The book Survive:Crash is about a “14 year old girl” named Gloria who was in a plane on the way back from an orchestra concert she had lost. She is with her musician teacher Mr. Wilkins who has been there for her for her whole life. The plane crashed. They end up stranded in a desert with the new friends she gains, like Henry and Max. They try to survive, While coming across a flash flood, poisonous scorpions, and no food or water.

This book was extravagant. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes the survivor series. This book reminds me of some of the survivor book series. The way the book adds suspense and has great characters. It is very interesting and entertaining to read. The way Wylie Ender wrote the dialogue was great. The story plot was very interesting. The only thing I didn’t like was how it didn’t fully describe what Gloria saw when she first got off the plane so I could picture it to myself.

I read the book Survive by Wylie Enders. This book is about a teenage girl who finishes her music contest and on the plane ride home she crashes. Do you think she will survive? This is a really good book especially if you like survival/adventure books. I loved this book I am going to give it a 4/10. This book was fabulous because it had action and there was some subtle comedy. My favorite part of the book was when Gloria was fighting the snake and she was so proud of her self when she finally killed the snake. I also liked it when they found water for the first time. They were so happy and they all were cheering.

Although this book had a lot of good parts in it, there were some parts that the author could have improved on. For example, the ending was very abrupt, they saw the helicopter and then the rescue person asked if they were okay and then the book was over. I think they could have made the ending a lot better by showing how their parents reacted when they got home and showing if Max, Henry and Travis made it back safely. I also didn't like how Mr. Wilkins died, I know that it is part of the story but I really thought he was going to make it out and make it back to safety. That is my review on the book Survive by Wylie Enders.

This is a true test of survival for the teens in this book. Some harsh conditions following an airplane crash in the desert. Not everyone survives or makes good choices.

I enjoyed this book. The format has larger print and line spacing than many books with this type of content. Could be a great choice for a reluctant reader in middle school who likes adventure but finds finishing a book difficult.

This is a great hi-lo story about a plane crash that leaves about 15 people stranded in the desert. Limited supplies, rattlesnakes, heatstroke and general terror make this a complete page turner. Great for emergent readers as well as those who may need a push from rereading graphic novels.

Grades 6 and up.

a pretty good, fast-paced read - a little gory in parts, but not over the top. PG for fear / death.

Crash is about a group of people that are on the same airplane and are involved in the airplane crashing. It crashes in the desert of Arizona. Some characters die right away while other passengers get serious injuries and others not so bad ones. The characters slowly start to die off and the remaining group has to decide whether to stay with the plane and wait for rescue or try to walk through the desert to civilization. This book is the second one of the Survive series and after reading it you do not need to read these books in order to know what is going on they are all their own individual story and they are all good books. My favorite character is Gloria because she had just lost a big violin competition and feels like she is nothing. She soon realizes that if she can survive in the desert that she could do anything. The characters in this book do seem to be real. This story really keeps you interested as you constantly want to know if rescue is coming or are they going to die and what their next move is. However I did not like the ending of this book. It is my most favorite book until the last two pages. I think the book needs a different better ending with more details. I would recommend this book to anyone with a reading level high enough to read it. I would give this book four and a half stars only because I do not like the ending.
