I almost cued the soap opera music as I turned the pages. I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery. The over the top sex was expected as it is Mr. Carpenter's trade mark. Buff hairy men screwing everything loudly and passionately. I'm not sure how I feel about Eleanor though I understand her reasoning. Chad turned out just fine. Brett? I'm not sure...
How much sex is too much? When it completely distracts from the plot and I'm afraid this serial is a perfect example, in my opinion ("Repetitive and boring" is an understatement!). The plot isn't bad at all if maybe a bit melodramatic. Overall, very disappointing!
