This is book two of the international bestselling, Dr. Stanton series.
Follow the next five years for Cameron Stanton and Ashley Tucker ...
If happiness is a gift. Then Cameron Stanton is my Santa Claus.
I can’t tell you the exact moment I fell in love with him. Only that I did. With every glance, every touch, every minute …. he stole a little more of me.
They say that all men are created equal. Well that’s a blatant lie!
I know because I met Gods gift to women in Vegas, I pretended he was my husband to get rid of another man.
He took our fake marriage seriously and it became his personal goal to consummate.
He spoke to me in French and I lied to him in German. His laughter was addictive.
But I thought what happens in Vegas would stay in Vegas. Until it didn't. Dr. Stanton turned up where I least expected and my lies came back to haunt me.
The attraction is palpable. The secrets unchangeable. I need him more than air.
This is the Epilogue to Dr Stanton, a contemporary romance.

I had issues with the previous book mainly with Ashley. But I do love a good epilogue and seriously what could possibly go wrong with a HEA epilogue?
In a word the answer would be Ashley.
I’m not saying her life has been easy. And yes I’m aware this is just a romance read. But she has the man of her dreams, his child and she’s doing the job she dreamed about. It’s safe to things things have definitely improved for her.
Cameron was great in this book with the exception of a little sulking (but then he’s a man so it goes with the territory) he was wonderful.
So Cameron wants to propose and he wants it to be special. Finally he comes across the perfect plan now all he has to do is get her there and surprise her.
Ashley is too busy to go away with him but tells him to go with Owen. When he tells her it’s just a weekend she tells him to have fun.
Now yes she’s busy, incredibly busy I understand that. But she’s not too busy to take on a huge project. She insists they take on this mammoth task as a family. Yes Cameron sulks but I’d sulk as well if she couldn’t even spare a weekend a few pages back and now she’s taking on a project that could last years.
I’m all about the romance and while this won me over in the end I just wanted Cameron to make a run for it early on.
The end of the book is beautiful but I’ll admit I could have done without Ashley early on.
Title: Dr. Stanton's The Epilogue Author: T L Swan Genre: Contemporary Romance Publication Date: November 19, 2017
Who loved Grey's Anatomy?! Me! Dr. Stanton was THE McDreamy in book form. I love the book Dr. Stanton to bits and lo and behold... The Epilogue Ladies and Gentlemen! This book made me miss Cameron and Ashley's crazy stupid love even more! The Epilogue was such a fun book! It was fun and loving one second, hot and heavy the other and F****g hilarious the next. I loved this book so much!
The Epilogue had EVERYTHING I wanted from this couple! I will never be immune to Cameron's charm (especially when he wears his suit) *Sigh* The whole gang (The Stanton series) is back and they are a hoot! I could not stop laughing during the scene where Adrian was 'panting' along with Ashley during her contractions... That was hilarious!!!! And it still makes me laugh whenever I think about it....
This novella was truly the icing on the cake for this saga. Now, Where can I find a Dr.Stanton for myself? lol
I wasn’t a huge fan of the first book, but this was actually really great! It was everything that I actually liked about the first book, without all the annoying bits. It was sweet, romantic, steamy and funny. There was still an inordinate amount of smirking and faces falling all over the place, but those things weren’t as bad now that the characters weren’t annoying the f*ck out of me.
You blew it! You were writing about an American girl and you assigned her Australian language, coiloquilisms! Further, I loved Cameron in Joshua's story, but grew to hate him in this...you made him selfish, self-centered, narcissistic, and mean, and Ashley so needy she overlooked his many inadequacies.
Even Joshua was an ass. These characters you built up so well in earlier BOOKS became arrogant, entitled, and incapable of empathy!
4 stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a delicious, fun and low angst continuation of Ashley and Cameron's story including their wedding. I probably enjoyed it even more than the first book.
I only read this because I had literally nothing else to read.
Unsurprisingly, it was just as horrible as the first book so at least there’s consistency I guess.
To start, Cameron wasn’t too bad in this epilogue. He was irritating but I was able to look past it, until it got to the anal sex scene.....
“This isn’t up for discussion, Ashley.”
“You’re my wife.” “And I’m taking what’s mine. Today.”
“I want you to want to please me and give me what I need.”
Uh....this is rape, your honor.
I’m sure people with no morals will excuse this and say Ashley wanted it, deep down, and just needed a little encouragement. But he was not encouraging at all, he was being entitled and demanding. This is fictional, so obviously Ashley’s response was more positive. But in real life, this would 100% frighten anyone and make them feel like “no” was not an option.
I truly thought Ashley was pregnant for the first half of this novella. I couldn't understand why she was so moody. She yelled at her kid and cursed at the man of her dreams often. I was over her. It also irritates me when the setting is in one country and the author uses words from a different country, i.e...rubbish/garbage, lift/elevator, solicitor/lawyer. I had to use context clues to determine what a solicitor was.🤣🤣
This was a fun, sweet read that detailed Cameron, and Ashley’s wedding and a few other neat things along the way! I truly enjoyed the fun joking banter between this couple—the elevator scenarios were just too funny! I love a good practical joke, and they brought them! Loved Cam so hard in this book! Off to read Ben, and Bridgets story next, in Marx Girl!
Dr. Stantons The Epilogue is the continuation of Cam and Ash’s story. At the end of the first book, Cam proposed to Ash in Vegas and they were making plans to marry. The epilogues fills in those gaps in their story-why Vegas, what made Cam decide he wanted to marry now, did Owen have any input? What about my beloved Joshua, what role did he play?
The Epilogue is full of steamy, smutty scenes (what else would you expect from Cam?) and lots of romantic gestures. This new Cam is a far cry from the bang ‘em and leave ‘em wanting more Cam from the past. He’s rich, gorgeous, a brilliant surgeon and…what…that’s not enough? Most of all-he’s all Ash’s. The girl he couldn’t forget, the one woman fate decided would be the one woman he needed to complete his life. Owen is the icing on the Stanton cake. He never in his wildest dreams thought his life would take him where it has, and he is no fool. Life has given him a second chance with the woman he loves and he is not going to let her get away again!
I love when authors give us an expanded behind the scenes look at our favorite characters. We aren’t content to close our kindles and move on to the next story. We need more and now we have it!
“You know…I thought I was happy. I thought I had it all figured out. That was, until Ashley walked back into my life with Owen and I found out what true Happiness really was.”
sometimes they both really annoyed me but i liked their ending. it was deserved and honestly all the characters in this book world deserve a good ending. (besides margaret obvi)
Thank you so much to Nicole for recommending this to me! I absolutely loved Cameron even if some of his actions were a bit questionable at times. This book had a great amount of spice and I loved the storyline, I’m not always the biggest fan of accidental pregnancy but in this scenario it really worked. Ashley and Cameron met in a vegas nightclub where he pretend to be her husband and they have a one night stand fast forward 5 years and she’s interning at a hospital and who’s the surgeon she’s interning for? It’s Cam of course! Ashley’s hiding some secrets which will come out eventually. I also loved the extended epilogue book too I devoured both of these books in the same day!!
The fact that I happily read a 173 page extended epilogue without skimming a word goes to show how entertaining this couple was. Normally I loose interest once they get together but I wanted to read every one of their special moments. This book isn’t necessary to read the story wraps up nicely in book one but it is cute.
Je suis contente de ne pas l’avoir lu immédiatement après histoire initiale parce que ça m’a permis de faire durer le plaisir. J’adore tellement leur histoire! Trop contente de leur fin♥️
Absolutely loving this author and her work. Her characters are so vibrant, there's a lot of humor alongside moments that make your heart cringe. Just fabulous!!
This novella was the icing on the cake!! I can't get enough of the male characters this author creates (and the female characters are up there with them too!) I fell right back into Cameron and Ashley's world in The Epilogue and enjoyed each and every moment. Cameron is absolutely amazing with his intense protectiveness and his interactions with Owen just melt my heart!
I was on cloud 9 reading this novella and it has me anxiously waiting for Ben and Bridget's story next month!! Ms. Swan is a top favorite author of mine with her ability to create domineering heroes and the heroines they fall for. The writing is always descriptive and full of emotion (read drama) and oh so steamy that I'm glued to the pages and feel like I know these characters and what they are feeling. If you love alpha heroes that are bull headed at times and original story lines, give this author a try!!!
*an ARC of Dr. Stanton's The Epilogue was provided in exchange for an honest review*
Cameron has to steal moments when he can, “I think I’ll take my tonight *** now, thanks.” He bites my neck. “Tonight’s looking sketchy.” Cameron always has his woman on his mind, "his eyes dance with mischief. “I’ll be sowing a few more seeds this week for that matter.” I loved this book, I loved seeing Ashley and Cameron again.
I LOVED THIS. especially when they played these games in the elevator and pretended they were cheering on their significant other-even though they were married. everything was perfect can’t think of a think I didn’t like about this:
