They call me The Wolfe. I hunt women the way a wolf hunts lambs. And I just found my latest prey. She’s a long way from home. We meet on the plane. And there’s nothing as vulnerable as a girl who’s homesick after her first trip abroad. The girls I’m used to want my money and my looks. This girl is too innocent for either of those things. She wants me because of the way we lock eyes. The way we instantly hit it off. The way we seem to have been made for each other. And I want her because I’m The Wolfe. I hunt innocent young women like her. It’s what I do.

This is so gross. Lucien (H) is some frat boy. At the beginning all we see is his sex escapades. Twosome...threesome.....yuck. He is a fucking manwhore. He meets Scarlet (h) at the airport. Scarlet is a very sheltered girl . She is unexposed to bad things as her mother was overly strict and controlling. Even after meeting Scarlet, Lucien is not pursuing or chasing her. All he is thinking about is his parties. And the parties are worst parties like virgin parties, where a guy has to bang a virgin and bring her panty for proof. Scarlet is obviously a virgin. So you get the idea what all this shitty book is about. Scarlet is quite horny about Lucien. She is a desperate girl. She even fantasize (explicit) about him during a class where he is sitting besides her. He is a dumb fucker who goes week without talking to her and she is waiting for his calls.
I'm not interested in stories where the H doesn't give much shit about the h. And the h in turn is desperately horny about the H. And even initiates the sex.
This is one of the best books I've read in a long time, it's written so well! I couldn't put it down, I read it in one sitting! In the future I will expect a lot from the author. I like heroins that are strong and Scarlett in this book is very naive and innocent in the beginning but she changes. That is because of her sheltered past. But it suits her and the story. Lucian is an alpha that tries to take what he wants. He gets possessive and protective towards Scarlett and I like that in a hero. The story has love, heartbreak, flirt, cuteness, passion, emotions on fire, hot scenes and lots of chemistry. Both main characters have a lot to fight with from their past and experience but the grow through the story. It is a very refreshing and different story with an edge. The story was captivating and one of the better I have read.
I voluntarily read this ARC and this is my honest opinion.
This is my first read by Blythe Reid and I wasn't disappointed, when I first started I wasn't too sure about it since the characters were seniors at NYU so I thought it was more of a YA read. I was pleasantly surprised and soon forgot about my doubts and got engrossed in the story about a frat party boy, Lucien, who also happens to be the pres of his house and the young woman, Scarlet, who has always lived under her mother in France, more like a prisoner, until she moves away to be with her grandmother and go to school. They meet at the airport returning to New York and Lucien latches onto the beautiful young woman right away. They met up again when they have a class together and soon they are inseparable. Until Lucien gets scared and her mom wants her to return to France. A great read with steamy scenes and at first I did not like Lucien, he was your typical frat party male sl** that only cared about himself but it was interesting to read how he changed and not right away but the gradual maturity he finally seemed to develop, even though he didn't want to accept it at first. Scarlet finally free from her hold her mom had on her, blossoms into herself and finally becomes a woman. The ending and epilogue made me smile my cheeks hurt and I'm glad I took a chance and kept on reading. I was just hoping to have more clarity on why her mom was like she was and what happened to her even if just briefly. *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
This was an interesting read. I was engaged from the beginning of the book to the end for the most part. I enjoyed the characters Scarlet and Lucien. They both have a lot of growing up to do. Lucien is stuck in playboy ways with his last year in college looming. He goes on vacation in Paris, France right before heading back to school and parties and sleeps his way around for a month. On the plane ride back, he meets and helps out Scarlet. He can see her innocence and something about her just draws him in. He doesn't think much about it being different and pretty much plans to keep to his old ways. Scarlet thinks Lucien is really sweet. She has been sheltered up to now and is looking forward to living a little but of course nervous. As I mentioned they both have a lot of growing to do and we get to see some of it, I would have liked to have seen a little more though. There was plenty to keep me reading it though and it was entertaining. It was a smooth read and went by fairly quickly for me. The sex is explicit but not explicit in a lot of scenes. There's some more foreplay scenes and as Lucien was a big player, sex (talk of sex) does play a part in the story. It's where he needs to grow relationship-wise. I liked the extra epilogues. They were a nice touch. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This is my first book by this author and I must say I enjoyed it. I think I was expecting something different from the book blurb. Lucien is the president of a fraternity and he and his best friend are spending a month in Paris before their senior year. They are both hound dogs but toward then end Adam admits he may have had enough. Lucien too had enough but has a rep to uphold so he plays it off. At the airport they meet Scarlet, a sheltered college student who is heading to New York to help her recently widowed grandmother. Lucian immediately is attracted to Scarlett and thinks she'll just be another notch for him. Scarlett can't believe how hot Lucian is and that he is talking to her. As their relationship begins the reader can see that Lucian is changing and you hope that it is for the better and he won't hurt Scarlett. There were some twist in the story - the first party of the semester, Adams telling Lucian he would hurt Scarlett and her mother freaking out. This was a good story and I will read another story by this author. I received this book and am leaving an honest voluntary review.
A chance meeting in a Paris airport leads to love, heartbreak, and self-discovery in New York. Lucien is everyone's favorite playboy. He's charming, confident and sexy. Women love that about him, and he knows it. He was in France for vacation, but now he's headed back to NYU for his senior year. Scarlet has spent 21 years in a bubble because her mother is overprotective. When Scarlet's grandmother (living in NY) needs help around the house, Scarlet volunteers to move from France to help out. Her mom doesn't want to let her go to NY, but her grandmother convinces her mother to reconsider. I haven't read many New Adult/College romances, so finding this book was really by chance. Blythe Reid has written an amazingly sweet romance about young love. Red and Her Wolfe really captures the insecurities, uncertainties, and all-consuming love/lust that comes with first loves. It's a change from my normal reading and very refreshing. Red and Her Wolfe is well worth the read. An ARC Review

Lucien is a manwhore through and through. Elected president of his fraternity, he plans to make his last year of college his most debauched year yet. But when he meets innocent Scarlet, he doesn't know what to do with her. Scarlet is sweet and a bit naive, but she has an inner strength that will serve her well as Lucien figures out just what he wants out of his life. As he gets to know Scarlet, he knows he needs to change his plans and become the kind of man that deserves a woman like her. This was a sweet fairytale-themed love story about a young man who needs to get his priorities straight and the young woman that inspires him to do so. The writing was captivating, the characters were engaging, and the story moved right along. As a YA romance, this is one of the better ones. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I was provided an Advanced Review Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a "fairytale" unlike other fairytales. Our Author, Ms Reid, wrote a delightful story that connects the old world (France) with the new (NYC), and Sr. yr college students named Scarlett and Lucien Wolfe. There is a Grandmother of Scarlett who lives in NYC and she is the cool granny unlike her mother who is overly strict and protective. Lucian is President of the Delta Pi Fraternity. It is that fraternity that connects the Grandmother, Mother, Scarlett, and Lucien. It is also how this fraternity and the mother interferes with romance that must be resolved in order for the HEA to occur. There are some hot steamy sex scenes that will curl your toes or grab your significant other :^} I highly recommend this book. The author has done a great job with the plot-line and character develop. Enjoy!
This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed this book, Red and her Wolfe. Scarlet Timms lives with her controlling mother in France, so when given the chance to go stay with her Grandmother in New York she eagerly takes it, hoping to finally have some freedom to live her life. Lucien Wolfe is taking a month long vacation with his friend Adam when, on the last day, they bump into Scarlett while waiting for their plane. What starts as an innocent exchange quickly becomes more when both Scarlett and Lucien discover that they not only go to the same school, but have a class together. As Lucien struggles to keep his newly discovered feelings for the quiet beauty separate from the way he usually acts with women. Will Scarlett be able to tame the wolf inside Lucien? Or will the pair be forever doomed to be apart? I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Her whole life Scarlet was sheltered and never allowed to learn about life outside her mother's house. Lucien is determined to avoid is future at his parents future, but with one year of college left, he's determined to live it up. The instant he spots her, he changes. When it comes down to crunch time will Lucien ruin everything? Will Scarlet ever get her happy ever after she read in books?
This book is a mix of sweet with a side of steamy. Loved Scarlet's outlook on life and how she was determined not to let her mother's opinions push her to be afraid. Lucien definitely proved different than I originally thought at the beginning and glad he got his head out of his ass before it was to late. Good book and would definitely read this author again!

Yet another book with outside of the relationship sex...
I almost stopped reading in the first chapter, but I pushed on. I have 0 interest in reading sex scenes between one of the main characters and someone other than the other main character they end up. It's not hot, it's gross. It takes away from the story. I get that characters aren't usually virgins when they meet the love of their life, but that's better vague and in the past, not a detailed sex scene. The sex scenes in the best books occur only between the characters that are intended to end up together. I never enjoy books that go this route nearly as much as I do others. It detracts from the story and discourages me from reading more books by such authors, which will be the case here.
Scarlett has been sheltered all her life and wants anything to get out of France. Lucien is a playboy who wants to have fun and spends a month in France until he has to head back to NYC. A chance encounter has Lucien helping Scarlett and the whole flight they kept talking and enjoying each other's company. Lucien will infuriate you and will have you swoon, how he treated Scarlett was absolutely wrong and you can feel the hurt that Lucien inflicts on Scarlett. Can Lucien convince Scarlett that he made a mistake or will he live with regret forever?

An interesting take on the Little Red Riding Hood tale. The author did s good job with the storyline; the characters felt a little like cardboard cutouts to me--but they kept the story moving. Scarlet's mother was really a mystery to the reader. Her character definitely needed more explanation. Plot twists...none really. The story was really predictable; no surprises there. HEA? Of course...it's almost a given in today's romance novels. You'll totally fall in love with the extended epilogues. ❤️ (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and enjoyed it.)
This is the first time that I read a book by Blythe Reid and to be honest, I thought it was okay. I am being completely honest because that is just how I review. I had a hard time getting into the book and I had to put it down and go back to it. When I went back to it after the second time, I made myself continue to read the book because I truly think it's a well written story, the characters were well developed after time and the book got better the more I read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
This didn't have near enough angst or compelling writing. Scarlet was bland and he was as well which for douche is saying something. And for a guy who I had to read about screwing other women for the first twenty percent of the book I wasn't sure why that was really needed, it wasn't like it was hot neither was sex with the pathetic heroine. The secondary characters were bland as well - Adam, Lexie and even the grandmother and mother. Add in I generally loath man whore and virgin books, especially ones where she is basically a doormat. and well.....
I really enjoyed this twist on Little Red Riding Hood. Scarlet and Lucien were so cute together - and hot. I love when the bad boy meets the right girl and he suddenly will do anything for her. Lucien went from cocky frat boy to a guy with the heart of gold. I really enjoyed this story and devoured it in one sitting

This book was cute. I liked these two together. It was missing drama though. I thought he would be more of a dog. I mean he was but that was before her. I kept thing for someone who is president of fraternity house that no girls were after him. But I've read so many of the college books (not from this author) lately that it was a nice change that it was a love story and no cheating. This book has romance and sex.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book...
Wow! This is my first time reading this author and I wasn't disappointed. I will definitely be reading more by her. I loved this story! The plot was interesting and well-developed. The storyline flowed smoothly throughout and kept me hooked from the very beginning. The characters were well-developed and easily relatable. I fell in love with this book and had to add it to my personal Kindle library!
This is my first Blythe Reid story and I can honestly say that I really did enjoy it. There were some parts that I did question, like Adam changing his attitude during the trip in Paris about women and then you have to wonder why Scarlett is the way she is. So there is a uniqueness to this story and for me it made me want to read it even more. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.
This is the third book in the Kingdom Series. This book features Evan, the big bad wolf and Violet. A spin off on Little Red Riding Hood and is a little dark. Well written with well defined characters and a storyline that will keep you interested. I received an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review.
Scarlet is definitely a naive girl but she really changes Lucien after they meet at the airport in France. I truly felt the emotions in this story, as well as the heat between these two! I think I learned the upside and the downside to fairy tales with this story.
Young love and finding your way shine through in this book.
I received an ARC for this book.
I have never read a book by Blythe Reid, but I must say that this book has made me believe that she is someone that I want to see much more of. Once I opened this book I couldn't put it down. I read page for page straight through.
I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. There's a lot to this book that was enjoyable and entertaining. I found the gradual maturity in both, but especially Wolfe's character, very realistic. It would have been nice to see what made Scarlett's mom the way she is. The epilogue was a nice touch and wrapped up the story quite well. Recommended.
This book made me smile, cry and yep, sweat. Innocence and experienced, total opposites drawn together like pieces of a puzzle. A totally fresh and modern rendition of Little Red Riding Hood. Great college age read, with maybe some suggestions, smile. Red and her Wolfe left me wistful and yes hopeful of their future. I voluntarily read this ARC in exchange of my honest review.
This book is well written and I liked its intriguing storyline and all the characters, except one. The only character that I didn't like was Scarlet's mother. Unfortunately, it was never explained in the book what made Claire so paranoid.
This is a really good coming into your own story. Scarlet is shelter and naive and Lucian is your typical college frat playboy. Through their relationship they Both of learn what it means to be an adult. I freely reviewed this ARC.
This was a story about immature, innocent 22 year old girl moving to NYC to go take care of her grandmother. She meets Lucien, the president of a Frat house on her to NYC from France. Scarlet was worried & excited about the trip. It is a story of college and love at that age.
