Teaching in America, Second Edition was written to meet preservice teachers' desire for an active learning text that presents current ideas about teaching in America today along with the underpinning foundations of education. The readers reflect and respond on the page to issues raised in the chapter thereby actively constructing knowledge and ideas about teaching.
