Interesting book about the early eccentrics of this country. short biographies of New England people include hermits, unruly women, healers, mesmerists, fortune-tellers, prophets and bandits to name a few. Some chapters seem to be too long but a few are so interesting they are much too short. Interesting look into the lives of early New Englanders.
