Four years ago, Percy was adopted into Clan Ross. They think he's forgotten most of his life before that day. But its time for confessions...and an accounting.
The Lad That Time Forgot is Percy's story and a chance to see all the characters in the series reunited. The titles, in 1. Going Back For Romeo 2. Not Without Juliet 3. Collecting Isobelle 4. What About Wickham 5. Unraveling James 6. The Lad That Time Forgot
Wow! I thought I had read all of LL MUIR’S Time Travel novels with the Muir twins and the ever handsome Wickham. Evidently I hadn’t. Percy! How many of us think when listening to Cher’s If I Could Turn Back Time? And have a small wish in our hearts to do just that! To share Percy’s wish allows us for a time to go with him and do just that. In seeing some of the pitfalls and thinking has Percy made the right choice here, it gives us pause to realise, travelling back could end up worse the second time around. To be grateful for surviving it this first time. The pain, heartache forgotten or left in the past is not what you want to replay a second time. How will Percy be able to endure what he may have forgotten? Enjoy Percy’s journey, it gives you a pause for thought.
When Percy emerged from the infamous tunnel ten years younger, his adoptive parents hoped he also would have forgotten the hardships he’d faced as the eighth son of the cruel head of the clan Gordon. But when he begins to doubt and question life in the 21st century Wickham takes him back to revisit the past to decide in just which time he wants to live. This is a sweet story of enlightenment, discovery, forgiveness and ultimately of choice... and the Muirs, as always, are in the thick of it. It was a fun albeit short read.
I loved this story . It concluded in a most satisfactory way -like life. As I read it -drawing out this book, I thought about going back like Percy in order to value, appreciate or let go of what you have for something that you think you should have. Hopefully we learn the answer to this dilemma of Percy. It's about finding your heart and even fate. On a side note I love Emmi she is amazing - only L.L. Muir could create such a captivating character. I don't think Percy is the Lad that time forgot - he is however the Lad who was remembered.
In this story Percy has what we call "the grass is always greener" moment when he wants to return to the world and life he once had. Loved the "ghost of Christmas past" approach with Wickham taking him back to see what really was going on. The ending scene was a great surprise to Jules and the readers! Loved this series!
I was surprised that Percy, as a typical brooding teenager, remembered his father. But he did and so with Wickhams help...back to The Duncan. By the way, I really like Wickam. It's a roller coaster of emotion. These Muir witches are full of mischief. Enjoy the ride
When they went through the tunnel Percy just lost his normal ageing not quite all his memories. If nothing else he has to save his sister. Looking forward to next part of the series of the clan Ross
Wonderful story of love and sacrifice. He is a Gordon who was brought into 21st century to save his life so he doesn't know about why he was brought he thinks he was kidnapped from his family. Read on for what really to and more.
Time travel and magic, what's not to like. The only issue, the travel through time is getting more like a revolving door and too easy. Hard to believe Walter could have tricked his brother and his sisters did not know for years
I gave this 5 stars only because of the extras that were included. I thought it was a bit rushed as honestly LL Muir could just about continue the story line in another 10 books it’s that great.
I love reading about what happened to the adopted son Percy of the Gordon clan. It's interesting the trek that had to be made for him to come to full term to his pass in his present. Excellent read
