Elena has had pretty bad luck with men so far to date. She is trying to get a divorce from her mean, never loving pastor of a husband, one who used her and faked loving her- her ex-husband who is definitely refusing to make this divorce easy and simple and all about super hard. After a super horrible date gone wrong, Elena goes home and tries to forgot about that evening. She is home one evening when she hears someone in her garage like a break in attempt so she calls the police. After the police show up, she sees a familiar face- her soon to be ex brother in law Leo.
Leo and Elena haven’t seen each in in years-not since her wedding since Leo and his brother Barry do not get along. Since Leo is a detective on the police force, he is the one who shows up and is shocked to see Elena and gets an even bigger shock when he sees what is scratched into her car. Leo is very protective of Elena and the heat/chemistry between these two is intensely steamy. He is very much an alpha male while Elena is an independent woman; this means these two will collide and I love the fireworks that come up between them…the witty and sexual banter that erupts. Will Leo be able to figure out who the person is that is stalking Elena? Will Leo and Elena end up together and getting an HEA?
I loved this story, the passion- the heat and the intensity along with a fantastic plot. I look forward to the next story by Alexis Angel.

B.I.L.F. is definitely a book I would give five stars. Dark Angel has fast become one of those author teams that I eagerly anticipate what will they bring us next. They didn’t disappoint with this story, I have laughed, I have cried tears, and I have gotten busy with this book.
I loved how Elena the main female lead struggled with her life and the decisions she has made, it wasn’t all mmm I have divorced one brother let’s move on to the next, there was genuine emotion shown in the writing, something you don’t always get in this type of genre. I also have to say Detective Leo Winston of the Havenfield Police department makes my mouth water, as well as other body parts.
If you want a sexy, passion and lust filled read this is the book for you, there is some bad language and lots of amazing sex but there is also a great story that will take you on a journey of love and heartbreak and surprises.

Elena might have married the wrong brother. When she calls the police after hearing strange sounds at home, Leo, her brother-in-law, comes to investigate. Things have fallen apart between Elena and her husband Barry, and they're in the middle of a bitter divorce, but Elena can't help the thoughts that fill her mind when she sees Leo. This book has a way of getting under your skin, and the heat level rises quickly between them. Definitely panty-melting and fun to read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Sexy Brother-in-Law detective, yes please!!

This story is so hot it almost melted my Kindle. Elena is having a bad night, she went on a date and the guy is a real douche. He tries ordering her a salad and more wine, complains about how expensive the restaurant is and just acts like a total jerk. Elena decides shes had enough and quickly pays for dinner and politely trys to exit from her date, telling him she has an early appointment. He grabs her by the arm and tells her hes not done with her and that she will regret walking away from him. After the craptastic date, Elena has to go to her lawyer's office the next morning to try to get her divorce finalized. That meeting goes to crap when her husband's lawyer tries to tell her that her husband is seeking damages due to her ruining his reputation by divorcing him. She goes to work and just can't concentrate due to all the crap going on in her life. Her boss tells her to go home and relax and come back fresh and ready to work. While Elena is trying to relax at home she hears noises coming from her garage and starts to get a little freaked out. She ends up calling the police and she sits on her front porch steps and waits for them. When the two detectives show up at her house she notices one of them is her brother-in-law, who she hasn't seen since her wedding years ago because the brothers don't get along. So when the detectives open her garage they discover someone has scratched "you're mine" on her car. This freaks Elena out and she tells them about her crappy date and that it could be him who did this to her car. Leo, Elena's brother-in-law, is feeling very possessive of her and really wants to keep her safe and claim her as his. Grab this book and find out if they catch Elena's stalker and what else they get up to. This book is hot, intriguing and an all out thrilling story. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a hot, sexy, intriguing read.

In this book we have Elena, who is going through a bad divorce from her husband Barry. Barry excepted Elena to be a dutiful 19050's housewife. However, Elena has a mind and body all of her own. Barry is a pastor, who believes that having this divorce will ruin his 'image' that his flock may see him in.

Elena goes on a horrible date with a douche that tried to grab her arm at the end of the date, and told her she was making a horrible mistake in leaving him.

Elena has a stalker showing up at her house and business, leaving nasty notes and message's, and leaving her roses, saying that 'you are mine'. Leo is there to protect her of course. They aren't sure who the stalker is. Hopefully Leo will be able to find them sooner rather than later.

Leo, is Barry's brother, making Elena his ex-sister-in-law technically. Leo is also a police officer. When Elena contacts the police department to send someone out to her house, as she thinks someone is in her garage, Leo show's up with his partner Bobbi. Bobbi instantly see's Leo's lights lite up when he is around Elena. Leo know he has it in for her, when he contacts her a few days later asking where she is and goes to her work to make sure she is doing ok. Elena & Leo go out to lunch she can tell that Leo is the protective type of male.

I wanted to love it…

BILF started out with potential, I even got excited about a bit of suspense happening and how our strong heroine, Elena, was not about to take this lying down while someone makes an attempt on her life. She just never expected the hot cop who shows up at her door would be her soon to be ex brother-in-law. They never got to acquaint themselves at Barry and her wedding, but this chance meeting had Leo’s protective instincts kicking in when he finds out she might have a stalker.

In light of Elena and Barry’s failed marriage, Barry takes every opportunity to humiliate Elena for her career and even the divorce proceedings. He’s shown his true colors, and he’s not the man she thought he was. Liked the connection between Leo and Elena.

I love my romances plenty steamy, but I also want a story with characters, the romance and a plot I can dig my teeth into. Disappointedly, the further into the book I got the more the story was inundated with too many sex scenes. I know, right?! I love smexy goodness, but dang. I can’t believe I said that...but there you have it. It was obvious sex overtook the the bulk of the story. I even accepted the insta-love but when you get “I love you’s” without any reason why, it’s not very satisfying.

A sexy second-chance romance…this time with the right brother…

I received an Advance Reader Copy for B.I.L.F. written by Dark Angel and voluntarily reviewed this book. One of Havenfield PD’s most dedicated detectives, Leo Winston, responds to a call one evening, a woman who reported burglary and potential stalking. What he did not expect was the fact that this woman was married to his brother Barry, at a wedding he had attended years ago. So many questions and this incident targeting her had him on high alert. But another thing he did not expect…how he felt about her once he set eyes on her again, for the second time in his life. This time, he was going to make her his.

Elena was stuck in a loveless, sexless marriage with Barry. Now she is separated and trying to move on with life and career. Frustration rules while trying to negotiate the divorce proceedings with him, because he was intent, apparently, on smearing her name as well as taking advantage of her timely promotion at work. Now, this act of vandalism, out of nowhere, has her mind reeling. But what Elena IS clear about is how drawn to her brother-in-law she is…

We have suspense with a whole lot of sexiness in this story - an entertaining read!

When Elena hears something in her garage, she call the police and two officers come. When they open the door someone wrote on her car and it unnerves her. Leo is very protective of her and the attraction between these two is so hot and sexy. He's an alpha male and she is a strong woman which I absolutely love. Will they catch her stalker, who will it be? Will Barry finally let her go? All you have to do is click the button and purchase this book, you will not be disappointed. Beware, it's hot and steamy. This book grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go until the end...and then you still want more!! It may melt your kindle....like all of the naughty angel books may!!

Elena is a strong woman. She is going through a divorce with her husband, who is a pastor. They both have different views on things like work and Elena has had enough. Her work is going well and she is ready to move on going on dates. However, after one bad date and then an ugly mediation between her husband and lawyers she comes home to find her garage broken into. She calls the cops and this is where she runs back into Leo, who happens to be her brother in law. Leo is a good guy, who devotes himself to his job. Running into Elena is like a punch to the gut. He has loved her for years and when he discovers that his brother and her are getting divorce now is his chance, yet someone is out to get Elena. Can he protect her while trying to have a relationship with her. I loved the story. Leo and Elena had such great chemistry together. I think these two were made for each other and complimented each other in so many ways. I really enjoyed this story and I look forward to the author's next one!

Was an ok read

I really looked forward to reading this, but once I started it I got board fast. The story had a lot of repetition in writing and scenes. I didn't connect to the characters I felt more like I was watching a mini series. I found myself skipping pages to speed up the love scenes and repetition. The story line was good but could of been better (more story).
Overview. Elena is going through a divorce. He soon to be ex is strange. He (Berry) did provide love, sex, or allow her to work or dress nice. Now he wants to be compensated for them divorcing and dragging his character (pasture) down. Elena refuses to pay and leaves her lawyer to deal with him. But now she has a stalker bugging her. When the cops show up, it her brother in law Leo. Leo has always liked Elena but stayed away since him and Berry didn't get along. But now her wants her and to protect her. But the stalker is getting the best of both of them.

I liked the idea of this book. The h marries one brother and things don't work out. While trying to finalize the divorce, the h ends up in danger and the second brother is the cop that shows up to the scene. She had only met the second brother once since the brothers weren't close. The h and the second brother have intense chemistry and begin falling for each other. At the same time he's trying to keep her safe from the threat they've been unable to find.

Although I did like the idea of the storyline, the story itself isn't my favorite. The instalove was way over the top. The second brother is immediately ready to kill whoever is trying to scare the h, and I kept waiting for him to just pound his chest and drag her by the hair to his cave. The descriptive romantic scenes were more eye rolling than seductive. I mean seriously, nowhere is the term "hot box" sexy. The inner dialogue is repetitive and I started skimming halfway through to see how it ended.

What can I say this book was so good that the parts with Elena’s ex husband being a douch bag and giving her a hard time while going through the divorce process makes it all worth while, so going back out on the dating scene she meets Darius and he is such an arsehole throughout dinner that she leaves but he is not finished with her and starts to stalking her and after hearing noises in her garage she calls the police and who should show up but her ex’s husbands brother Leo she didn’t know he was a cop and what fine specimen he is and all thoughts of the intruder goes out the window because all she can think of now is how good the sex would be with him and seeing the lust in his eyes for her it won’t take too long. Can Leo keep her safe with the stalker getting closer by the minute and can they have a relationship when the hot lust for each other burns out or will it just get better and better. Get this book you will love it.

Not as dark as I was expecting from Dark Angel but a good book regardless. The sexy scenes were red hot and I was extremely jealous of Elena. Leo was a machine! Anyway, the ending wasn’t quite what I expected but I liked it. I think I would be interested to see Elena and Leo show up in another book later on so we can get a small update. I would recommend to readers who like their books HOT. Happy reading!

Elana has terrible luck in the men department and when she is in the process of divorcing Barry who by the way is a moron she hears something in her garage and her best friend gets her to call the police and she gets to see Leo again Barrys brother who is the complete opposite of his brother and will do anything to protect Elana.This was an awesome read I loved it .The chemistry has always been their between these two and acted upon its explosive.I voluntarily read a readers copy of this book on booksprout

This is a spicy read. Elena, depressed that her love life is in the crapper, finds herself attracted to her brother-in-law, Leo. What follows is a sexual awakening for Elena, who basks in the knowledge that she is finally good enough. However, someone else wants her for themselves, and Leo finds himself fighting to save the woman he's fallen for.

I enjoyed and was intrigued by the suspense/drama plot in the book more than by the love story itself. I liked the excitement.

I recieved the book free for my honest review. When you look at the cover you would think it is all about the sex, but this book has so much more. The sex is great, and it is sure to get you hot and bothered,but there is a real story here. Lots of action, Elena is being stalked, and Leo is just the detective to help her. They can't help but notice the chemistry between them. Elena is getting divorced from Leo's brother, and they both realize she married the wrong brother. But who is stalking her and can Leo save her before she really gets hurt?

Better than I thought

This is the first time I've finished one of the "Angel" books. They're usually awful from the beginning. I don't like reading sex scenes outside the relationship because it detracts from the main characters ' relationship with each other. I don't want to "see" either of them do anything sexual with anyone else. Other than that, the book was okay.

This was a DNF for me at approximately 35%. I got so tired of the MCs having too long inner monologues about how hot or perfect the other was. I just couldn't connect with the characters. In the end I just skipped ahead to get to the end of the "mystery."
