This short and easy-to-read volume may strike you at first glance as a bit cheesy, or you may think that since it's directed at hypnotists it doesn't apply to you. But it in fact contains lots of good hints on how to become more subtly persuasive, something definitely useful for startup entrepreneurs, or anybody else.

It's ok, but there are better

Effectively this is a cut down Erickson language patterns book that only covers about 20% of the patterns.

There are so many books on this subject that are well written and complete and in not convinced that this offers anything more to the body of knowledge.

It's not a bad book it just doesn't move the conversation along.

Scripts?

Excellent concept and discussion but where are the specifics. Scripts. Intent, breakdown. Oh right buy more books. Okay because how do I encourage without telling them I am going to hypnotize them.

Very Informative and Useful

Simple to read for those who are not therapist. Imagine using hypnotic words or phrases in your everyday speaking’s with positive reactions and outcomes.
Because it’s possible with the tools you learn from this book.
Highly recommend it for those who like the art of words and play with language to incorporate the patterns into every day speaking. How could you not take away a phrase or 2 to enhance yourself confidence and worth. It’s all in there.

Excellent material and presentation.

Easy to follow, logical format covering some essential patterning skills. This book actually be used to acquire these skills, or (as in my case) relearn skills that have atrophied over time. I really enjoyed that the author liberally sprinkled examples within her writing.
