Bringing lovers together, one book at a time

The official stuff

Susan writes steamy, sexy and fun contemporary romance stories, some suspenseful, some gritty and dark and hopefully always entertaining. She’s also Editor in Chief at Divine Magazine, an online LGBTQ e-zine, and a member of The Society of Authors, the Writers Guild of Great Britain, and the Authors Guild in the US.

Susan is also an award-winning script writer, with scripts based on two of her own published works. Sight Unseen has garnered no less than five awards to date and her TV pilot, Reel Life, based on her debut novel, Cassandra by Starlight, was also a winner at the Oaxaca Film Fest.

The ‘unofficial’ stuff…

She loves going to the theatre, live music concerts (especially if it’s her man crush Adam Lambert or the divine Cumberbatch) walks in the countryside, a good G and T, lazing away afternoons reading a good book, and watching re-runs of Silent Witness and Wire in the Blood.

Her chequered past includes stories like being mistaken for a prostitute in the city of Johannesburg, being chased by a rhino on a dusty Kenyan road, getting kicked out of a youth club for being a ‘bad influence’ (she encourages free thinking) and having an aunt who was engaged to Cliff Richard

Susan Mac Nicol certainly knows how to write hurt/comfort and strong character driven plots. This ninth entry in the Men of London series is Kyle’s story, the manager of Ryan’s nightclub, Club Delish. The initial chapters run concurrently with book 8, although this stands alone quite well. But there’s also glimpses and mentions of several other characters from the series and those books are well worth reading. When Kyle and Eric get together, it’s a slow burn romance, as both have conflicting work schedules, between Kyle’s club hours and Eric’s job as a paramedic. Both men have troubling experiences in their pasts, and getting details from each guy’s POV, made it easy to empathize with them individually. It takes a lot of time for them to share their secrets.
Although Kyle’s history is traumatic, Eric’s memories create the most conflict, as he internalizes far more than even Kyle does. His job is also a big factor in how he relates to Kyle, and how he thinks. The relationship remains kind of tentative through most of the narrative, between the lack of time spent together and the obstacles of their own emotions. There was sex, although not a great deal of it and not the most passionate of scenes. I did have some trouble becoming invested in them as a couple. Their time apart was distracting, between Kyle and events at the club, Eric and crises on the job, plus lots of dialogue with other friends. The romance and strong emotion that I wanted to feel seemed to become lost in the action. I do think the slower pace in committing to each other reflected more realism than the instant love cure, seen in too many other stories. Their independent choices to find help was a nice touch, too. Susan’s fans and those who follow the series will quite enjoy it, as will anyone who prefers their angst without excess drama, and with conflicts that are realistic, with proper solutions and no clichés. Recommended.

Kyle and Eric have both been damaged by life, one by an abusive partner the other through a partner dying - these things both take their toll on the characthers. I found the author dealt really well with the issues - no magic cure, just patience, and therapy!

I have read this authors work before but this is my first in this series, I took to the characrthers well, yes I would have known the backstory to some of the extra characthers if I had read the whole series but I had no trouble following the story.

The author writes so well and immerses you in her story.

This is a heartwarming story, that runs fairly smoothly just a few little bumps along the way in this warm romance.

3 words to describe this book - Heartwarming, Immersing and Sexy.

Survival Game is book 9 in the Men of London series and runs along a similar timeline to Ryan and Mango’s story in book 8. This is Kyle and Eric’s story, two characters with very different pasts but quite similar baggage. On the surface they hit it off fast and they hit it off well but lurking just below are a myriad of problems that neither man is confident or comfortable talking about. When nightmares, overthinking and random everyday situations bring these problems to the fore both men are going to have to face up to their pasts if they want any kind of future.

Kyle is an interesting character and a man that hides behind a persona. Outwardly, he mostly, exudes confident businessman with a quirky sense of humour and colourful hair. Inwardly he is shy, nervous and often scared – he lives with sometimes debilitating PTSD after surviving and escaping from an abusive relationship and he is quite hard on himself about what he believes are his weaknesses. Kyle is vivacious and he desperately wants the confidence to ask and receive for everything he needs from a new relationship.

Eric is almost like a ticking time bomb that is running out of time. His past involves loss and grief that is still very real and raw and haunts him almost daily. He lives with a big sense of failure that is now spilling over into his daily life. His enthusiasm and joy that his job once gave him is gone and the daily grind just adds more pressure and increases the hollowness he feels. I think it’s mainly the guilt that stops Eric from reaching out for help and leaves him unable to talk about his past but when it starts to all become too much he needs to sort himself out before he scares away the man he is quickly falling in love with.

Together Eric and Kyle work well. They seem to recognise something in each other immediately and are supportive of each other without knowing the details. They both grow as characters throughout the book and they are the kick-start that each need to start the healing process that will mean they can leave their pasts behind and move forward with a life together. It’s not easy for either of them but nor is it all doom and gloom. They are hot, funny and sexy together.

Fans of this series will not be disappointed!

The Men of London series is a keeper, and Survival Game was worth the wait. I never tire of meeting the new characters and checking in with those in the past eight books. In this installment, we get up close and personal with Kyle, our club manager who works for Ryan (our hero in the last book, Hard Climate) and with Eric, a paramedic and Ryan’s friend. These two guys have it rough. Hard times dealing with PTSD, but imagine both guys suffering in silence. Note: this book runs almost parallel with Hard Climate.

Kyle had it rough, I mean any victim of domestic violence suffers, but I believe men suffer psychologically even more so due to the stigma attached. But seriously, his ex was a real piece of work. And Eric just about broke my heart clean in half. I cannot imagine the horror he went through with the loss of his partner. Truthfully, that was a heart-breaker. Combined, our protagonists are trying to move on and be a real couple. But first they need to get to talking and discussing their pasts. Not easy at all considering their jobs and the fact that they rarely get any face time.

This book has some hard subject matter, but Susan Mac Nicol handled it with compassion and dignity. We all love that elusive love story where everything is perfect and the birds are always singing, but that is not real life. Realism is what I love in my stories, and we get that in spades with the Men of London series. Being American, I used to struggle a bit with British slang, but I am getting better. There is quite a bit in this book, and I remember thinking that Susan let it all out on purpose, that she was not trying to fit a mold but be true to herself. Good for her. And, in a way, our guys did the same thing. They knew they had to be real to move forward and move forward they did, brilliantly. Highly recommended.

Overall Impression: I really liked it!

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the ninth book in the series - and it does not waver in its fresh look at life in London for this group of men living to the full. This follows on closely from Hard Climate, so I would at least recommend that you read that one first. The links to the other books are tenuous, but there for the fan to enjoy.

Kyle is a man who has suffered badly at the hands of his previous lover, and we learn very early on that he falls back into the nightmare when pressed. The set up is very clever, because the rest of the book the reader is waiting for the shoe to drop, just like he is. He is not however a coward, and loves his job with Ryan at Club Delish.

Eric had a brief romance with Ryan, but now he goes to Club Delish to see Kyle - and wonder whether it is time to move on from his past. Knowing that he too has a tortured past, gives the reader hope that the chemistry between Eric and Kyle may just give them both the future they deserve.

As always, there is plenty of passion, a large dose of drama, and the opportunity to make a life together - very satisfying read, thank you Ms Mac Nicol.

I love acrostic poems so here we go!

Susan Mac Nicol married clever dialogue and sexy scenes with the pain of the characters’ pasts beautifully.

Understandable angst, not contrived.

Realistic trials and tribulations

Violet eyes 💜

I loved Kyle. What he went through breaks my heart. I’m glad Eric is there to heal him.

Versatile MCs. Woo!

Although this book is a part of a series, it stands alone well.

Loved the lexicon.

Good similes. My favorite: prepping for anal described “like caressing clay.”

A few of the supporting characters didn’t resonate with me, but I’m thinking they may have been in prior books.

Mario deserves to be punched in the face. I realize he has psychological issues but I despise him.

Eric shows people who have lost their loves they can love again.

I am probably going to be in the minority on this book, however, it just didn't work for me. I truly enjoy this series and I will continue to read it, but this one missed the mark for me. I didn't connect with either Kyle or Eric, I wanted to, I tried, it just didn't work. Then Ryan gets sick and we all know him from a previous book and that seemed to be skimmed over or at least not enough time was spent on it for me. Kyle does have a touchy past and it could be a trigger for some people and poor Eric, I will say my heart broke for him when I read his first nightmare about Lincoln. Even though I didn't connect with the characters and it didn't hit the mark for me it was still a good addition to the series.

For me, personally, this is one series I'll never get sick of reading, it's THAT amazing!
In this we get Kyle & Eric's story.
Just like the previous books in the series it's not always an easy read but, and here's the thing, it really is a fantastically easy read !!
They've both been hurt in the past but in different ways and while they struggle with their pasts they also, with the help of friends, learn to love again. They've survived so much between them they have no option but to fight for and love each other. They definitely need each other to survive!
Absolutely loved it and loved who we got to meet the guys from the previous books too!
I do have to admit, there were a couple of scenes I found hard to read but, the way they were written made it easier for me.

I'm definitely in the minority with this one but just like the last book, it didn't connect for me. I'm not sure why but I was, dare I say it....bored. I liked the characters well enough and should have felt all kinds of things for them but I didn't. Could be me, for sure. I'm still enjoying the series so hopefully the next one will work better for me.

Susan Mac Nicol has done it once more. I have read all of the Men of London books, and reviewed quite a few, and I will tell you that this book fits into the series nicely, just snuggles right in there and makes a place for its hot, sexy self.

This is the ninth book in the series, and the beginning of the book actually runs parallel in time to the end of book eight, not because the storyline is continued but because one of the main characters, Kyle, is the manager of the bar where a good portion of book eight is set. Survival Game is Kyle and Eric’s story, and is truly a story of survival. Both men have suffered horrible trauma-inducing incidents in their pasts, and both men are still suffering the aftereffects. Mac Nicol has written a sometimes hard to read but oh-so-worth-the-journey character driven novel of two men who are survivors. The pacing is slower on this one, as both men have to come to the realization that healing has to start from the inside before the outside can even think about sharing the burden with someone else. We get a fair amount of both men’s POVs, and this really helps pull the empathy factor for them individually as well as a couple. I actually wish the pacing had been a bit more up-tempo. I got a little lost in the excess “noise” in each man’s life, but the storyline was truly believable, and it probably wouldn’t have been if the extra parts of their individual lives had been left out. The sexy times were dialed back a bit in this one also, Mac Nicol preferring to focus on creating a solid emotional connection between her characters.

Kyle would describe himself as a work-in-progress. He lives with a certain amount of PTSD brought on by being caught in an abusive relationship. Kyle lives with a hefty degree of self-loathing brought on by the fact that he didn’t leave his abuser sooner rather than later. Kyle is moving forward, little by little, and reclaiming his once vivacious personality. The colorful hair is back, the piercings are going back in, one by one, and he’s starting to look at other men again. He loves his job as the manager at Club Delish. He’s got great friends who are helping him move forward. He never in his wildest dreams would have made up a scenario for his life which would have included loving someone more messed up than he is. Drawn to Eric because of the way Eric cares for people, Kyle doesn’t realize at first how much Eric needs someone to care for him.

Eric is a paramedic. He’s a great all around guy hiding the secret that he’s dying inside. With his job, his PTSD from a climbing accident that killed his partner, and his refusal to get help, Eric is a mess inside. When the same scenario which took his partner recreates itself in his job, Eric is forced into the realization that he needs help but not before he starts to sabotage all the good things in his life, including his new boyfriend. Eric and his issues will break your heart. Eric only wants to do his little bit of good in the world, and he is carrying around a survivor’s guilt and an anger at his old partner, which is eating him up inside his head and his heart. And just when Eric starts to get help and turn himself around—bam—Mac Nicol throws Eric and Kyle into a situation where they are forced to finally face what they feel for each other.

Like I said, it’s a slow burn because both men have a path they have to tread before they can join together and walk as a couple. It just wouldn’t be believable if the characters did not take their individual journeys. But they are brought together with a hefty dose of attraction, love and a smidgen of humor (that calendar was amazing!). I absolutely recommend this book as well as this whole series. Mac Nicol has written stories about a colorful and varied group of men in London, and they are interesting and quirky and fierce, every one of them. Don’t know how many more books in this series Susan Mac Nicol will write, but I will buy and read every one.

Book: Survival Game
Series: Men of London Bk#9
Author: Susan Mac Nicol
Publisher: Boroughs Publishing
Pages: 172
Release: September 7, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Rated: Mature Content M/M

This last book for me to read in this series Survival Game Book #9 could not have been better. Kyle is the sexy purple eyed, purple haired manager of Ryan’s Club. He is certainly hot, but now we learn of the damage. Susan you ripped my heart out for him!

Eric lost his love in a terrible climbing accident. Saving people when he couldn’t save his lover is how he tries to make up for the loss as a paramedic. The two are brought together in book #8 when an ambulance is called for Ryan at the club. Their schedules almost come between them, then their issues, then Cupid does his thing and it’s on!!!

These two were something together. Kyle suffered from a lover who was an abuser. He now still has PTSD flashbacks. Eric still can see his lover falling from his arms down a mountain and his guilt that he lived makes what he does saving people good and bad. These two deserved so much better and together they will find it!

I have gotten in touch with the author Susan Mac Nicol and thought it would be fun to add to this review. I have asked her 3 questions about this series…let me share her answers with you….

1- What character did you fall in love with writing?

I must say I adored writing the character of Leslie in Suit Yourself. I am a HUGE Adam Lambert fan and as I wrote this feisty, cheeky diva called Leslie Tiberius Scott, I could see Adam’s influence, especially in the looks department. 😊
Leslie tended to bring out the mothering side in me, as he himself is quite the little mom figure, looking after everyone else, especially Oliver.

2 Who was the hardest character to write?

I think the toughest one to write was Jax from Damaged Goods. Not only did I have to dig deep into the past and bring out my inner teen (and boy was that a long time ago!) with all the emotional angst that went with it, I also had to learn what it was like to be poorly-sighted and make allowances for this in the story.

3 Will there be another book?

I don’t want to say no, because I do have a plan for another book bringing Louis from Survival Game and Callum, the rock star from Hard Climate together. However, in all honesty, I have no idea when this might be. My writing schedule is pretty much scheduled up till 2020 as things stand with everything I’m working on. So unless I win the lotto and am able to give up the day job, this book isn’t going to happen soon.

Thank you so much for joining me in this review……

My Rating: 5 of 5 Stars

It's been some time since the last Men of London book had been released and now that Survival Game is finally here, I just had to read it twice. Yes, it is THAT GOOD!

Well, this is the story of Eric and Kyle, whose romance didn't really start off that well. There was a bit of miscommunication and that sort of thing, but thing is, this is a story that reads so real. There is no flimsy, rose-colored lens type of romance going on. This is not one of those yada yada hohum stories that one can dismiss as an M&B type of thing if you know what I'm talking about. This is a romance that only a Mac Nicol can deliver and she never fails on that point. Once you start reading, that's it, you're lost in the world of Kyle and Eric and the romance they brew.

Now, this is a story that develops, so although it doesn't crawl, one could categorize it as a slow burning process. But fear not! It does not crawl like a bug, think more like an ant that eats its way up your body and before you know it, wow! the history stings for both men, and you cry a little, die a little, and yet, despite the tears, you smile big because, well, they deserve their happiness so much it hurts.

Although a long time coming, this installment to the series is one that was worth the waiting. The other men come back in cameo appearances, and well, you smile if you know them. It's nice seeing the others come back and say their peace about Kyle and Eric's romance. There is also a backend story about Mango and Ryan. For those who follow this series, you'll realize that this and book #8 sort of intersect which makes the waiting even more worthwhile.

Men of London the series is one that I can never hope to escape from. The author keeps saying this is the end, but nope, there are too many men in London whose tale need to be told and Mac Nicol delivers brilliantly each time.

Can't wait for the next one!

I was gifted my copy of this book, that I write a review was not required.

Book 9 in the series, but they can all be read as stand alones. I've somehow managed to miss reading book 8, Hard Climate. It overlaps a little with this one, so I've had spoilers for that book, but I don't care. I LOVE LOVE this series!

Kyle left Vegas and returned to London after he managed to get away from his nasty piece of work of an ex. He's a little wary now, but paramedic Eric makes him feel himself again. But both Kyle and Eric have skeletons in their closets, and its a matter of whether they can both overcome them.

I loved this one! Well, I loved most of them but the damaged characters Ms Mac Nicol writes about are the ones who get me the most.

Both guys are dealing with PTSD, and they know it. They know at some point they are going to have to open their hearts to someone new, but both are wary of being hurt again. Understandably, when you read WHY each man is so wary. But their feelings creep up on them and I do love it when emotionally damaged characters finally let some one in. Makes me cheer!

Ms Mac Nicol's levels of research never cease to amaze me. Research into Eric's work life. Into Kyle's former job, and what happened to him in Vegas. How Kyle was reacting to Eric now. Such high levels of research do not go unnoticed, and I noticed.

The screens between the guys are hot and steamy, but also sweet at times, to enable Kyle to get used to Eric. You feel for them, you really do, and in a way only Ms Mac Nicol can deliver that feeling.

Certainly sitting way up with Feat of Clay as my stand out favourites of the series.

Thank you, for my copy!

Cover Love: I think the cover is delish, but the title being bold helped bring it together.
Susan Mac Nichols is an auto buy author for me and I love the Men of London series. Thi one has a lot of Ryan and Mango from book 8 plus a few cameos from the other books, but the book stands alone nicely.
Survival Game is Kyle and Eric. Kyle's ex was abusive and left him fearful and broken. he keeps his identity hidden hoping that he won't come after him. he is careful of dating since he doesn't want to get hurt again, both physically and emotionally.

Eric has a secret from his past as well. He lost the love of his life but something about Kyle touches him the more he talks to him and goes out with him, the more he wants to be with him.

I love this series and each book I say I love the main characters more. I have to admit the same here. Both Eric and Kyle touched my heart. I love character driven stories and this one is amazing. Kyle, even though he has issues, is cocky, to the point goes for what he wants.
Eric is a sexy paramedic and more laid back than Kyle so the two fit perfectly. Eric's job adds some action and tension to the story and Kyles card tricks add some fun, His best friend that visits adds a touch of humor and lightness.
If you are looking for a fun, fresh story, like sexy paramedics, hot croupiers, and club managers, drag queens, and some hot man-sex you will love this book
I highly recommend it.

3.5-4 stars. I’ve decided as one of my new year’s resolution that I’m going to try and actually write reviews/more in depth ones(?).

-x

This book is the first book I’ve read in this series, and it seems like it can be read as a stand-alone, although there are characters that show up in assuming are from a previous book.

It becomes clear right after being introduced to the two MCs that both of them have problems that they need to deal with. Kyle, who is recovering from a relationship with an abusive boyfriend, and Eric, who is trying to do his job as a paramedic. Eric’s job is taking a toll on him and because of the stress, he will sometimes let loose anger when I’m another stressful situation, which triggers Kyle.

I’m writing this a few days after reading the story, and I’m having trouble picking the plot out from my mind. What I took from reading it was Kyle and Eric dealing with their demons in their own way, and becoming more interested in one another as the story progresses. I do remember Lucinda, and she was great, cheering Kyle up when he needs it and being someone that Kyle can confide in.

Ryan and Mango appear here and there throughout the story and I think they have their own story, and I’m interested in perhaps reading that book.

I was glad that Eric was able to find another job to do. One that lets him be able to find more time for Kyle and a job that won’t cause him as much stress as he had been going through.

Although very emotional this story is bliss to read
Kyle has been hurt badly in the past which made him return to the UK after being a croupier in Las Vegas. But he was glad to be back working as a manager of a famous gay bar in London and he worked for his best friend Ryan. But Kyle wanted more he was lonely he worked a lot of hours but sometimes he just didn’t wanna go home to empty house. Eric was Ryan’s friend and Ryan is Kyle‘s best friend so they had met before but nothing had ever really happened So when Eric comes into the club looking for Ryan but told that he is busy at the moment he invites Kyle out for a drink.
Eric has got so much pain within himself over an event that he could not seem to get past. But he was surprised to feel that sparkle when he was with Kyle. These two just work so well together but sometimes the past can play with your mind and it could get in the way of things. So this is about these two overcoming past events to be together
I thoroughly enjoyed this book I just could not put it down and read it well into the night. I really liked Kyle and Eric they just seem to bounce off each other. They just needed to communicate better. What a brilliant story I have enjoyed the series so much and cannot wait for the next book.

I'll admit that I started this book with a bit of trepidation. I didn't notice until I was ready to start reading that it's the 9th book in the series and was worried that I'd be lost. No such problem here. The story works well as a standalone and while I'm sure that some of the characters are from past books, I had no trouble following Eric and Kyle's story. I will say that I found the secondary characters interesting enough that I will be checking out the rest of the series.
Both Kyle and Eric have troubling back stories that tug at the heartstrings and have each of them being cautious in matters of the heart. Even with past troubles and caution, this pair is quite good together and I couldn't help but root for their happily ever after. The story is very well-written and while it is an emotional tale, there is some wonderfully witty dialogue and moments of levity to keep it from getting too angsty.

This is the first book I've read by Susan Mac Nicol, and I'm hooked. Survival Game will twist your insides and feeling a whole gambit of emotions. Kyle's life hasn't exactly been easy and he is scared of being hurt again, but he still longs for love. Eric is learning there is more to Kyle than he realized and he likes the hidden Kyle. Eric just wants to protect him, to love him, and Kyle wants to be loved and safe. Can they find what they are looking for in each other?

This is book #9 of the series, but like I said, I haven't read any of her other books and I was able to easily read it without any issues. It can be read as a standalone. The characters were complex and multi-faceted. The story is well-written and isn't just a simple love story. There is so much more to it. It's the layers that make it interesting and keeps you enthralled. 4.5 stars. I highly recommend you one click this today.

The Men of London series quickly became a must for my summer reading list in 2020. Finally at book 9, I've been introduced to another couple, Kyle and Eric.

Eric Kirby is a paramedic who lost the love of his life. Not really feeling like himself anymore, he spends each day alive, not living. Will he ever come out of this slump and find the happiness he desires?

Kyle Tripper is a purple haired manager at Club Delish. The former in his life wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. Having endured a horrific nightmare, just managing the survival is taking its toll. Can Kyle move on, trust another and live again?

The moment Eric lays eyes on Kyle, he's interested. But he also has a brief past with Ryan. The chemistry is off the charts between Kyle and Eric. Seeing past the scars and building together will be a challenge worth taking.

Wow. Kyle and Eric are beautiful and both make a great match. A story that makes you feel what each has gone through and still are. Kyle is delightful and so is Eric in this story.
Kyle was a person you couldn't forget especially with his purple hair earning him a nickname violet. He was the Club Delish nightclub manager for Ryan. Things get really busy at the club when Ryan takes a trip to the hospital needing Kyle to take over for awhile.
Eric was a tired Paramedic looking forward to his time off. Eric had every intention to go the club and see his friend Ryan and hoped he see a sexy Kyle there too.
A fantastic story and you get to reacquainted with past characters of previous books..

I was gifted this book, and boy I loved it!!!
The Men of London series is always fascinating, and Book 9, Survival Game did not disappoint. In this book, the reader meets new characters as well as ones from Susan’s previous books. Overcoming one’s demons and finding love is truly fabulous. I really enjoyed this instalment, and highly recommend this series to those readers who are romantics and root for a HEA. Great Job Mss Susan…I can’t wait to read your next book!!!!

This is the first book of the 9 books series I got to read and I immediately put the others on my TBR-list.
It is the story of Kyle and Eric, one who had to deal with loss and the other who has been hurt in the past but still both are trying to find love again. Despite the obstacles put into their paths, they fight for their love and sanity and they have to fight hard.
The story made me sob and lough out loud like many of the authors stories do. I always enjoy the read and really recommend it if readers search for stories of struggle, difficult decisions and people who are in search for true love.

Again, a good, well written book from this author! Nice plot, good characters, enough tension. Author doesn’t avoid writing her main character sometimes even a bit frustrating to deal with - they really are persons. I thought this would be a standalone, and I was a bit confused of all the names from the previous books.

Eric and Kyle were wonderfully well-written characters, just as I have come to expect from this author, and I really enjoyed watching the work to make their relationship happen. Another great addition to the series.

Kyle last relationship was abusive and he still had nightmares. Eric was in a loving relationship but lost his lover in a mountain climbing accident in Nepal and he has nightmares. They meet through Kyle's boss and are attracted to each other but can they overcome their pasts. I really enjoyed this book.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Ryan met Eric at his nightclub and Ryan hired Kyle as his Manager at Club Delish. Eric noticed Kyle and Ryan introduced both Eric and Kyle and left them two to their own devices.

Ugh.... The tears, so much angst. I loved Kyle & Eric, they were both different & went through a different trauma on their own, both heartbreaking. Those men went through hell & I'm glad they found each other & got help & talked it out. Beautiful & heartfelt story, loved it!
