This is the first book by Eva Luxe that I have read. From the blurb I really wanted to read this, even though I've read a ton of similar books. This one just didn't hold up for me. There are some editing issues, wrong word used in a sentence.
Lacey was just so back and forth. She was kind of flakey. He's so hot, I won't have sex with him...10 mins later, she's having sex with him. Ohhh, it won't happen again. Yup, it does and she initiates it.
Hanson is the stereotypical "badboy football player".
I didn't feel anything for these characters. I didn't feel their connection. From looking at other reviews, I'm in the minority. This just wasn't for me I guess. The large font and double spacing bugged me also.
Once I finished this read, I didn't read the other books that were after this one. I got this one off of KU.

Bad boy superstar & good-girl image consultant hit it off. They can't keep their hands off each other & end up with an unexpected pregnancy. This story is full of angst, humor & so hot sex scenes!! Very entertaining.

Disappointing! I know Lacey was hired to clean up NFL star Hanson's image but he wasn't as guilty as she thought. And she was too wishy-washy for me. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen.

Don’t say a word by Eva Luxe a sublime four star-read. This is the first book by this author I have read, I have read several by the co-author, and I am sure Eva Luxe will go on to write some of my favourites, she has a great talent that I know will only go from strength to strength. Hanson is an alpha of the highest order!! I could think many a play we could try on the field. Secrets have a way of coming out and this story will show you a great time. If you are looking for a full length story with a HEA, and some great situations thrown in for good measures this is the story for you.

This book was good and great all at the same time till it came to the point where the author literally lost me but no worries found me again.
I loved Lacey but at the same time didn't.
There were errors that I overlooked but the voice of this author didn't quite POP until the end of the book but by then it was too late.
Don't get me wrong this is a really amazing book. It's a fast read and the author includes more reads after this book which I did not read.

Don't Say a Word is a well-written, smooth flowing bad boy sports romance story by Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners. This duo has written a great story that is sweet, sexy, and oh, so hot!

This was a nice and quick read. I enjoyed both the MC's. I was happy that Hanson was able to change who he was off the field. It was of course good that him and Lacey got a nice HEA.

It took me awhile to finish this.. i'll be honest some parts of the story made me wanna slap Hanson and shake Lacey.. on some dumb shit..
When we first met hanson.. he was well a cocky manwhore asshole who acted like a child and i disliked it and i loveeee how Lacey was cool, sassy, coldish and I loved it!! then something shiffted and then i started to love this asshole more and Lacey less.. maybe cuz it was the whole "push and pull" like STOPPP!!! how many times are we going to do this dance!!
then something happens Lacey gets knocked up!! Pill & condom didn't work.. poor Lacey.. she battling demons (fkin dad).
Who's story i wanna get to read Brain! like i wanna know his story!!

Hanson went to the White Room Club knowing that it was popular with all the beautiful women and the who’s who of Miami. Lacey worked for a management and PR firm. Her boss just gave her a new client Hanson
Bell who was one of the shark team player. After reading his file she told her boss she would think about it. Lacey and her friend Kina meet up and she wants to know who the new client was that Lacey took over. She tells Kina that it was Hanson Bell and how she had to make him clean up his act. Her friend always teased her about finding someone and Lacey told her she wasn’t looking for anyone and she was happy with her work. Hanson wanted to go after Lacey because she was a challenge and he always got what he wanted. She starts to tell him she was there to help clean up his act and then proceeds to show Hanson with the two women from the hotel. Even though he is quite gorgeous she knew she had to finish this job and move on. She gets back to her office thankful she was away from him and started to plan her actions to get the ball rolling. Lacey and Hanson finally get together and she knew she should not be going there but she was curious. Lacey thought she had him controlled until a couple of photos arrive on the internet. Lacey needed to get him back on track otherwise it would be his and her job which would be gone.Hanson started to be good on his own but he missed Lacey. He goes over there and she drops a bombshell on him hey tells him to leave. He was so confused how she could turn so cold but when he finds out he understood and had to talk to her immediately

Great light reading. The descriptions are amazing, the troubles real and the s * x scenes hot! You cannot go wrong with this one.
This isn't your typical hero, no he is everything but a hero. Hanson Bell plays hard on the field and plays even harder out. Parties (check), lots of drinks (checks), a woman or two and not the same every night (check and check). But his ways out of the field are messing with his game, he is suspended and maybe out of a job if he do not clean up his act.
Lacey is there to help him clean up his image, she is his new PR Manager. She doesn't want to change him, she is there to tell him how to manage his image in a way that the public see what he want them to see. She is a commitment phobic, she don't do the relationship thing. But Hanson is making her want things she shouldn't. Like him doing her! ;)

This book is so good I stayed up until 1 am to finish reading it I just could not stop myself this book was sexy it was sweet with two characters whom arrested so much alike in some was. In the beginning a Hanson is a player whom has slept his way through many women. He is a football player got in trouble for a DUI and now his coach has hired a PR rep to help him clean up his image.
Can Hanson change his image. This man loves women and he only does one night he doesn't remember names or faces until Lacey. Lacey is s independent woman who does not want a man. She only does casual. She was hired to be Hanson's PR. She is basically the female version of Hanson but she hasn't had as many partners. When these two meet sparks fly.
Lacey does not want to act on it but Hanson is irresistible and she's never felt this way for someone. Hanson feels the same. They have a secret affair and next thing you know Lacey is pregnant. What will Hanson do. Can he really change his ways? Is Lacey ready to be a mother? Cause Lacey never really wanted kids after her childhood.
Like I said earlier I enjoyed this book it was a real page turner. Awesome characters and I loved the connection between the two characters . This book is a must read for me and I know I will be reading this one again real soon.

Hanson is a womanising playboy and terrific football player. However, he is more known for the exploits off the field than on the field and he has got himself into trouble so much so that he has been suspended and told his reputation MUST improve. Enter Lacey who is a PR guru whose job it is to fix Hanson's public profile. She doesn't want commitment but always maintains a "good" image. He justs wants to have HER! When they meet the attraction between them is off the scales and leaving him wanting more of her and not his usual one night stand. Things happen and will overcome to get their own HEA? This is a wonderful read by Juliana Conners who is a very well known fantastic author and Eva Luxe who is a new author to me but what a terrific starting book! Lacey and Hanson are both very likeable and as the story unfolds they both have changes of heart that are believable. The passion between them cannot be ignored and the steamy scenes may very well make you blush. This all brings together aa great storyline, wonderful characters that I cheered for and imaginations and writing skill that totally drew me into their reality. Definitely recommended Enjoy! I read this book as part of an arc program. I enjoyed this story about a bad boy football player who has to restore his image to be able to play again after a suspension. Hanson is a classic playboy who does whatever he wants and doesn't think it matters to how he plays ball. Lacey is hired to be his publicity manager and to try and reform his image. Hanson is used to any woman falling at his feet and when Lacey doesn't react to him like he wants, he decides he wants her more. Hanson continues to try and get Lacey in bed, she fights him off, but for only so long. Lacey has always avoided relationships and wants to sleep with Hanson, but he is her client and she hold out. Needless to say, this drives Hanson crazy and he doesn't give up easily. I enjoyed the book and I really liked Hanson, he had a soft side he didn't show to many people. Another good one

So hot! I love a story about a strong independent woman who doesn't feel having a relationship is what completes her. She still has her fun but she is committed to her job. That is...until she meets Hanson. A raw, sexy story story about a PR person and the bad boy of football. Apparently cleaning up his image means getting dirty, very dirty! The chemistry this duet has while writing is magical! I was very impressed with how easy it was to get wrapped up in this story! I am not a fan of sport romance however, this story is not about the sport at all. This is all about image and how much work there is to redeem oneself! Lacey is the tough no-nonsense PR expert sent to fix Hanson's tarnished Football Hero image! From the first meeting the sparks fly and the reader is taken on a wild ride! I was left feeling I could walk into any of the venues described and be comfortable ordering a meal or drink. The scenes were intimate and steamy. The characters were well developed and well rounded. I hope these authors team up again as I will be looking forward to their next book!

This was the first book I've read by these authors. This is a well-written story about a bad boy football player Hanson Bell who has been suspended for 6 games. Due to his suspension, his coach has assigned him a PR rep., Lacy, to help him clean up his image. Lacy has her work cut out for her, not only does she have to help Hanson repair his image, but she has to resist his charm along the way. How long can Lacy resist bad boy Hanson? Their chemistry is over the top hot! Neither of them believes in relationships, they only have one night stands. You'll have to read to find out how they realize that their feelings for each other are real and how with love and trust relationships can work!

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. This book was a decent read. My actual rating is 3.5. The plot itself was decent and the chemistry between the m/c's was good. The characters themselves were issues for me. Hanson was typical for the character, poor guy just couldn't catch a break. But Lacey's character annoyed me. Say one thing but do the other then get bent out of shape. It wouldn't have been so bad, if she wasn't that way throughout the book. There was no progress for her unfortunately.

Hansen Bell...currently suspended from the Miami Dolphins...and getting bad press. His team hires a PR firm to clean up his image. Lacey is the PR manager assigned to Hansen. They have instant chemistry but Lacey insists that they keep a professional relationship. However, they eventually give in to their desires. Hansen isn't a total douche and starts to earnestly work on cleaning up his playboy ways. Just when things appear to be going well between him & Lacey, she abruptly puts an end to things...she has some daddy issues. Will they have an HEA? There is a surprise...and I loved how Hansen grew up before our eyes.

This was a great sports romance with bad boy Miami Dolphins football player Hansen. He's in need of an image consultant to improve his bad reputation. Drinking, one night stands and headlines that make the team owners cringe. The coach hires Lacey to be his image consultant and she has one cardinal rule, never sleep with a client. Of course Hansen has other ideas and he continues to pursue her. Neither want a committed relationship. She's married to her work. Finally the attraction becomes two great and they have a fling and an unplanned pregnancy. No spoiler here - just a great read. I received an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

Yes, everyone does have secrets, and yes, everyone does have a "secret" side of them that they don't want just anyone to find out about them, and yes, it does make for a quick reading, very entertaining and of course very attention grabbing and holding, book from these two authors, Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners. It is also a story about choosing and make a real life that extends beyond just having great casual sex, which by the way, is described in the book in superb panty melting or dick hardening detail, depending on whether you are a female or male reader. Hanson is the pro football bad boy who has been suspended. Lacey is the PR manager hired by the team to get Hanson's reputation out of the gutter. What neither of them realize is that working so close together brings the fuel that sparks their attraction. The chemistry between the two characters is off the charts. But can this bad boy be tamed? Can Lacey open herself up to a future with a client? This was a great story with wonderful characters and I loved the twist in the plot that was the turning point to the relationship.

A man's reputation is everything. Hansen just doesn't get it. Lacey's been hired to make sure he does. Keep going down the road your on, you will loose the only thing good in your life, Football. Hansen's realizing she's probably right and he's realizing, it's not Football he's worried about losing. Bad press, bad timing, it doesn't look good for the home team. Lacey's trying to practice what she's preaching, that ain't going so well either. No spoilers! Great read, highly recommend. I recieved this book as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

It is a interesting, sexy and easy to read story. Hanson is a major player on the field and off. Lacey should be helping to clean up his image. She feels women should have the same freedom of playing the field as men do. The sparks and chemistry between them keep the story interesting. I enjoyed the banter between Hanson and Lacey. The story is well written and has enough going on that it keeps you turning pages. It’s a very enjoyable story line. I look forward to reading more from this author. I received this book as a gift and voluntarily leave this review.

This bad boy sports romance is a hot read. Lacey the public relations manager who is assigned to clean up the image of Hanson the all American football star who always does what he feels like and does not think of the consequences. This book comes from a different angle in that Lacey sleeps with different men to fulfil her needs with no commitment so when Hanson shows signs that he would like a fling but Lacey never gets involved with her clients. The plot thickens and and this five star read is a real roller coaster read.

I enjoyed reading this story about Hanson & Lacey. Hanson is a Football Player but he is also a player off the field too. Lacey is a PR consultant who is going to help sort Hanson out. Little do either realise but they will help each other. They share some hot chemistry and Lacey ends up pregnant. Hanson is the one that in the end convinces Lacey to give him a shot and a chance to create a happy family together.

Hanson is the one that in the end convinces Lacey to give him a shot and a chance to create a happy family together.

This was different. Instead of having one person who doesn't want to commit you had two. Hanson and Lacey both are into no string attracted "relationships" or just one night stands. Lacey has never slept with a client before. But as they get closer things change. But she fights it at every turn. A little to much back and forth for my taste but still a nice story.
