Cockloft
A firefighter term used as a structural space above ceiling and below rafters, often connecting adjacent occupancies and permitting fire to spread laterally, often unseen.
Gabriel Martinez is the most arrogant and infuriating man I’ve ever met. He has a knee-weakening smirk that makes me want to kiss—no—slap it off his rude, sexy face. Judging by his ego, you’d think the hose in his pants is as big as the one on his fire truck. Not that I know anything about that nor do I want to. Nope, not at all. He’s already been forgotten like last season’s Michael Kors.
CeCe Kensington is as pretentious and spoiled as they come. The ridiculous purses she shoulders around are as big as her attitude. And don’t get me started on her mile-long legs or full, glossy lips that are meant to be wrapped around a guy’s… If she only knew the dirty things I think about doing to that sassy mouth of hers, she'd be hightailing it back to her side of town.

No, just plain NO. NOPE.
I don't care HOW important a memento is to you, you simply do NOT hang around in a building on fire to retrieve it before evacuating and then think the firefighters are assholes for judging you.
YOU have put the firefighter's life on risk because of your materialistic approach. He is in a burning building risking his life rescuing YOU because YOU couldn't evacuate when necessary because you're dumb.
Not only did she waste time to look for the memento, and relaxingly thought the fire would wait for her, then she demanded time to dress up, then demanded to take the front door, then refused to take the ladder or the harness. All while this guy was risking his life.
And to have the hero apologise later for judging her! ARE. YOU. FUCKING. KIDDING. ME?????
WTF are you apologising for? To snap at her because she won't leave her purse behind, an action that might have killed you both??? So the purse was the last gift given by her father, how does that change ANY of the FACTS?????! Does it change the fact that she's a spoilt bitch who almost got you killed because she refused to get evacuated as per normal? No!
And to have the hero apologise to her made the whole firefighting thing a joke!

I've read a lot of K.C.Lynn's books and most of them were complex, with a very challenging plot. Unfortunately, it was not the case for "Cockloft" and I was very disappointed about it.. For the ones that read "Beautiful Insightful" by the same author, I have to admit, I didn't but the pieces together and realised that the secondary characters were THE Ryder and Emily from the book. It just didn't clicked in my head and I was very amused when realising it, by 98%:)))
So, CeCe and Gabe live very different lives. She runs her fashion boutique, has a small dog and was brought up in luxury, while Gabe, a firefighter, was always poor, but with a big heart, noble, a person who always took care of his family and put his needs in second place. They met in an unfortunate night, while CeCe's building was on fire and needed to be evacuated. Gabe was the one who took her out of the apartment and practically forced her to get out immediately because of the danger. She wouldn't want to go, not after taking her big sized purse with her, making Gabe believe she is spoiled and superficial.
After things didn't start on the right pace, CeCe and Gabe always bumped into each other and while they were hitting daggers only by looking at one another, at the same time they were extremely drawn together by this palpable attraction. Both of them were very sassy and stubborn, never giving up and wanted always to have the last word. Eventually, they will start a very hot and steamy relationship, that will develop into something very strong, but because of their social and material differences, their love will be tested.
Don't get me wrong.. The book was cute and with very interesting and HOT scenes, but it was kind of it... I liked Gabe more than CeCe because of the way he confronted life and social barriers, because being a minority is something very difficult to handle, but that was the only message you receive from the book. Hw was also judgemental towards CeCe and believe a lot of things about her that later were false. It is true that growing up wealthy gives you advantages, but she managed to grow on her own, not depending on her parents. It felt very normal, just like hearing someone talk about 2 friends that met each other and fall in love and had to surpase boundaries to be together, but only that.
I expected something more challenging, more complicated, with a more complex twist that unravels you and makes the characters stronger in their relationship. The book had a natural course, an extremely predictable one which consisted in a good and relaxing read, but I know I'm repeating myself, only that.

Their attraction just sparked right off the pages and I loved that they had so much chemistry. In all honesty I was nervous that Cece really would be just a stuck up snob, but that wasnt the case. She was definitely a little spoiled but it was never in an annoying way and she was still independent.
I devoured this book and couldn't get enough of the story. It's a big recommend for me if you're looking for a steamy story with some amazing characters. I hope there will be more to come for some of the secondary character so I'm off to stalk the author now to find out if there will be.

Oh, boy!
It's official. K.C. Lynn was abducted by aliens along with my other fave authors Amy Harmon and Mariana Zapata.
I've rated all Lynn's books with 5*. That's how much I adore her. But this. Cockloft I don't know what this was.
I've never disliked Lynn's heroine before. But CeCe. Oh, God! She was a mix of

I couldn't connect with her. At all. I can't even write all the shit that came out of her mouth or her head.
Let's just say
The hero was okay, I guess. He was very possessive and a dirty talker. That was a plus.
IMO the book lacked character and plot development. I give 3* for some humorous scenes and the smut I enjoyed. I'm sorry to say that this is the first book by this author that did not work for me.

Geçen aylarda sevgili Gökçe'nin yorumundan sonra bir heyecanla indirmiştim Cockloft'u. O heyecanla da bir gecede bitirmiş, keyiften dört köşe olmuştum 😂 Çünkü Cockloft aşırı eğlenceli ve okuyucuyu mutlu eden kitaplardan biriydi bana göre.
Normalde İngilizce kitap okuyanlardan değilim. Kendimi yeterli düzeyde görmemekle birlikte, aşırı duygu yoksunluğu yaşıyorum İngilizce okurken. Ama Cockloft'un hem dili kolaydı hem de şaşırtıcı bir şekilde okurken kalbimi pır pır ettirdi.
Kitabımız, bir gece yarısı apartmanında yangın alarmı çalan CeCe'nin, daha önce çalan yanlış alarmlar yüzünden bıktığı için bu alarmı takmayıp uykusuna devam etmeye çalışmasıyla başlıyor. Ancak şöyle bir şey var ki çalan alarm bu kez doğru çıkıyor ve CeCe köpeğiyle birlikte dairesinde mahsur kalıyor. Onu kurtarmak için gelen itfaiyecimiz ise CeCe'yi acele etmesi için uyarıyor ancak CeCe çok sevdiği marka çantasını aramakla meşgul ve bu çantayı almadan evden çıkmak istemiyor. İtfaiyeci ile yaşadığı büyük bir laf dalaşı başlıyor ve en sonunda çantasını almadan gitmemek için direnen CeCe'yi yakışıklı itfaiyecimiz sırtına attığı gibi dışarı çıkarıyor. Köpeği ve çok sevdiği marka çantası ile tabi ki. Haa bir de kızın üstünde sadece ufacık bir iç çamaşırı varken.
İlk karşılaşmaları olaylı başlayan ikilimiz, birbirlerinden aşırı etkilendiklerini fark ediyorlar sonrasında. Ancak şöyle bir şey var ki ikisi de tabiri caizse ayrı dünyaların insanı. CeCe, prensesler gibi yetişmiş, çantalara ve ayakkabılara düşkün bir butik sahibi. Zengin, gösterişli ve tam bir pembe aşığı. İtfaiyecimiz (ayrıca İspanyol 😭😍) Gabe ise, kenar mahallede büyümüş, kendi kendine yetmeye çalışan bir adam. Hayatlarının bir noktada kesişmesi mümkün değil anlayacağınız.
Ancak tahmin edeceğiniz üzere tesadüf eseri ortak bir tanıdıklarının doğum gününde karşılaşıyorlar ve böylece ilişkilerinin temeli atılıyor.
Cockloft'u bana sevdiren yegane şeylerden birisi CeCe'nin kitap boyunca kendini kabul ettirmeye çalışmaması oldu sanırım. Sevdiği şeylere sonuna kadar bağlı bir kadın ve bunun için utanmıyor. Çantaları seviyor, pembeye âşık. Sığ bir karakter değil. zgüveni tam. Gabe ile olan ilişkisinde kendini saklamıyor. Ne istediğini, ne sevdiğini kitap boyunca erkek karakterimize açık açık söylüyor.
Kurgu öyle büyük heyecanlı bir kurgu değil. Tam anlamıyla klişe bir romantizm hikâyesi. Çerezlik ama insanı boğan, "Meh!" dedirten bir çerezlik kitap değil. Eğleniyorsunuz okurken.
Kitapta kadın karakteri ne kadar çok sevdiysem erkek karakterimiz Gabe'e o kadar sinir oldum. Kitabın taa en başından beri CeCe'ye ön yargılı davranıyor. Kadın karakterimiz kendini savunmaya gerek duymadığı için de bu ön yargı kitabın sonuna kadar devam ediyor. Burnu bir güzel sürtüyor o ayrı ama kendini küçük gördüğü için CeCe'ye karşı bir tavır alması her ne kadar mükemmel sevişse de benim için eksi puandı. Zaten kitap için puan kırmamdaki tek sebep bu davranış biçimi oldu.
Cockloft, Türkçe'ye çevrilir mi zerre fikrim yok. Ancak çevrilmesini isterim ben. Eğlenceli, komik ve bittiğinde gözlerinizden kalpler çıkaracak bir kitap. Türü içinde başarılı olduğunu düşünüyorum.

OVARY EXPLOSION AND FALLOPIAN TUBE RUPTURE ALERT!!!
GAH! Cockloft slayed my heart and soul.It's electrifyingly sexy, amusing, hilarious, with a heart. I couldn't put it down, I finished it in an hour and have been rereading since. KC Lynn burned up the pages, knocked me off leaving me picking up the pieces of my ovary and fallopian tube at the same time fixing my jaw and desperately in need of more Gabe and Cece! Be still my beating heart but these two characters just made the hell out of an impression. I am in awe KC Lynn! You never really ceases to amaze me. I love them both and I love this book so much I wanna hug, squeeze you so tight and kiss your beautiful face.
Let me continue by saying, everytime I read KC Lynn's books, it took me a while always to write a review. It was just so hard for me to convey my emotions into writing that every time, I just stared at my screen full of emotions but nothing to write. I just thought, that maybe because I am overwhelmed with so much emotions or probably because my heart is still pained I haven't recovered yet. Because let's face it, KC Lynn's works always made us cry and wrenched our heart out. Often times were left with a book hangover and puffy eyes.However though, Cockloft is a different genre and still I had the hard time writing a review. I guess I could say it's not about how emotional the book can get that's why I had a hard time. More like it's always KC Lynn's writing and her story telling as well as the weight of the words that factored in. Yes, she can write and to be honest, I just wanted to leave it here or more like leave a one line review saying - Read the book because it's perfect, excellently written and showcased not just the character's journey but the also the author's magnificent talent.
Yes, right from the very beginning I could not help but fall in love with the story immediately. I was sucked right into it and I have been enjoying my ride until the end. I love the characters. Gabe and Cece are two poles apart but holy guacamole they just just fitted perfectly. I felt an instant connection with them too. They're oil and water yet their chemistry was off the charts. Their banters made my jaw hurts for laughing all throughout. I just love them both BIG TIME. Who wouldn't? Cece is a heroine I wanted to be or maybe just friends with. She's this woman so sassy and fun she made me crack everytime. Damn! Even her inner thoughts made me chuckle for real. The hilarity of her actions were just something worth rereading. Everytime I think about it, I can't help but smile. And.. I wanna own all her purse!!!Then here comes Gabe! Lord, he's so bad for my sanity and my well being. My ovary and fallopian tube were long gone! My God!!!! This man is every woman's wet dream. I admit I always rooted for fire fighters but his character here just made me love fire men even more. His caveman nature made me want to be bad so he can spank me later and do bad ways on me with his dirty mouth telling me all dirty kinds in Spanish. Good thing I have a big ass huh?
Seriously though, I love this book and would definitely recommend it. It's another side of KC Lynn but all the same perfectly written. It's fast paced, short, sexy and hilarious with a slight drama but again, with KC you know it's full of heart. I love it to bits of pieces and 5 stars is not enough to rate it.
Great job as always KC Lynn! I enjoyed my ride with Gabe and Cece. I do not know how you do it, but woman you've got magic in your hands and vivid imagination. Perhaps it's your big heart that's showing in your works I guess? Whatever it is, you're magnificent! I can't wait to read more of your works!

I want Gabe to throw me over his shoulder.
I really enjoyed this book. I luvd it from the start. Gabe is just so sexy and very gorgeous plus he's a firefighter. How can you not like and luv him and he talks Spanish how sexy is that. The way him and Cece met was so funny. There dislike and banter they had going on was so funny. The attraction was strong from the start even though Gabe had mixed feelings about her. She came from a background he totally hated and could stand. But the spark was to strong and bumping into her everywhere didn't make this better.
Cece is a great character. She has had to deal with some really crappy things but she is still holding her head up high. Her dad was her idol he meant the world to her and not having him around was so hard for her. She definitely didn't need hot sexy fire fighters judging her. But getting Gabe out of her head was hard. She didn't know why he was acting so horrible but she wasn't going to take it. Even though she could stop thinking about all the time.
These two are smoking hot together. Even when there fighting with each other there crazy hot. There little nicknames are so cute they had for each other. Ye there world's are totally different but they were made for each other. I really luvd both characters. I couldn't get enough of the story once I started it. I would highly recommend this book. There wasn't a thing I didn't like about it. I m a huge fan of this author.

Sevimli bir kitaptı. Eğlenceliydi.
Klasik romcom gibi :) Kızımız zengin, babasının prensesiymiş bir zamanlar, zengin, bir butiği var, modaya ve markalara aşık. Butikte de marka şeyler satıyor.
Oğlumuz itfaiyeci. :D İtfaiyecilere ayrı bir hayranlığım vardır * smirk * :D Meksikalı (Meksika + Porto Riko yumyum) Şehrin daha fakir kesimlerinde büyümüş ve zenginlere karşı bir antipatisi de var yaşadığı bir şeylerden ötürü.
Bir gün kızın kaldığı apartmanda yangın çıkıyor, kız da dolaptan çantasını bulmaya çalışırken adam gelip bunu çıkarmaya çalışıyor ve bir türlü beceremiyor, kızın maddiyata çok önem veren yüzeysel bir zengin kızı olduğunu düşünüyor. Sonra zorla çıkarıyor camdan, merdivenle, kız sadece iç çamaşırı içindeyken :D:D:D Daha diyecek bir şeyim yok.
Kadın karakterin özgüveni, kendinden taviz vermemesi güzeldi, sevdiği şeylerin yüzeysel görünmesine izin vermeyen, gerçekten iyi bir karakterdi.
Erkek karakteri de sevdim.
Aralarındaki şeyin hızı biraz fazla olmuş olabilir ama yine de tadı güzeldi :D

Bir gün kızın kaldığı apartmanda yangın çıkıyor, kız da dolaptan çantasını bulmaya çalışırken adam gelip bunu çıkarmaya çalışıyor ve bir türlü beceremiyor, kızın maddiyata çok önem veren yüzeysel bir zengin kızı olduğunu düşünüyor. Sonra zorla çıkarıyor camdan, merdivenle, kız sadece iç çamaşırı içindeyken :D:D:D Daha diyecek bir şeyim yok.
Kadın karakterin özgüveni, kendinden taviz vermemesi güzeldi, sevdiği şeylerin yüzeysel görünmesine izin vermeyen, gerçekten iyi bir karakterdi.
Erkek karakteri de sevdim.
Aralarındaki şeyin hızı biraz fazla olmuş olabilir ama yine de tadı güzeldi :D

I laughed so much at the beginning of this book and swooned so hard at the end!
Cockloft was perfect and just what I was looking for to lift my mood and get me out of a reading funk.
“For your information, this is a Vera Wang original that has yet to hit the market. It’s made from vintage silk.” “Yeah? Well, I think little Vera needs to take a trip down to the fucking Wal-Mart and scope out the silk they have there instead of ripping people off.”
A fashion boutique store owner and a hot firefighter. I loved these characters. A total unexpected bonus was discovering Emily and Ryder in the plot from Beautifully insightful, I loved that book hard so it was great to catch up with them as well as discovering the sassy CeCe and hottie Gabe.
"His eyes sweep over me from head to toe, making every cell in my body tingle with life. The magical bastard. How does one possess such control over another’s body without even touching them? It isn’t right."
An enemies to lovers romance that will have you laughing out loud at Cece's sass and Gabe's cocky comebacks.

His lips curl into that infuriating yet sexy trademark smirk of his.

This is what I needed in my life! A dose of KC Lynn magic and my funk is over! I was sucked in from beginning to end; I couldn't stop laughing and I swooned so hard for Gabe Martinez😍I'm stingy when it comes to giving 5 stars but this book can have them all! I can't wait until KC's next book. Definitely a top favorite book of mine that I will be rereading soon💙

Tam yaz işi okumalık, insanın suratına bir tebessüm konduran, hem eğlenceli hem romantik hem tatlı bir kitaptı :D
Apartmanında yangın çıkan CeCe aynı şey daha önce de yaşandığı ve olay yanlış anlaşılma olduğu için önce sallamıyor alarmı. Sonra bakıyor ki olay ciddi hemen dolabına koşuyor ve çantasını kurtarmaya çalışıyor :D Kendisi içeride bu kadar oyalandığı için bir itfaiyeci onu dışarı çıkarmaya geliyor. Bir de bakıyor ki sarışının teki üzerinde külot-askılı iklisiyle çanta derdinde. Gabe hemen kıza eksi notunu veriyor laf çakıp duruyor ama ona bakmadan da duramıyor :D Sonra kader bu ikisini bir araya getiriyor, Gabe de kadere müdahale etmeyi ihmal etmiyor ve hikayeleri başlıyor :D
Her ne kadar kulağa öyle gelse de CeCe salak, şımarık bir kız değil. Kendisi için özel bir önemi olan çantayı arıyor orada :D Ve dik başlı, dediğim dedik ama bir yandan da ponçik. Gabe'i görünce aklı başından gidiyor ama gururu da elden bırakmıyor. Gabe ise başta eksilediği kızı sonra nasıl kovalıyor.

2.5 falan... Okumasam da olurmuş dedim. Hiçbir derinliği, hiçbir olayı olmadan yazılmış bir kitaptı bence. Neden çevrilip basılmış onu da anlamış değilim açıkçası. Daha güzel kitaplar bulunabilirdi. Neyse konusundan bahsedeyim biraz. CeCe adında bir kızımız var bir gün oturduğu apartmanda yangın çıkıyor. İlk başta komşunun çocukları yapıyor diye düşünüp yangın alarmının sesini dikkate almıyor ama sonrasında gerçek bir yangın olduğunu fark ediyor. Ve yangından kurtarmak istediği tek şey köpeği ile pahalı bir el çantası. Bir itfaiye eri evine girip onu kurtarıyor ve dışarı çıkartıyor. İlk başta birinden nefret etselerdi sonrasında birbirlerine karşı çekim duyuyorlar ve bir şeyler hissediyorlar. Yani bunlar zaten bilindik şeyler, çantanın ne kadar o kadar kıymetli olduğunu da anlayabiliyorsun. Kitapta tahmin edemeyeceğin hiçbir şey olmuyor. Smut sahneleri bile o kadar yazılmak için yazılmış ki zevk alamadım atlaya atlaya okudum. Erkek karakter Gabe'in ailesini okuduğumuz kısımlar çok güzel olsa da babasının geldiği kısımlarda ailenin verdiği tepki çok sinir bozucuydu. Onun dışında erkek karakterin sürekli kızın fiziksel özelliklerine vurgu yapması ve zengin diye aşağılık komplekslerine girmesi biraz itici olmuş. Neyse ki sonu güzeldi beğendim ama o bile yarım yamalaktı. 😅

KC Lynn is my go to Author every book and i do mean every book is a hit for me and now i get to add Cockloft to my collection.
I devoured this book i was sucked into the story line. Immediately falling in love with the characters and could not get enough of the love/hate and hilarious relationship that CeCe and Gabe had.
Cockloft is a fun, flirty, smokin' hot, humours read. It's low on angst and high on chemistry. We get sexy as sin firefighter Gabe with a cocky attitude and dirty mouth to match. And sassy and oh so fabulous boutique owner CeCe. Giving us an explosion of chemistry and humour from the very first moment they meet.
The insta lust quickly develops into so much more when they realise that they click on other levels too. More so for Gabe after quickly misjudging CeCe and realising she's nothing like what he was expecting. They’re from different walks of life, but it doesn’t diminish the growing feelings they have for each other. Doesn't the saying go opposites attract.
There was so much to these characters and KC Lynn portrayed them beautifully. How she manages to pack so much depth and feelings into one book is beyond me. Her books always have the ability to make me swoon, laugh, cry and fall in love.

HELLO HOT ALPHA MALE!! Whew!! This book was hot hot HOOOOT!! As always K.C Lynn DOES NOT disappoint. I love how we even see some characters from other series in here. Like Kayla even if it is just a second she's there. Can't wait to see if she adds on. I love me some firefighters. CeCe reminded me of Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde. And the guy I kept thinking Aaron Rodriguez. I believe that's his first name. The guy from CSI Miami. But more alpha male. Loved it. Pick up your copy today!!

Holy hot tamale!!!! COCKLOFT was so electrifying it set my heart aflame!!! I am already a huge fan of K.C. Lynn's books but when I heard she was penning a sexy opposites attract Rom-Com featuring a hunkalicious Latino firefighter I was on cloud nine!!! And even though this book is a departure from her angstier military romances, I found it UTTERLY and COMPLETELY delightful!
This novel has a pitch-perfect blend of smolder, sweetness, swoon, lol humor, and heart-tugging tenderness. But first and foremost…the H&h have five alarm chemistry and combusted from the VERY START! And OMFG…talk about a hysterically funny “meet cute” moment that will go down in record as one of my top faves!!!
When Gabriel Martinez’s unit is called to the scene of an apartment fire and orders CeCe Kensington to evacuate her building, the less than cooperative “spoiled rich girl” tries his last nerve—AND heats his blood—when she is more concerned with rescuing her “monster" designer purse than fleeing to safety!! Suffice it to say you have one majorly pissed off fireman—and one equally indignant heroine who does NOT appreciate his bossy, high-handed ways!! Yummmm!!!! But even though these two are like oil and water their irresistible attraction Cannot. Be. Denied.
Gabe and CeCe are opposites in every way imaginable--she is a "prissy" high maintenance boutique owner whose smart alecky attitude camouflages an achingly lonely heart, and he is as humble and proud and arrogant as you can get! Not to mention FIERCELY PROTECTIVE to the core!! But even though they get off on the wrong foot, and RELISH pushing each other's buttons, they soon learn that there is much more to one another than meets the eye. Ultimately, the magnetic pull between this tempestuous duo proves too tantalizing to resist and they can't help but fall head over heels for each other.
I L.O.V.E.D the flirty banter between “Blondie” and “Fireboy” —they play off each other beautifully��and their love scenes are DELICIOUSLY DIRTY and SCORCHING HOT. These adorably sexy bedmates really know how to burn up the sheets! And despite the fact that they come from two entirely different worlds, which causes a nice amount of friction throughout, they complement each other PERFECTLY!
As with all of Ms. Lynn’s books, family is pivotal part of the story, and I got such a kick out of the big boisterous Martinez Clan! Proper homage to his Hispanic culture is infused flawlessly into the story and.. sighhhh…I melted into a PUDDLE every time Gabriel crooned to his “Bella” in Spanish!!!
One of my fave things about K.C. Lynn’s novels, aside from the scintillating sensuality, uber macho alpha heroes and sweet and sassy heroines, is that she ALWAYS delivers on the feels. And even though this is on the lighter end of the spectrum, she still totally nailed it with this book. There is rich poignancy and believable drama interspersed with the comedic charm, and I felt the whole gamut of emotions throughout! I LAUGHED. SIGHED. SWOONED. SHIVERED IN DELIGHT. GUSHED LIKE A GIDDY SCHOOLGIRL . And yes, even SHED TEARS OF JOY during that EPIC fairytale ending!!
Kudos on this fanfreakingtastic novel, K.C. Lynn! Now bring on the Creed Brothers!!!

Not to mention FIERCELY PROTECTIVE to the core!! But even though they get off on the wrong foot, and RELISH pushing each other's buttons, they soon learn that there is much more to one another than meets the eye. Ultimately, the magnetic pull between this tempestuous duo proves too tantalizing to resist and they can't help but fall head over heels for each other.
I L.O.V.E.D the flirty banter between “Blondie” and “Fireboy” —they play off each other beautifully��and their love scenes are DELICIOUSLY DIRTY and SCORCHING HOT. These adorably sexy bedmates really know how to burn up the sheets! And despite the fact that they come from two entirely different worlds, which causes a nice amount of friction throughout, they complement each other PERFECTLY!
As with all of Ms. Lynn’s books, family is pivotal part of the story, and I got such a kick out of the big boisterous Martinez Clan! Proper homage to his Hispanic culture is infused flawlessly into the story and.. sighhhh…I melted into a PUDDLE every time Gabriel crooned to his “Bella” in Spanish!!!
One of my fave things about K.C. Lynn’s novels, aside from the scintillating sensuality, uber macho alpha heroes and sweet and sassy heroines, is that she ALWAYS delivers on the feels. And even though this is on the lighter end of the spectrum, she still totally nailed it with this book. There is rich poignancy and believable drama interspersed with the comedic charm, and I felt the whole gamut of emotions throughout! I LAUGHED. SIGHED. SWOONED. SHIVERED IN DELIGHT. GUSHED LIKE A GIDDY SCHOOLGIRL . And yes, even SHED TEARS OF JOY during that EPIC fairytale ending!!
Kudos on this fanfreakingtastic novel, K.C. Lynn! Now bring on the Creed Brothers!!!

5 Opposites Attract Stars!!

OMG! OMG! KC Lynn has done it again. Just when I thought I was never ever going to get out of my book funk, this little beauty landed on my kindle. And let me tell you, seeing this baby on my kindle was the like the cherry on a chocolate sundae. My day was brightened and my mind ready to devour this book.
And let me tell you, I did just that. I devoured this book in just four short hours. Four Hours! From the moment I picked up this book, I was sucked into the story line. I immediately fell in love with the characters and could not get enough of the love/hate relationship that CeCe and Gabe had. Their banter and chemistry was off the charts. Their words and interactions calling to me, demanding that I give them my full attention and devour every word of their story. And devour it I did. From a fun and flirty story-line to an amazing opposites attract chemistry, I could not get enough. I mean this book had everything and more. I laughed. I got emotional. I swooned and fell head over heels in love.
Cockloft was just the story that I needed to pull me out of my book funk. From brilliant writing to fun characters to hotter than ever sexy good times to moments that left me with all the feels. Cockloft was the absolute perfect read to spend the day getting lost in. I absolutely loved it!

I hate to be the Debbie downer, but I didn’t enjoy this as much as I thought I would, I’m unsure if it was my mood or the hype about the story… legit at 40% I was finally able to get into the story.
But by then I guess the story was almost over.
This book, had some great humour and some great swoony moments and as always, the sex rocked!
Cece in the beginning annoyed me, but then she grew on me, WHAT I really LOVED was Gabe. I loved his fine firefighter #ass, he won me over with his Spanish I want someone to talk dirty sweet nothings in my ear like him.
The banter, push and pull in the beginning was annoying thankfully it stopped a little bit by the time I was enjoying it.
Cockloft is a Rom-Com, sweet romance with a character you have meet in the book in Beautiful Insightful, and now it is time for her to find the HEA she deserves.

I've been waiting for CeCe's story since Beautifully Insightful and K.C. DID NOT disappoint.
Not only did I fall in love with CeCe even MORE, but now it expanded after meeting new characters. Particularly with the sexy Spanish speaking Gabe. The chemistry between him and CeCe was muy caliente !!!
I will say one of my favorite parts was being reunited with Emily and Ryder. Oh how I missed them so!!! I also feel like K.C. should get a kind of award for her epilogues. She ALWAYS has the best ones and I ALWAYS cry my eyes out. Until the next K.C. Lynn book....
