It sort of reminded me of Ted Greene's Chord Chemistry but less daunting and more practical. I was lucky to have Jon as a teacher while he was writing this book and I'd often arrive to lessons to hear new stories about Chester along with other humorous bits only Jon could come up with. I think he does well presenting even the most complex chords in easy to understand examples.

Great method and reference book. It sheds light on the obscure and mysterious mechanics of the guitar. Inspiring, funny, and highly recommended for the serious guitarist.
