I was disappointed that they did not kill the club whore that helped the bad guy kidnap our heroine.

Tish and her best friend Jiji just escaped a violent situation and are heading to Jiji’s older brother Jameson’s MC Clubhouse for his protection. When the girls arrive Jameson “Fighter” is surprised then furious when he realizes the condition of both girls. When he sees Tish, even in the condition she is in, it’s insta-love. Their relationship moves very quickly and their passion is hot! Tish is a strong and sassy heroine. Fighter is your typical, sexy, hardened MC hero with a soft side for his woman. I liked Fighter but Tish is the standout in their story. There are many LOL moments between Tish and Fighter as well as the secondary characters.

As much as I enjoyed reading Fighter’s Claim, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I did find the writing to be a bit choppy and some repetitive/timeline issues that are easily fixed with a strong editor. Because I found them interesting I also would have liked to have seen more of Fighter/Tish time where we could see how their relationship grows outside of sex and maybe a little more back-story.

Fighter’s Claim is a good start for a first book, it’s full of passion, comedy and great characters, and I found it hard to put down. I look forward to reading the rest of the series and watching D.D. Galvani grow as the talented author I suspect she is.

This MC romance gives you one heck of a start, and then just keeps you hooked until the end.

When danger forces Tish and her best friend Jiji on the run, they know the one place they should be safe is with Jiji's brother Fighter. When they wind up on his clubhouse doorstep battered and bruised, the bikers don't turn them away. Tish and Fighter haven't seen each other in years, but that doesn't stop an instant chemistry from flaring. It hits them both hard but with the danger that followed Tish shadowing them, they'll have to put a stop to it if they want any chance at a future.

Fighter was one of those leading men who was against settling down until he meets the one. But the way he treats her once he's got her makes him impossible not to like. He was protective of his little sister, a good friend and just seems overall to be an honorable guy.

Tish was a well put together type of leading lady with a good job and was not suffering from a bunch of emotional or mental baggage. She was a loyal friend which is how she found herself on the run and in need of help. But it's really hard not to love a woman who would do anything to save a friend that she thinks of like a sister. One who in her own way is quite the fighter.

With two great main characters, lots of interesting supporting characters with their own stories I can't wait to read, and a despicable villain or two, this book had plenty of good things to offer. It moved at a nice steady pace to keep me interested and gave me the kind of ending I love. It's definitely one I can recommend to MC romance fans.

I Voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

So this is a new author and for a first time book this was not too bad.

Tish and her best friend Jiji ran away from home after some trouble with Jiji's stepfather. Tish saved her best friend and now they are on the run and on their way to Jiji's brother Fighter for help. The same man that Tish has had a crush on since she was a teenager.

Fighter is member of the Devils Wind MC club. Fighter is the enfourcer fo rthe club and he is all about living his life and spending time with his brothers and his next hookup. So when his sister arrives at the clubhouse all battered and bruised with her best friend he is furious that someone would do that to his family. He will do everything he can to make them pay for what happened to them.
From the minute they show up at the club, Fighter can't help but be attracted to Tish and he has no problem claiming the women he wants. But for them to have their happy ending he needs to eliminate the threat on their lives first before they can move on.

I enjoyed the story and for a first time author it was good. I wanted a bit more drama and a bit more club drama (don't know if that makes sense, lol)
But all in all a good storyline. Will definitely read the next one in this series.

This was a thrilling story. Tish and her best friend Jiji are battered and bruised. They were savagely attacked by Jiji's step father, Tish retaliated and struck back, but now they are on the run to Jiji's brother "Fighter" for his protection.

Fighter is furious when he see's the shape his baby sister Jiji and Tish are in, he wants the man dead, but first he must see to their recovery.
The girls were tight, they'd grown up together and he couldn't help but notice how much Tish had changed, she certainly wasn't a little girl any more, but a young woman that had him wanting to claim as his own. She's an amazing woman, she saved Jiji and herself from hell, she's perfect, now it's his turn to return the favour.

A thrill ride of a story, very exciting. The strength and determination Tish showed was amazing, the girls survival was paramount and they'd suffer anything to reach their goal. Fighter is the usual alpha/biker MC guy, they hate bad guys, especially women beaters, I loved him....great writing. An entertaining story, exciting, suspenseful and very very sexy. I highly recommend it!

3.5, it was oddly addicting. The characters are likable, strong in there own skin and they all mesh really well together. It was insta-love, so that sort of bothered me, but I could look past it because I liked them together. The plot didn't have a lot of depth, but it didn't matter because it was done well.

This is a debut novel from D.D. and I have to say, it's a good start to her new adventure.

I loved Fighter. He is a mix of man, biker and asshole. So, he is a man on a mission and that mission is to save his sister Jiji and her best friend, Tish the woman he has the hots for, from a psycho. The girls have no idea when they first track Jamison, aka Fighter down after they are attacked - what they are actually getting into. A biker hangout is not always as friendly as some would like. The men say what they want and it's not always so easy to curb the language with sensitive ears around.

the girls however adapt, start to belong and in the end, they are a part of the group. Each page brought us closer and closer to the building relationship adn budding love of the lead characters. There were moments when I laughed, snorted adn even shed a few tears.

I'm not a big reader of MC stories, they're just not my thing, but I did enjoy the hell out of this story. I look forward to what DD comes up with next.

I really enjoyed fighters claim by D.D Galvani and I know it wont be the last book of hers I'll have in my kindle especially if we get more characters from the devils wind series . Once the couple come into contact with one another there is no denying the intense attraction between fighter and Tish , they click both protective of the ones they hold close to the vest and the chemistry is magnetic with steamy sex scenes . Tish so selfless , strong, independent, sassy and likable she does something super brave that many would run from which I admired . At first I had no idea how I'd feel about Fighter with how the first couple chapters in his POV went it kinda made me not get a good feeling but once he meets the heroine he becomes very swoon worthy and growly with a side of naughty I'm hoping his sister gets her own story . Can't wait to read more by this author

Fighter's Claim is both the debut novel of author D.D. Galvani, it's also the first novel in a new MC series, and I'm happy to say Ms. Galvani is off a good start with this one. I give this novel 3.75 stars.

I've only recently become a fan of MC romances, and this one starts off like gangbusters, as best friends Tish and Jiji are in really rough shape, and racing to get to Jiji's older brother, Jameson, known as Fighter to the members of the Devils Wind MC, and with good reason. Jiji's foul-mouthed, violent and abusive stepfather, Aden, has just beaten Jiji's mother to death, Jiji is unconscious and lying on the floor, and if Tish hadn't stopped by to see her friend, Jiji would have been beaten and raped by Aden as well. But Tish does stop in, and Aden attacks her too, beating her nearly senseless, breaking her arm and repeatedly kicking her in the ribs while also attempting to rape her. Luckily, for her sake and Jiji's, Tish fights back, wounds Aden, grabs hold of Jiji and the two manage to get into her car and flee. I was hooked by these two brave young women and their plight to get to the safety of Jameson's club in upstate New York--a long drive from their home in Florida, especially considering the shape they're in.

We first meet Fighter in his room at the MC club, in bed with one of the club women. He's a former Marine who, after his tour of duty was up, returned home, but his home and his stepfather's toxic presence in it weren't where he needed to be. Luckily, some of his former Marine buddies had started and joined Devils Wind MC, and it was here that he found the understanding, friendship and camaraderie he was seeking. Tish has had a crush on him since the moment she first met him when she was 14 years old, introduced to him by his little sister Jiji, age 11. During his time in the Marines, Tish made sure to be with Jiji during her weekly Skype session with Jameson, and her crush continued to grow.

When the two battered, beaten and bruised women finally show up at the MC, Jameson and the rest of the club members tend to their many wounds and injuries, vow to seek vengeance against Aden, and also vow to protect Tish and Jiji and keep them safe. To this point in the novel, this is a harrowing, suspense-filled story, but it's once they arrive at Devils Wind where I felt the author floundered just a bit.

First, no sooner does Tish regain consciousness and begin to heal, when the attraction between her and Jameson lights up, and the author certainly can write steamy sex scenes, almost too many of them, in fact. I can totally understand insta-lust. As I mentioned, Tish has had a crush on this man since she was just entering her teens, but when these two get together, Jameson's feelings for Tish seemed a little to much like insta-love to me. Their physical relationship takes up most of the middle section of this book, and the action and possible danger are set aside. There's plenty of graphic sex, and these characters are certainly likable, but there is simply not enough relationship-building between these two.

My only other issue is with the Devils Wind MC itself and its members--they are all just too nice, too kind, too decent and too tame. One of the things I really enjoy about MC romances is how gritty, down and dirty the members can be. They're also usually involved in some sort of criminal activity, or at least some of the MC members are, but not in this novel, where they are flipping houses, operating a gym and a firing range instead, all legitimate enterprises, nor is there any mention of a rival MC club, and the drama and conflict that usually accompany those situations.

The action picks up again towards the latter third of the novel and as far as writing edge-of-your seat suspense, the author certainly succeeded in doing just that. It had all the excitement, graphic violence and intensity I was missing in the middle of the novel, and it certainly packed one heck of a punch.

Since I don't do spoilers, I will let you know that there's an HEA ending, and let you know that this novel is definitely intended for a mature audience. For a first novel, I was impressed with the author's writing skills as well as her ability to set a scene, set up a dramatic situation, and keep the reader in suspense. All in all, Fighter's Claim was quite a good read, it was just lacking some of the drama, angst, intensity and grittiness I've some to expect in MC romances. I'll be following these characters and this series--this new author shows quite a bit of promise.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel. The opinions expressed are my own.

This is D.D. Galvani’s first book and I loved it. What a great way to kick off a series and first book to boot. It is has everything in it. Suspense, drama, love anger, feisty and a downright sexy biker. I loved this first book as I said. The club is a great band of brothers. I will stay to start off there could be some triggers and they are horrific. So be warned. If you can make it through that everything is good.

Let’s start with Jameson “Fighter” Wilks. He is the enforcer of the Devil’s Wind MC, former SART in the Marines. He can have any woman he wants and boy does he have them with the club girls. He hasn’t been home in a while and he has a sister named Jiji. He is strong, fierce, passionate and loves hard. He found his place after not knowing what to do. His sister is everything to him. Since Jiji and Tish have been friends forever that means Tish means everything to him.

Tish is a strong, independent, woman that has a best friend in Jiji and would do anything to protect her. When the unthinkable happens, and she has to fight to save her life, as well as her best friend she does what she has to do. Now they find themselves racing to get to Jiji’s brother, Fighter because Tish’s life depends on it. Tish is one of the strongest women I have ever read, based on what she has just been through because of Aden, Jiji’s stepfather.

This is a quick paced read and times I wanted it faster. I know that sounds crazy but that is where the substance has set in. Fighter hadn't seen his sister or Tish in a while. Tish has had a secret crush on Jameson forever (she refuses to call him Fighter). Fighter first met Tish when she was fourteen years old when she and Jiji became fast friends. He always found her cute with pretty blue eyes. Though he knew she was just a kid. Fast forward and he now sees the woman she is, and in bad shape. The guys of the club all band together to protect their own. That now includes Tish and Jiji. There now that she is older, they have this instant magnetic pull. She means everything to him now. He is beyond livid at what happened to his baby sister and Tish.

I liked all of the MC. They are a great group of guys. You will fall fast and hard just like me. The secondary people are great. There is one person I wanted to throttle within an inch of their life besides Aden.

I really enjoyed this first look into this new series and am anticipating more. I would love to read Jiji and Breech and some others as well. The one and only thing that can’t make this a 5 for me is the really fast bond between Fighter and Tish. It had been so long and it was one of those instant things. All in all, though it is a good book and I will read more in this series for sure.

Join this fast-paced, wild and bumpy suspenseful ride with all the right elements.

Put an MC story in front of me and normally I am a lost cause, totally smitten and almost catatonic unit it is finished but every now and then I find one that whilst it pricks my interest also irks my soul and this was one of those for me.
Don’t get me wrong it was a good read from an author I had never heard of before and I will certainly read the remaining books in the series with absolute devotion but as far as what I would expect from an MC, I think this was erring a little too much on the light side. The intensity of the club just didn’t completely win me over, I got the connection between Tish and her best friend Jiji’s brother; Fighter (not his real name as I am sure you don’t need me to tell you), I just wanted to get a bit more of a connection with the drama that being part of an MC brings to the table.
Jiji and Tish took off when Jiji had a problem with her stepfather that meant being at home was no longer an option, she wasn’t willing to stay put a minute longer so took off with her bestie Tish in tow and headed straight for the protection that her brother Fighter could give her. It didn’t hurt any that Tish had been secretly in love with him for longer than she was willing to admit!
Being the Devil’s Wind MC enforcer is a role that Fighter takes seriously, in fact the club is about all he actually does take seriously ...well that is until his sister JiJi arrives at the club gate looking not only looking like she has gone ten rounds in a pro fight but also looking for the one man that she trusts to protect her…him.
I would have hated to be on the receiving end of the beatdown that was coming in retaliation for the bruises she wore and there was no doubt in my mind that he wouldn’t stop until he had extracted retribution but I couldn’t help but want more…greedy I know!
With regards to Fighter and Tish, from the minute they reconnected, he wasn’t going to let any of his brothers stake a claim, so he laid down his marker fairly swiftly but could he live up to it? Could he make sure that the woman that he claimed as his remained his, could he keep the danger that plagued them all at bay and moreover would Tish want to stay once she had a taste of what life in the club with a man of her own would be like.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read, for me I would have liked a little bit more angst but I won’t hold that against it. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Let me start by saying this is a new author with a first-time book. With that being said, Fighter’s Claim was not that bad for a first book. This story revolves around Tish, her best friend Jiji and Jiji’s brother, Jameson (aka Fighter) and his MC the Devils Wind.

Tish has been friends with Jiji since they were pre-teens. She is on her way to pick up Jiji, whom still lives at home with her mother and stepfather. When Tish arrives to pick her up, she finds herself some trouble with Jiji’s stepfather and rescues Jiji, leaving in a mad dash to go find Fighter. When the girls show up battered and bruised at the MC, Fighter is steaming mad and wants to seek vengeance. However, more pressing matters take priority like getting the girls medical attention and healed.

Tish has always had a crush on Jameson and still finds him extremely attractive. Upon seeing Tish, he realizes that she is no longer the little string bean attached to a mouth, but a woman who is all grown up. He is instantly attracted to her and has no problem ‘claiming’ her publicly and privately. They have a long way to go though, to have that coveted HEA.

For a first-time author/book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. MC books are like crack to me and I can’t get enough of them. There can be good ones and not so good ones. This one falls on the 👍 category. There are a couple very minute issues I have though. The story at times was a little repetitive with just certain sayings/reminders and a little choppy. It is a catch 22, where it was choppy is where it’s repetitive and vice versa. Otherwise, I would happily read the rest of the books as they come out. If you are worried about this being a graphic MC book, you don’t need to be. As far as MC books go, this was like a ‘MC book light’.

Let me.start by saying i absolutely love MC novels. Whether that is a short novella or a full length. There is just something about an MC book that sets my kindle and blood on fire. D.D. Galvani is a new author for me. The reason I love this book is because from page one it grabbed my interest and had me hooked from the very end. Not only does this have the nitty gritty of the MC world but it has strong men willing to open their doors to a couple of outsiders. It has these strong women who will fight to survive. Even the secondary characters didn't even feel like they were secondary. They helped made the book that much better.

Fighter is the strong alpha male that just so happens to be the Enforcer for the Devil’s Wind MC. His job is to make sure everything runs smoothly and kick some butt when he is needed to. He has had his fair share of women, hello his life has been nothing but his club, his brothers, and his sexy as sin bike. His life is perfect, the last thing he needs his his sister and her best friend coming in and disrupting his perfect life. That's right Fighter your life is about to change for the better.

Fighter is an Enforcer for the Devil’s Wind MC. Tish and Jiji have been best friends since the day they met but with life getting the way they have been living their lives separate. When Tish steps in to save Jiji they have only one place to go to feel safe, with Fighter. Showing up battered and bruised isn't the way Tish wants to see Fighter after all these years but what can you do girl. Go with it and hold onto that sexy man and live in his protection.
Watching the two worlds collide is amazing. Tish and Jiji have their own life's back home but Fighter and the Devil’s Wind MC won't let them leave. Okay okay that's not how that sound. I meant they want to protect them from the bad thing trying to get them and if that means moving them and turning their world upside down then so be it.

Let me just say that this book still has a hold of me. Tish is this strong women that stepped up and a healer. She is a nurse. I loved her friendship with Jiji, it reminded me of my friendship with my best friend. Although we never did have to go what they went through. From the first page I was enthralled, i just had to keep reading because i needed to know what was going to happen. Throughout the book I was on the edge of my seat. My heart broke for Tish then knowing she had Jiji around was amazing but but but just as my heart is healing it breaks for Jiji and Fighter. I was laughing with the crew as they have fun and party like Brothers and the loyal family they are. Wondering will they or won't they. Thinking that the other just might leave this book on a cliffhanger. I am happy to say that it isn't. Tish and Fighter are relationship goals. I am just saying. I can't wait for Jiji and Breech, she is a handful.

My latest readings were to MC books and I've already lost count of how many I've read. But it really doesn't matter because I can't get enough of this genre and I'll read as much as I can.
The chance to meet new authors it's a bonus and the more I get to know the more in love with books I get, and this coming from a girl that used to hate reading it says a lot. Just saying.
DD Galvani is a new author to me and what a premier this was. Her writing is raw, simple and detailed, with a little bit of everything to make our reading so much more appealing. Have a look and decide for yourself.
Fighter's Claim is the first books from the Devils Wind MC and tells the stories of Fighter and Tish.
Fighter is the enforcer for this MC and he takes is position very seriously. He's responsible to take care for prospects, to be sure that everything in on tracks and to kick some arse, and he's pretty good at it.
When his little sister and her best friend show up at his door he can't believe his eyes. They are a mess.
Tish only care about her best friend. They know each other for a while and since that day they are inseparable. When Jiji's stepfather attacked them Tish does the only thing she could think of, she defended her best friend but they ended both severely beaten up and on the run for their life's. The only place they think of is Fighter's MC Clubhouse but how will Fighter react when he sees them?
Dayum and what a premier this was... Jesus... It was invigorating...
The plot is very well written, fast paced, with so much attention to the details. The interation between the characters is beautiful, intense, truthfull and raw.
This book provide us love, friendship, loyalty, family as well as madness, betrayal, crime, punishment and disloyalty. Let's not forget the suspense, the unknown, the fear provided in each chapter. What made me devour this book in no time was the smooth way it run, it wasn't forcefull, it wasn't fake it was a raw and intense story.
And girls... Get ready to the hot stuff we all love to have. Be ready for a few cold showers... Just saying.
DD if the first book was just like this I can't imagine what the rest of the series will look like... Dayum... The waiting will make me even more crazy. Can't wait for Breech and Jiji's story...

From what I was able to gather, this is the debut novel for Ms. Galvani. It was good, but I didn’t love it, and, hopefully, I will be able to find the right words to explain why.

The two main characters are Jameson, aka Fighter, who is the enforcer of an MC in New York State, and Tish, who is his sister’s best friend. Tish and Jiji, the sister, end up in a world of trouble in their home state of Florida, and end up driving all the way to New York to ask Jameson for help. Jameson had not seen them in a long time, and he falls hard for Tish.

I loved the idea of the plot for this story. It was a really good idea, all intense, suspenseful in some parts, and hot in others. It also felt very rushed in some parts, made my head spin. I couldn’t figure out how all of a sudden Jameson and Tish were so all over each other. It felt like there was no awkward phase where they were working toward getting together. All of a sudden they were there. And it was confusing. At some point there is a reference of how Tish was all shy and not talking much when she first got to the clubhouse. And toward the end she was the total opposite, and how great that was. Problem was that I didn’t get to read about the shy phase, and had no idea what that was about.

Another thing that I did not like at all was the dialogue. And I definitely don’t know how to explain this part. I really enjoyed the story more when people were not talking to each other. I was good with only the thoughts in their own heads. The dialogue was just so repetitive and sometimes unnecessary. How many times can you have the word “babe” within a pretty short paragraph? Also, the guys were supposed to be some badass mother effers, but they were totally talking like sorority girls. I really wish I had written some examples down so I could explain it better, but I didn’t think of it. Oh well.

All in all, I think I would read the next story in this series which looks very promising.

Fighter is the Enforcer for the Devil's Wind MC, which means his job is to take care of the prospects, make sure things run smoothly, and generally kick a**es if they don't. He loves his life which consists of the club, his bike, and all the girls he can take to his bed. But things get complicated when his sister, and her best friend show up, out of the blue, at his club, needing help. Tish and Jiji have been best friends since they met, and have always had each other's backs. So when push comes to shove, and they have to run for their lives, the only safe place they have, is with Jiji's brother, Fighter. Tish has had a thing for Fighter since she was a teenager, but Fighter doesn't do relationships, but Tish isn't that little girl anymore, and has him ready to stake his claim. Especially since she saved his sister's life, and he has to return the favor. Now that the danger followed her, The Devil's Wind will step in to protect the girls, and Fighter has a decision to make before it's too late. I can't believe this was a debut book by D.D. Galvani, as her talented writing style jumped off the pages to transport me into the story instantly. Tish was a strong heroine that I really loved from the beginning, while Fighter was a great hero, who was a manwhore, but didn't take long to shed that skin. Their sexy times lit the sheets up with fiery flames that almost melted my kindle! And the cast of colorful secondaries were awesome who added a lot of humor & depth to the story, especially Jiji, who I hope gets her own story next! With the added in twists that made for a suspense factor that kept the f-bombs dropping, it was a great story that I devoured in one sitting. I CANNOT WAIT to read more of this new series! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fighters Claim was a good 4 star read.

Fighter is an enforcer for the Devil’s Wind MC.

When Fighter’s sister, Jiji and her best friend, Tish show up at the MC club, he is shocked that they would show up. When he sees them he is outraged, they are both beaten badly and are looking for help. Who would do this and why?

Jiji and Tish didn’t know anyone else besides Fighter, to help them. The MC brothers tell the girls they are safe and under their protection. Fighter has known Tish for years, watched her grow up with his sister. Now she is a grown woman and has captured his attention. He is furious and is determined to get revenge. When they give into their attraction, wow it is hot and steamy.

Will Fighter get his revenge and the woman he has fallen for?

I really liked Fighter, he was such a protector and was sweet to Tish. I loved the shower scene. Jameson, that thing looked like a loaded weapon. Women are drawn to you like bees to honey. Tish was a strong character with a big heart as well. I enjoyed the secondary characters and I can’t wait to read more from this series, I need to see some more on Jiji and Breech. This is my first read from D.D. Galvani and I was pulled right in.

Tish and her best friend Jiji just escaped a violent attack that left both girls seriously hurt and they're traveling to meet up with Jiji's older brother, Jameson, who is part of a MC in another state. They don't know how they will be welcomed exactly since Jiji and Jameson haven't seen each other in quite a while. Tish has only met Jameson once in her life and that was years ago.

This book is one of those that's hard for me write a review on. On one hand I liked the story line, but there were things that didn't seem "right" to me. The writing seemed choppy and I wish the author would've gotten a hold of a good editor and I feel this could've been pulled together and become very good. I'm not saying it was horrible and I hated it, I just think it could've been more polished. Secondly, Jameson seemed like kind of a drama llama to me. It's like he latched onto Tish right from the get go as if they'd had a serious romantic history and from the first day of her arrival he all but claimed her. That was far fetched to me. There were a few parts of the story that involved the usual 'club whores' where the dialect seemed almost high school speak to me. It really could've gotten it's point across without going into so much unnecessary details.

I assume there will be a follow up book coming out involving Jiji and another one of the club brothers. I more than likely will read that one and if the writing style has improved, I'll continue to read this author. I ended up giving this book 3 stars and it was given to me as an ARC for an honest review.

Terrific start to an MC series. For a new Author I must say I felt D.D. Galvani hit a home run her first time up to bat. The storyline had all the elements I love in a book such as: suspense, humor, romance and strong characters that one can relate to.

Tish and Jiji are best friends. They have both been through a lot growing up but as young adults their world starts to all apart. The girls are attacked, beaten and nearly raped by Jiji’s stepfather, Aden. They manage to escape and drive for days to Jiji’s brother and the sanctity of the Devil’s Wind MC.

From this point their world is turned upside down as Fighter, Jiji’s brother and the other men of the Devil’s Wind take the girls in. They offer them a safe place to heal and hide out from Aden. Don’t get me wrong, these girls are no wimps. They are both strong willed, fight for each other, their families and to get back the lives that Aden has taken from them. Lucky for them they have land with an MC group that puts family, brotherhood and their women first.

The storyline has a lot of suspenseful elements that will keep you on edge, a lot of tender warm-hearted times that will it a smile on your face and of course intimate times that are off the charts and will leave you breathless. Kudo’s for a great job Ms. Galvani. I highly recommend Fighter’s claims and I look forward to more books to come in this series and any future endeavors. 2 Hearty Thumbs Up!!!!!

Fighter’s Claim is a debut novel by D.D Galvani centreing around the Devils Wind MC. My understanding is this is the first book in a series about members of the MC.

The writing is good overall and flows quite well. I appreciated the author was attentive to details by tying up small loose ends that at times are left by the wayside. The plot has been well thought out and makes for an interesting read.

There were a few parts where I felt the story glossed over situations in a superficial manner that I feel deserve greater attention.

Tish and Jameson’s relationship is hot and they develop real feelings for each other but their coming together was too fast for my liking. There was really even no discussion that they were a couple. A hug, a kiss, a declaration from Jameson and the deal is apparently done.

The members of the MC are quite tame in comparison to characters in other MC books I’ve read. This is not necessarily a bad thing but I believe they sit too far in the “nice” category. Where’s the grittiness? These men have more deep & meaningful relationship discussions than I do! Interestingly, the only person in the book committing physical acts of violence is Tish.

Overall the book held my interest and I would like to read more of the author’s books to see how her published writing develops.

A final observation: If you describe your hero as having shoulder length hair, it pays to find a representative cover model

This book is exactly why I love MC books so much!!! You get the bad ass alpha men who treat the women they love and care for like queens and a story that has you absolutely hooked from the very beginning. Not only that but you get the angst and fight from others that fight the attraction they feel.

Fighter never expected to have Tish and Jiji show up at his MC and he certainly never expected them to come as they were but he is going to do anything he can to help them not only recover but to make sure they never are in danger again. He also never expected that his single status was about to change so fast but he can't deny the draw he has to Tish and he will do what he needs to in order to make her his.

Tish is wracked with guilt for not seeing what Jiji was going through and that she has lost what she has. She did what she needed to protect her and get her safe and now she needs a place to heal. She never expected the man that she has always been drawn to would have the same feelings toward her and not hate her for not protecting his sister.

Life is about to get better but danger is still lurking. Will Fighter and his MC be able to protect them? Will they be able to eliminate the danger?

This was such a great start to what I see as a promising career in the writing world. I can't wait to get the next couple!!!

Great first time read

This is the first book ive read from this author D.D. Galvani .
And i have to say i really enjoyed it. Ao much so i went and one clicked book two and three right away.
This was a story about Fighter real name Jameson. Enforcer with the Devil wind MC a marine and big brother to JiJi . Not ready to settle down he was enjoying life with the club whore's and booze and being with his club .
Until one fateful day with his sister JiJi and her best friend show up unannounced bloody broken and bleeding. JiJi step dad murdered her mother and tried to kill her but her best friend Tish saved her but not before she was brutally beaten and nearly raped. They manage to get away from him and travel 2 days to get to jameson for protection. Jameson vows to do everything in his power to protect his sister and Tish.
Falling for tishy was not what Fighter had in mind but fate had other ideas and soon fighter was falling hard for Tishy . With the threat of there step father hot on their heeles and jamesons love for tish growing every day, evil comes a knocking just when Fighter lets his guard down will tish be saved in time? . Or will something happen that will destroy not only the love thats building between two lost souls but bring the m.c
To their knees ? .

3.5 Stars-Good Debut

As a huge fan of the MC genre, Fighter's Claim was a good start for D.D. Galvani. She seemed to know what she wanted out of her characters and dipped her toe in the to angst pool just a bit. Now for her second book, she needs to jump in all of the way!

Right off the bat I was stilted by the writing. It is very stiff and proper, lots of over using of first names that reminded me of those old Dick and Jane books my mom collected. The conversations didn't flow naturally, they were told to you. I appreciate an author that writes as if they were talking, using contractions and some he, she pronouns every now and then. That said, I did like the characters and the story line.

Tish and her friend Jiji find themselves escaping from the worst situation imaginable and into the arms of Jiji's brother Fighter's MC club. He's the only family Jiji has left and the love of Tish's life, although he doesn't know that. The girls arrive on the MC doorstep with tons of baggage to complicate things for the boys.

Fighter is the typical, run of the mill biker in books, loves his drink, his women and his club. Sure he loves his sister, but hasn't seen her in a while. Her hot friend Tish is always in the back of his mind after talking to her for years, but he knows he'll never be good enough for her.

Tish and Jiji are in tough shape when they show up at the MC and instantly complicate things in the club. This is where D.D. Galvani could have amped up the angst with the club girls and other brothers. Instead, everything was pretty smooth sailing and predicable with the entire situation.

The book is well written and like I said, predictable. There are some interesting characters here and I hope in the next Devil's Wind adventure, these boys can get down and dirty a little more.

Wonderful book from a debut author. I love anything MC, so this book was right up my alley. Jiji and Tish are best friends that escape a violent situation. They are on their way to protection at Jiji’s brother, Jameson’s. They believe that him and his MC brothers could protect them.

Jameson joined the military at eighteen so he has some skills in protection. Once he gets out he joins the Devils Wind MC. One day he get a call from the prospect manning the front gate and it is two girls here to see him. When he looks at them he becomes furious with the state that they’re in and becomes his namesake, Fighter.

Once they are healed Fighter and Tish’s relationship takes off. When Jameson was in the military he would Skype Jiji and Tish would happen to be there every time and would sit in the background and not contribute to the conversation. I find it highly plausible that they would develop feelings for each other so quickly when there is a history between them. When danger that is stalking the two girls finally catches up with them will Fighter and his MC brothers be able to protect them?

I love the chemistry between Fighter and Tish. The interaction between the secondary characters is hilarious. The one fault I see in this book is the repetitive/choppy writing. But overall I think this is an excellent start to the series!!

YES!!! It doesn't happen that often, but every now and again I find a book that has a strong female lead that is also the heroine of the story, and I found that very woman in this book. What an amazing and intriguing story line. I loved the excitement, the brothers in the MC, and the two best friends who land on Fighter's doorstep looking for his help.

Tish is the star of this show for me. She is strong, not fearless but uses her fear to take action to save not only herself but her best friend. She is not one of those whimpy leading females who when they are taken, sit in a corner of a room crying and waiting for the hero to rush in and save her. She uses what she knows, what she's learned to get herself to safety, and then saves the day! I'm not saying that she doesn't cry because once the adrenaline high wears off, she will break down.... but then who wouldn't??

Jameson, "Fighter", is just what you'd expect from an Enforcer of a MC. Yes he is hot, alpha and a total badass, but he is also the brother to Jiji, Tish's best friend and the one that they run to when Jiji's step-father almost kills both of them.

I absolutely loved the banter in this story, between Jiji and Tish, Jiji and Fighter, the brothers, shoot everyone. It made this not only a great MC to read but a really fun read as well.

About the only thing that I didn't like was...well...nothing! I loved every part of this book...well except for towards the end of the book. There was one skank that I would have loved to see Tish or jiji get their hands on and beat the everloving hell out of, but..not my call!! LOL

Great beginning to a new series and my first read by this author. I cannot wait to see what comes next and I highly recommend this book!

Fighter’s Claim is D.D. Galvani’s debut and while there are a few signs that this is the author’s first book; at times it is a little bit jerky, a little bit rushed, and the text isn’t quite as fluid as a more practised author may write, these are minor little things I noticed, that others might not and I honestly really enjoyed it. The story pulled me in from the beginning, the characters were likable and if I hadn’t had to go to work, I would have read it in one sitting. The only thing I can say that could have maybe done with a little bit more to it was, I personally would have enjoyed a bit more from the showdown with the protagonist of the story.

I see great potential in D. D. Galvani, especially in this genre and I’m interested to see where this series will go. All in all, a great debut from a promising new author and I give Fighter’s Claim 4 stars.

4 Stars!

D.D. Galvani is brand new to me and the writing scene if I'm remembering correctly but nonetheless Galvani did a really good job with this sexy, fast-paced, fun mc romance. Fighter's Claim, book one in the Devil's Wind MC series, was kick ass standalone novel and has set up what looks to be a pretty amazing series.

She's in trouble and now she's running to him, and he's gonna be the one to save her... claim her m But Fighter presents his own dangers... of stealing her heart.

Fighter's Claim was exactly how I like my romances of this sort and the best friend's older brother trope was a nice surprise. The writing was addicting and the romance undeniable. Fighter and Tish gave me a lot of feels in such a good way, with an edge of suspense that kept me on my toes. I loved getting lost in the pages of their journey.

I really hope Jiji and Breech are up next...that out to be a good one.

I recommend this book.

Fighter' s Claim by DD Galvani

☆☆☆4 stars☆☆☆

Debut novel for new author, DD Galvani, and she's taken on one of my favorite genres. MC stories are rough, sexy and gritty, and I think she did a fantastic job. True to the MC life, with a great band of brothers, and the strength to break free of heartache and loss.

Jameson aka Fighter, is reunited with his younger sister, Jiji, after a tragedy in the family has struck. It's been years since he's seen her and he's overwhelmed with guilt and the urge to protect and rectify the situation.

With the help of his MC brothers, Jameson is on a mission of redemption, and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Knowing what his sister and her best friend, Tish, have been through, crushes him.

Tish has always had a connection with Jameson, even if their time together was short lived, the feelings never went away. Being back in his presence, has been an emotional overload for her, mixed with a bit of confusion. Some may say it was too quick, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

Fighter and his MC brother, Breech, have a bromance for the ages. They're hilarious together, yet serious when needed. Things turn a bit awkward, when Breech and Jiji start a love to hate relationship. Neither can deny it, even though they both try. I love them together, and hope they stop fighting the inevitable.

Sexy alpha men, great backstory, and chaos at every turn. Loved it, and can't wait for more!

Hooked from the first sentence!!!

A heart warming read that makes you ooo and ahhh. The chemistry between Fighter and Tish is incredible, he sees what he wants and goes for it. Rough around the edges, he lives in the moment, rides freely and loves fiercely.

The Devil Wind MC is all about brotherhood and loyalty and how far they’d go for those they claim. DD Galvani sets the scene for further developments, plots, twists and turns - especially about the nature of the club, their dealings and which side of the law they sit on!!

A witty story full of sass and humour and an underlying sense of foreboding. DD Galvani weaves intrigue, humour, fear, depravity and romance incredibly. With a strong heroine, a sassy friend and hot dangerous men... what’s not to love!!!
