Color and its many meanings are presented in culturally specific terms, encouraging students to appreciate the power that color holds over different societies. Fascinating overview of color with great attention to its use in art history, as well as scientific explanations of perception and color theory. My one fault is that this book repeats itself, a lot. I can't count the number of times the primary colors were listed.
