The team will learn whether she's right as they cross unknown territory, encountering dangerous gems, enigmatic relics, thieves, and dangers at the barrier zone..Faraway places seem more exciting to Lana, but adventure awaits her at Shadowglade. The castle still holds its share of secrets and dangers, which Lana is about to find out--at the worst possible time, with help far away. This series is a trilogy and should be read in order : Beyond the Forest , Shadowglade , Runes and Relics. A spinoff series featuring gnome main characters from this trilogy continues the story with more adventures in the gnome world. Runes and Relics is a great wrap-up to the Gem Powers trilogy! I especially liked how Ling continued to expand the roles of the gnome and breghlin characters while taking care not to do so at the expense of the characterizations of Elias, Jules, and Lana. I am eagerly looking forward to reading the spin-off series - the Gem Lore series - when it comes out in the spring of 2018. Overall, I am very happy to have discovered the Gem Powers Trilogy while browsing, and would happily recommend it to other fantasy readers.

Great ending to the series

I really enjoyed reading this trilogy. I feel in love with the characters and the place they lived. This book series makes me wish I had gem powers. I even feel in love with Tina Ann.

Incredible

I loved this series. Anyone who enjoys epic fantasy should read it. It is the perfect mix of human interaction in an imaginary world.
