This book does a great job on the sociological aspects of the Louisiana Indians but I wish it gave more of the history of the Indians. Nonetheless, as a retired social studies teacher I learned a lot about the Indians of my home state.

The best all-in-one source of Louisiana Indian information. You would be better off reading the primary sources, but this book is easier.

It's a convenient and short summary on account of Louisiana's Native Americans. Extensive bibliography is a good reference for further reading.
