Eleanora Pacelli is doing her best to keep up with the whirlwind that is her life. Juggling a fiancé, a full-time job, and the looming opening of a second restaurant isn’t easy, and she just has to keep reminding herself that things will calm down – eventually.
The frantic pace of Ellie’s life is brought crashing to a halt when someone she knew personally is found dead in what first looks to be an accident, but swiftly reveals itself to be something more. Ellie, along with the entire Papa Pacelli’s crew, is shocked at the loss of one of their own, and she will rest at nothing to track down the person responsible and make sure they answer for the murder that they committed.
When Cozy Mystery author, Patti Benning, isn’t busy plotting the deaths of multiple fictitious characters, she loves to spend time hiking with her rescue dog, Max, who is her bestest writing buddy.
Patti loves to cook and the food in her books has been tried and tested in her very own kitchen. She’s technologically shy, and stays away from social media a great deal, because it makes her feel more awkward and introverted than meeting someone face to face.
Writing is the perfect job for her because in her books, she gets to explore all the topics she loves, food, animals, crafts and reading. She loves her readers dearly, and is thankful for the opportunity to share with them through her work.
Being newly diagnosed with carbailments and wheat etc. This might be an answer to a prayer. I loved the excitement in this cozy .Looking forward to the wedding new store and new baby. Great fun read.
Ellie is overwhelmed with life. She tries to spend time with her fiance, working at the pizzeria, and preparing to open her new restaurant. She tries to tell herself that things will calm down soon, but not in the immediate future. When someone close to Ellie is found dead from what appears to be a horrible accident time seems to stop. Quickly, the death investigation turns to murder. Ellie and her staff are finding it difficult to deal with the loss of friend. Finding the perpetrator becomes Ellie’s goal.
This series continues to entertain. The characters are interesting and realistic. Ellie has a limited circle of friends and family which for many is relatable. The setting is an inviting small town and focuses on the comfort of Nonna’s home and the pizzeria. The relationships amid the characters are also realistic. I have enjoyed this series from book one and recommend reading it from the beginni
Pizza delivery people double check weird orders!!!!!!
I enjoyed this book, but Ellis was a little slow figuring out some of the dots to connect to get the main person. Maybe she had way too much to juggle at the same time. What with the new pizzeria opening, the one she is in, maybe hiring a new person, a new person wanting an interview, then figuring out a murder and trying to find time to spend with Russell. I got tired reading it. But that's Ellie's life until she gets that new pizzeria open. You will enjoy this book, I can't wait for the wedding.
As Ellie is trying to keep it together by opening the new store long distance, keep her store running and plan a wedding she gets a phone call that turns everything upside down. Ellie needs Russell to figure out who killed her employee and bring them to justice.
I love this series! Patti Benning always surprises me in each book. I think I know the killer and boom she sneaks in and surprises me.
This kindle e-book novella is from my Kindle Unlimited account book 16 of 48
A person delivering a pizza 🍕 is murdered! Why? Ellie finds person going through the dumpster. Why, the answer leads to the truth and arrest and a happy ending 😀.
I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of romantic family and friends relationships adventure mystery novels 👍🔰. 2024 👒😀💘
This is Book 16 in the Papa Pacelli's Pizzeria Series, and I am certainly glad I got in on the ground floor! While still working at the original Papa Pacelli's, Ellie has been busily working on getting the second Papa Pacelli's restaurant up and running in Florida and making plans for her and her original staff to make the trip for the grand opening. As if that isn't enough, someone she personally knows is murdered. So much to do and so little time. This is an excellent book and series.
Ellie is busy with getting the new pizzeria in Florida open. While business in the original pizzeria in Maine is booming. Then she gets a phone call at work telling her that her delivery person has been killed while on a delivery. The murder seems to be a total mystery and the sheriff is stumped . Then it resolves with a surprise ending.
Ellie is trying to get her second pizzeria opened from a distance and isn't prepared when someone close to her is killed. Can she handle all this stress while dealing with a death so close to her?
Patti Benning has written another well thought out plot in this new installment. The mystery of who had killed one of her employees was hard on Ellie. The ending came as a complete surprise.
To be honest I was disappointed in this book. It was a bit of a hurried mess. I felt as if the book was rushed at the end. I usually love the Papa Pacelli books. This was not the best.
Absolutely fantastic!! What a great book!! It's my favorite of the series so far. There are a couple of twists that you won't see coming. Patti Benning has done a marvelous job!!
I know these are quick reads, but this one didn't live up to what I found in previous books in the series. So many mistakes, too. Not sure I'll move onto the next one.
Too many errors! I don't understanding how or why there are still so many errors. This book was written at least 4 years ago so why hasn't there been complaints in all that time?
