2019 - Bk 28. I was introduced to this author in October of 2018 at the WKU Young Adult Book Festival. It was an amazing day and I am slowly working through the books I purchased there. I am not a scientist, My scientist/teacher friends would like this book. It is a mystery shown through the eyes of two cousins. Just about everything they do in their lives breaks down into a chemical formula, from painting to, well no, that would be a spoiler. Let's just say if you like fighting green radioactive monsters, built in night vision, and the ability to move really quickly - and cool grandmothers, you'll love CheMystery.
Oh - and for those students into quizzes - I just wrote the quiz for the ReadnQuiz program. This graphic novel is worth 12 points - although the real value for the book is its wealth of science information shared in a fun format.
