When Dr. Greg Parker's research indicates that the CIA manipulated the Northridge, California earthquake, he and his daughter, Sharon follow a trail of clues that indicate a conspiracy to destroy America's economy. They slowly realize that an explosion in Jerusalem, a potential earthquake in middle America, and the devastation of the American economy fit a pattern that is amazingly parallel to predictions found in the Bible. Soon Greg and Sharon Parker's race to stop destruction of their country becomes a battle to save their own lives as well.

Enjoyed this book, but at times it seemed a little unrealistic and not that well written. I enjoyed the theme and plot though. Fun, intriguing read.

I read this book because my mom enjoyed it and passed it along. It’s a fantastic example of a terribly written Christian fiction. The plot is a subpar conspiracy theory (basically, an Illuminati-like group tries to cause a massive earthquake that will remove the USA as a world superpower). The characters are flat, and the dialogue is positively wooden. Even though two of the main characters are women, they read as if they were the puppets of a 50-year-old white guy.

Simply put, this is one of the worst books I’ve read in quite a long time.

I can not think of another book that took this long to get through. It was definitely interesting (and at times, a bit far-fetched).. but it was dry. It was hard to get into til close to the end where there was a little bit of action.

Not very impressed by it. It was a little hard to get through and not terribly intense in my opinion.
