Miguel Delgado fell hard the first time he saw a beautiful woman on stage during a karaoke competition at a bar in Ecuador. Interested in a short, casual affair, he turns on the charm. But she won’t give him the time of day.
Samirah Jamison has met her match—in the form of a tall, hard-bodied sculptor who won’t leave her alone. She’s not running scared. She’s just trying to keep a level head and stay out of trouble for once. But it’s really, really hard to be good…when you’re used to being bad.

THOUGHTS
I really enjoyed the Hot Latin Men series as this is the third book in the series. I enjoyed the brief moments I got to know Samirah from book two, as we followed her sister, Rebekah and her story. This story flowed well but I felt it was ok. Although I was engrossed with the characters and the location, for me personally, the storyline had a simplicity to it that stayed at the same level throughout the story. It neither peaked nor declined. However, I still very much wanted to read more about the characters as I got to know them. Samirah and Miguel's chemistry was no doubt delicious as their affair in Ecuador was a bit exciting as well. I enjoyed reading about Rebekah and Rafael again as they are still happily married with beautiful kids.
Nevertheless, I still like the author's style of books and writing.
Length: 123 pg. Storyline: FAIR Enjoyment: GOOD Intimacy Level: GOOD
There are very few multicultural authors that can create an Alpha male that leaps off the page and exude a captivating, raw masculinity, but Ms. Diamond excels at the task.
Miguel Delgado, a tall, handsome sculptor that turns female heads effortlessly, ignites some very passionate moments in 'Private Acts'. You'll find yourself envious of Samirah Jamison, every time he gathers her into his arms. This novel is a wonderful read; the pacing, characters, and dialogue make you feel like a voyeur to a superb love story. Forget reality TV programs with people trying to find love in the media, Ms. Diamond's 'Private Acts' will have you dreaming of an Ecuadoran vacation with your own Telenovela star. Her words and your imagination will be all you need to be transported into a steamy romance.
'Private Acts' is a sensual read with a message; you cannot create space for a meaningful love in your future, if you're limiting your heart because of the past. The troubled youth of the hero and the previous heartbreak of the heroine are so realistic and poignant that readers will pull for them to put down roots and add vivid colors of undying love to their solitary existence. This couple is evenly matched in temperament, wit, and passion and Ms. Diamond waste no time in showing readers why she's shines in this genre.
Part of the Latin Lover series, story focuses on the hot, sultry affair in Ecuador. Miguel is a visiting art sculptor and Samirah is an out-of-work housemaid/cook on a temporary visa. They both promised that this would be a fling, something fun while she was in town.
Samirah doesn’t want to get involved, not since her last humiliating affair with her boss. So what if Miguel was only the hottest Latino she’d ever laid eyes on?
The chemistry between the two was sizzling. I loved how Samirah described herself as a “citizen of the world” because of all her travels. How awesome is that?
This was a very good book, loved the characters and the story. It was good to see Rebekah and Rafael again. I enjoyed reading all the books in this series they were all very good books. I couldn't seem to get enough of them,I'm hoping there will be more books in this series. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who enjoy reading a great romance story. Great job Delaney please keep writing these stories. Thank you.
Brazen, confident and outspoken, Sahmirah gave just as much as she received. She drove Miguel crazy with her smart mouth. But she also taught him how to live instead of just existing. Who said small towns can’t hold big love and huge personalities? Miguel’s and Sahmirahs story was great!
Th story of Samirah and Miguel was a very heartfelt love story. I couldn't put the book down until I was at the end. I recommend this book to everyone who loves romance novels
Samirah Jamison, Rebekah's (Fight for Love), younger sister, is a free spirit. She travels all over the world honing her awesome culinary skills. Unfortunately, Samirah trusted the wrong man and is now soothing her hurt feelings in Ecuador. Her handsome, sculptor neighbor, Miguel catches her trespassing in his pool and Samirah can't wait to see what her punishment will be!
I really really enjoyed this book. I love the fact that the author, Delaney Diamond, is from the USVI since I grew up there. I like the multiculturalism of the story which takes place in Ecuador. There is even a trip to the Galapagos Islands, what's not to love about this book. There is love, passion, misunderstanding, and reconciliation.
Two people with very different personalities meet and fall in love. They are both from different countries . She is very out spoken, talkative, and very independent . He is less talkave and more reserved . An interesting love story.
I enjoyed this book! Samirah and Miguel story was so cute. He was everything and than some!! She aggy at times, but nevertheless, the book was awesome!!! Delaney Diamond never disappointed me❤❤❤
I'm enjoying this Latin Men series. I love the diversity, their language, and their dedication to their women and family. Miguel and Samirah are great together. He had it rough growing up, but he is a great hero. Miguel was bossy, and Samirah's smart mouth drove Miguel crazy. Samira is fun-loving, sexy, confident, outspoken, and a woman of the world. They both have things in their past that hurt, but their chemistry, and love make what they feel for each other extra special. I love Miguel's love and dedication to his brother Aaron and wanting to do the right thing for him. The language of love can be the window to our hearts and soul. I so love the journey the author takes us on through the different countries and nationalities of our heroes and heroines, as well as having our previous favorites Rafael and Rebekah a part of this beautiful love story.
This Latin series is really captivating, what I mostly love about it , the men are successful men and at the same time so down to earth, well Leonardo wasn’t too humble but he loved his woman even though his love language was expensive gifts not words. Anyway, Miguel, is y beautiful soul , he didn’t think Samarah would be happy in his small little town, but when a woman truly loved a man, place don’t matter, he is her home . Love it !!
Samirah and Miguel...this is a short love story but surprisingly good. Well not so surprised because Delaney Diamond writes great stories. Their relationship starts off hot almost from the beginning and only gets better. Of course there's a little hiccup along the way but nothing they can't overcome.
I loved "Private Acts!" Miguel lived up to the "Hot Latin Men" title with a vengeance! He fell hard for Samirah at first site. Intent on only a brief affair, Miguel found himself not wanting to be apart from Samirah's free spirit and air of happiness. Excellent read!
I really enjoyed Samirah and Miguel's story. Samirah said some things in the beginning that led Miguel to believe she didn't want to put down roots anywhere. In the end they straightened everything out of course. I truly loved this story!
The "Latin Men" series is fiya! This author creates male and female characters appropriately for each book and series. She makes the story enjoyable and captivates me. The book ensnares and fascinated with the sex scenes as well as the bold mall scene.
This was a decent story. It kept my attention. Miguel & Samirah met at a bar, she rejected him that night. They met again the next day when she was caught trespassing in his swimming pool.
This is a very good book! I love this Latin man (well I love them all). Sam & Miguel were hot together! The scene on the car is couple goals! I am happy Aaron was given to his brother, mom was a trip! A very good book!
Fabulous story! Great couple with a road to romance that was great to read. I loved the writing, the characters and the engagement with the couple from the last book.
