If I Ever Leave You: Pam of Babylon Book #16 - a review by Rosemary Kenny

The family dynamics change as relationships ebb and flow, leaving matriarch Pam frazzled to say the least! Should she get away from it all and return to her beloved Greek Islands for some much-needed R&R? Or face up to her family's variety of personal issues that impact on her peace of mind and ability to enjoy her own life to the full at last?

In the fantastic Queen of Romantic Suspense, Suzanne Jenkins' Pam of Babylon epic family saga series, #16, If I Ever Leave You, really pulls out all the stops, never pausing for breath in her pacing and the wonderful interactions between her engaging, fully-developing MCs. Pam, Violet, Alison Ryan, poisonous-to-HEAs Lisa and poisonous-on-the-inside, newly svelte and lovely-on-the-outside Sandra Benson etc ebb and flow seamlessly as with all Suzanne Jenkins' fabulous books.

To get the best experience buy them all and tell all your friends not to miss this epic family saga that will leave you eager for #17 and beyond.
If I Ever Leave You has it all, poignant memories, future promises, unexpected relationships and consequences and much, much more - I guarantee it's the best

Just too much...

Again, there are way too many characters in her books and some things that happened just made no sense at all! Why did Maggie kill herself and why did she choose Ryan's apartment to do it? Why wasn't Sandra killed off in the other series?? And Ryan...OMG don't get me started on him, as well as Lisa. Lisa's house is a revolving door for everyone and then they all end up having sex. Again, I wonder what in the heck happened in the author's life to make her write this. Jack Smith's children are doing the very same things that he did only in a different way. Why did he have a sexual relationship with Ryan, but not with Brent? It's like the storyline is the same but with different people. I guess the author got bored after a while and couldn't find anymore creativity. To just have people who have been diagnosed with AIDS or HIV be in sexual relationships with their half siblings is just sick, even if it is fiction... smh. Again, this is something that happens in the real world in predominantly white families. Pam has got to be a HUGE idiot to just sit back and allow her only daughter to have an incestuous relationship with her half brother...this is the stupidest book I've ever read and I'm so glad that it was free! Had I had to pay for it I would've been asking for a refund!

A long delicious read!

It felt like forever waiting for the new release. If I Ever Leave You was worth the wait. Possibility the best book in the series. The plot was so well developed, that every little nuance fit into the puzzle completely to come up with a beautiful story. The characters are so well developed that they feel like members of my family. I didn't know that I could love this series even more. Now the bad part is waiting for #17.

Starting at the end.

This was a book so filled with family and friends, their loves and losses. With so much information it was a joy to keep track of who was who, the pecking order was always changing and ALL so very delightfully interesting. I was surprised to discover I had started reading the last book in this series. I now look forward to starting at the beginning.

Obsession going strong!

When will my obsession with these characters end?! Far from reality, given the sad reality of the world we live in, these books have provided me the mental escape I need right now.

How this story goes on and twists and turns.

Love this series. Can’t wait to see what Suzanne Jenkins does with these intertwined people as time goes on in Babylon and beyond.

Love Babylon

As always, the tales of the characters in the "Pam" books will keep you entertained. Is seems that this one had to spend a lot of time updating the story line. None the less, if you read the Babylon series, you will love this book.
