I do not like this book at all. The plot, the flow and the characters are all out of the place. John is a jerk. He is selfish and only thinks about himself. Even when India's mother in hospital, he still demanding toward India.

India is weak and confusing. She having a cruch for John for so long and when John makes a move, she backs away and pushes him away. So annoying. The best friend, Marina is also frustrating. Pushing people to have blind date. She is the worst matchmaker in the history of romance books.

Overall I lost my interest and drop this book into my DNF shelve.

First of all, I didn’t finish it. Life is too short to finish reading books that I actually don’t want to finish.

Second of all, these are a few things I didn’t like about the book.

I absolutely dislike Marina. I stopped reading around the time India’s mom woke up. I didn’t like India because she was playing hard to get and not in a cute and romantic way but that’s not what made me stop. I love romance novels cause they taught me that if you like someone, don’t waste your time. Tell them because you won’t know what’ll happen tomorrow. What made me stop is when India told Marina that her mom was in the hospital but she was recovering and Marina STILL pushed her freaking matches on India. Girl. Your friend’s mother just got in an accident. Chill the f out with the gosh darn matches.

Now, from reading other reviews (and a few of the last pages), I assumed that Marina somehow tricked Jon and India with all these bad matches so they’ll actually fall for one another or whatever? I don’t care. I still don’t like how she kept shoving these awful guys down India’s throat. My friends know me and they know what kind of guy I like. They don’t need a freaking questionnaire or app to know that.

An extremely enjoyable friends/business partners-to-lovers romance story with a wonderful storyline that keeps you turning the pages to see how the story will unfold, chemistry that leaps off the pages, sexual tension, and oh so hot sex.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This one should have been a fairly quick read (only 261 pages) but it... just ... felt... looooonng. I can't believe this is the same author that wrote The Arrangement and I enjoyed that book so much more. The idea for this had me hooked, long time friends who were scared to ruin things. It totally seems like a "real life" situation.

The entire plot was a up and down roller coaster that had me dieing for the ending (and not in a good way). It went as follows:

India was unsure, Jon was pleading, India needed space, Marina would convince her Jon was no good, Jon pleaded until India believed his feelings, a coworker would congratulate/catch them while being a couple, India was scared some more and withdrawn, Jon would accuse India of having second thoughts, India would need space. **passes out from lack of oxygen** Recycle, rinse, and repeat for another 15 chapters.

Anytime there was any inner monologue, Jon would say something along the lines of "needing a good fuck" or something to that effect. It just drained all emotion out of the situation and made me understand Marina's point of view that much more, the opposite effect.

If I had to pick a good moment, I did enjoy the small scene were Marina comes over to India's house at the end while Jon is there. The mother's plot was unexpected but I still skimmed over those chapters (and the last 4 as well) so that can't really count.

I only paid .99 cents for this one but I still feel cheated.

Matched by S E Lund is the story of Indian and Jon who are business partners. They have a great working relationship and don’t want to ruin it by starting a sexual one.

Marina, India’s friend has developed a dating app, which matches individuals and uses India as a test case. Marina also convinced Jon to be a test match and she fails at both matches, twice with India and once with Jon.

I love that India is not only beautiful, but also extremely intelligent and Jon sees this and appreciates her.

The two realize the attraction is too great and they decide to be friends with benefits. The sexual tension is off the charts and the banter between the two is great.

India struggles more than Jon, as she doesn’t want to ruin their business relationship. At times I wanted to give her a nudge and give into her feelings.

I did have some issues with Marina even though I figured out what she was doing.

Jon and India have their ups and downs due to India’s insecurities, but they do get their HEA. I hope we see this couple at a later date in Ms. Lund’s next release.

I was gifted an ARC for an honest review.

This is the story of India and Jo who meet at university and end up starting a tech company together. Jo is a great looking guy who has a reputation as a 'manwhore' because he never wanted to make a relationship commitment. India ended her relationship with Blair her long-term boyfriend when he moved to New York because he could not respect India's intelligence and accomplishments and remain exclusive to her. He was egotistical and arrogant, needing his needs met and not valuing India's. India remains in California to continue her work with Jo at their growing tech company.

India's best friend Marina has designed a dating app 'Matched' and keeps matching India and Jo with terrible matches as a way of testing its accuracy. This causes India and Jo to realize what a wonderful friendship they have and what it is about one other that they admire and cherish. This starts a change from friendship to something more. That 'more' is hot and sexy and lifechanging for them both. I loved to see the change and angst in both characters to their HEA. Great read!

Jon and India are partners in business and also great friends. Sure they fantasize about each other once in a while but it can never go beyond that because Jon likes no commitment sex and India believes in love and marriage and if things ended badly, their business relationship could suffer too. Then India's friend Marina sets her up on a date with a match from the dating app she has created and suddenly Jon isn't content with the status quo. Can he convince India to give them a chance? Having had her heart broken once before, can India trust Jon not to break it again?

This funny, sexy book is a great read! Jon and India are equally matched characters with lots of chemistry and I thoroughly enjoyed their up and down journey to happy ever after.

I like books with a combination of laughter, steamy hotness, and romance. This book wins on all three. India wants a man that will say the word, "exclusive". After having her heart broken once, she has a hard time with trust. Jon, her friend, exmilitary, and business partner, is a manwhore, always taking home a different lady. Then, there is Marina, India's best friend, who has started a matchmaking business, and she is determined to find the perfect match for India and Jon, which adds lots of laughter to the story. Then, there is the sizzling chemistry between India and Jon! Wait, they can't do that, or can they? They are business partners. This is a wonderful story. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy, and I highly recommend it. Get it, and enjoy!

This highly entertaining story features Jon Anders Thorson and India Louise Ward. These two started a company together. He wanted her from the start and she thought it best they remain friends for the good of the partnership. Five years later and they're still fighting their attraction. It's the unexpected plot twist I can't tell you about that makes it all the better.

This fantastic friends to lovers story had me smiling throughout the book. The characters were fabulous and the story ran smoothly from cover to cover. The story line is great as it is, a friends to lovers, highly sexual story line and that made for a great weekend read but a little bit more drama would have kicked it up to a five star read for me. I love this authors writing style and I look forward to whatever is next.

MOST FRUSTRATING

book EVER! I truly hated India she got on my NERVES! I'm being generous with the rating and that's because of Jon...he had to love her FLAKY behind, instead of letting her go he stayed with her. Maybe he's just as silly. Awful book...don't waste your time. I literally skipped chapters by reading the first couple of sentences of a chapter and noticing no change in the UNREALISTIC DRAMA from India until the last couple of chapters of the book. Please do not waste your time...this is my first time reading this author and I was not impressed. I will try one more time (I may be a glutton for punishment my darn self) and will hope this was just a fluke - okay glass half full approach! 😉

Jon and India -both equally smart and long time business partners in a high tech lucrative business. What they have been avoiding for 5 years is a personal relationship because if it goes wrong , business one might too. Jon tries the take a chance approach without that one important word -exclusive. There is a lot of repetition as they wonder same thing over and over but give 4 stars for love scenes !

India is one sexy hot woman. Who needs to learn to trust. Jon is one alpha male. Who needs to trust. They make for one interesting couple. They both are keeping each other at bay for the good of not messing up there professional relationship. But there connection won't let them ignore there feelings for each other. Loved this story.

Did not Disappoint

Another great read. Marina, had my doubts but she came through. Thought she was meddling too much. I thought Cartier was the infamous blue box? Love the characters although the women seem weak and undecided. Wish the men in her books really walked the streets. Matched did not Disappoint. Jon and India what a match.

almost disappointing.

It would have been much better if this wasn’t stretched to the limit. How many times can the FMC be ‘unable’ to decide what she wants? Too many times for this reader. Should have quit this one earlier.

Fun read

Actually I didn’t expect to like this book because it’s written very young and modern. But I really enjoyed Jon and India’s secret love for each other and pent up se Hal tension. I did t like Marina til the end when learning her motive was as a friend after all. So while not deep and thought provoking the story was entertaining.

I was gifted with a copy of the arc for an honest review. This is it. (I also purchased the book) Scott has a winner. With building tension she brings the characters to life. She creates a world of high finance and budding relationships. The characters jump off the pages and into your heart. At times I wanted to throttle a few of the characters and at times I wanted to cry but through it all I kept turning pages because I just had to know how it would all work out. And isn’t that why you read a book? So, now go get this book and start the journey. You will enjoy it immensely. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Jon and India are two people that are business partners and great friends but are in complete denial about their feelings for one another. She thinks he's a player and he thinks she's too serious yet they are drawn to one another despite their best efforts. They weather meddlesome friends, gossiping co- workers and insufferable exes. Finally realizing how much they want each other they give in and it leads to something great.

This is a fun read, lighthearted and romantic. Characters are interesting even if you want to strangle a couple of them more than once. There's a bit of a twist at the end but it works well with the story.
