I truly enjoyed reading. Niles is attempting to mend his broken heart and goes home the weekend he was supposed to get married. He runs into an old friend whose current occupation is matching. Every single date Niles goes on seems to flop. The waitress at the restaurant seems to notice and offers him advice. But she is the one that he wants.
This ended up being a great book with an unexpected ending and I enjoyed reading it. It was the first book I read by Ellie Danes and I am sure I will read more in the future.

Niles, a billionaire had a change of heart and called off his engagement and moved back home to be closer to his parents. His best friend owns a dating service and he lets him set him up. Most of his dates are at the only nice restaurant in town and they are are flops. Emily is new in town and a waitress at the restaurant. After witnessing his dates, she offers some dating advice. Their attraction blossoms and their chemistry is hot. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The epilogue was very welcomed and gives the story more to it and finished it better of. There are laughs, drama, family issues, passion, emotions, hot scenes, and lots of chemistry in this story.
I like the main characters and how they develop. I like that Niles and Danica are so likeable and relatable. A very nice storyline and plot.

Another holiday romance from Ellie Danes, this time introducing Niles and Emily.

Niles has returned to his hometown to get over his cancelled wedding. Emily has recently moved there to save up and start her own business.

Niles tried to move on by going on a series of dates at the restaurant where Emily is working. He soon realises he’d rather date the beautiful waitress who’s been giving him dating tips.

It’s a sweet romance which isn’t complete without a misunderstanding or two along the way, but they get their HEA in the end. An enjoyable way to pass the afternoon.

This story was a great surprise. Yes it did take place over the holidays, but, the hero's last name is Holiday. He is very memorable, definitely a character I would like to read more about. Reading about couples that had been put together by the matchmaker was very entertaining. I would love to read more about this couple.

I am also curious to find out if the bakery ever became a reality.

Niles went back to visit his parents. Determined to put his broken relationship behind him. Emily was so busy working. Trying to raise money so she could live her dream. When the handsome Niles comes to town there is something about him. Two people looking for a HEA but not sure what that is. I enjoyed their story reading as they both figured out what their heart felt all along. Only thing I wish was an epilogue showing them in the future.

This a short story with some drama. Niles is trying to plan the perfect weekend with his new girlfriend Emily. However, his ex fiance thinks that he is better for her. Through secrets and miscommunications, Niles and Emily almost have a relationship ending catastrophe. Emily is a little unsure of Niles. She knows he hiding something and it makes her doubt him. However, She sticks by him and work things out when necessary. Cute romantic story.

This is such a cute story. All of the different dating disasters Niles goes through with Emily giving him pointer, each knowing they'd rather be with each other but she's keeping him at arms length. Mason knows exactly how to fix it though, and they finally get their HEA. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Loved it

I really enjoyed this story! It was sweet and sexy and charming. Niles and Emily were very enjoyable and engaging characters. I really liked that Niles was not a playboy, he was just a regular guy looking for that one special someone! Very enjoyable Christmas read!
