Weasel never thought staying away from Renee, the sister of Vengeance, a fellow Patch of the Soldiers of Wrath MC, would be easy. But he did it because that’s the right thing to do. At least he thought it was.
He didn’t care that the club looked down at her because of some bullshit concerning Vengeance and words that had been said. Weasel didn’t care because he wanted her and had for a long time.
Now that she was back in town and staying for the unforeseeable future, he didn’t know if he was strong enough to stay away. Especially when he just made a deal with her that would have her moving into his place.
That was a temptation he may never be strong enough to curb … one he didn’t know if he would deny himself.
Renee knew coming to see her brother Vengeance unannounced might not have been the best idea. She’d said horrible things to him, offended the MC by those words, and she also would see Weasel.
The man she’d been secretly in love with.
Not letting her heart fall any harder than it has for Weasel is easier said than done.
Especially when the truth comes out.
Renee needs to figure out if she can handle what’s thrown at her, or if running away is the best option.

This is the eighth book in the Soldiers of Wrath MC series by Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent. The earlier books in the series were much better it's like the authors are just phoning it in now. From reading the prior books I would've thought Weasel was in his 20's. I was shocked when I read that he was about to turn 40 because he seemed so immature. All the members of the SOW are brothers but Weasel and Vengeance are best friends, having known each other for many years. Renee is Vengeance's younger sister and the only family each other has. But a few years ago she started dating Jake and he poisoned her mind against her brother and the SOW. She said some horrible things to Vengeance and then her and Jake moved to Europe. Turns out Jake is a liar, cheat and complete POS and Renee moves back to the states. She misses her brother and knows everything that happened between them was her fault. When she gets a voicemail from him she makes the first move and goes to the clubhouse to see him. I wasn't buying Weasel and Renee as a couple, their attraction seemed forced. The whole book annoyed me and when it wasn't annoying it was boring.

This was a good read but it was not written in that same caliber as all the other books in The Soldiers of Wrath MC series. I was please that Nerd finally got his own story with Renee (Vengeance's sister) and Renee and Vengeance making up after an awful argument that damaged their relationship.

This series is Awesome. Every single one is good, however this one was not my favorite. I enjoyed the storyline. Weasel has had feelings for Renee for some time, and when she and her brother Vengeance had a falling out and she left, he was the one who tried to get them talking and get her to come back.
Now Renee is back and she knew she messed up. She said harsh words to her brother and left and insulted the club with her words. So for her coming back she wasn't to comfortable, as she didn't know how she was going to be received by the club. And also she was coming back and she couldn't wait to see Weasel. The man she always had feelings for. But will he except her being back and how will the club feel about her being back.
I enjoyed this story, but felt it lacked a bit of the Biker drama and excitement. Was a good romance story, but I wanted more grit and drama and excitement.

Soldiers of Wrath MC series has always been gritty and dirty just how we like it. The Harder They Fall takes a different turn and focuses more on the love story and less on the MC side this time. Don’t get me wrong, I still really enjoyed the story and found this was more about being brave and strong when it comes to facing up to feelings you have had for years. To a big alpha biker like Weasel this was something far more scary than facing off against a rival club. With Weasel and Renee having been best friends for years and Renee being the sister to one of his closest club brothers, this was always about putting not only your heart at risk of being hurt but being rejected by the ones you had considered family. Definitely a lighter read than usual for the series but one that still held my attention from start to finish.

Renee is a nervous wreck. She said so every mean things to her brother Vengeance and his club brothers, including Weasel. Weasel the man she has been in love with for as long as she can remember. Now he only thing to do is make amends and hope her family will forgive her.

This was a quick, okay read. It didn't have a lot of the excitement and drama that the author normally has in his books.

Aww, great read.
Weasel and Renee have loved each other for years. A falling out and untold feelings have kept them apart for just as long. When she finally comes home to mend fences, can they finally be together forever?
I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Renee and Weasel (wish we knew his name) are one hot couple. Renee made some mistakes and came home to fix her broken relationships. Weasel finally claimed his woman and dedicate his life and love to her.
Great addition to the series.

Oh wow !! I've got all these good feels running through me !! So glad we got Weasel and Renee's story . They've been in love with each other for years. Renee left over a dispute with her brother and the club. Now she's back and Weasel has been waiting on her. A fantastic story that is a joy to read !! Very hot as well !! 🔥🔥

Falling for your club brother's sister can only mean trouble but Weasel doesn't care he has wanted Renee for years and when she returns to town he finally gets his chance. This book is sexy but is also a tale of finding forgiveness for family and for yourself.

I really like the story about weasel and Renee. I see this series as a story of family in Friends. It looks like I'm going to have to start another series.

I love this series, but this book wasn't my favorite. Though I do love Weasel. He was amazing. Even though, I wasn't happy about him fighting/trying to ignore his feeling for Renee, but when he was in, Weasel was in. Meaning he loves his girl completely, with his whole heart and soul.
But Weasel wasn't the only one fighting with his feelings for years. Because Renee though for them being together is impossible, made some mistakes in the past. Which affected not only her but her brother, Vengeance, the club. And while I was ok with it mainly, after all we all we mistakes and all that, but Renee still didn't put big girl panties to rectify it on her own. She needed to be pushed by someone taking the first step. I like my heroines to be strong. While Weasel saw it in her, I on the other hand didn't.

Weasel and Renee had feelings for one another for a long time. So you know what happens when two characters "love" each other but can't be together. You guess it they're with others. Can't stand that. I'd rather lose a friendship then not admit my true feelings.
I would have liked a recap or whatever argument she had with Vengeance. She's "oh no they'll never accept me again" but Vengeance and even Demi. Have no problem with her return. Seems like Weasel had more of a problem then them. Also why didn't she bring up what drove her to the deadbeat boyfriend. She didn't once mention to Weasel that seeing him have sex with another woman pushed her away. I'd have brought that up. Sex with others when you're in love with another is so wrong imo. Is it really that hard to be celibate while you sort your feelings out. Nothing says I love you more then screwing someone else.

I've truly enjoyed the Soldiers of Wrath series so far, loving a good MC book. The Harder They Fall is Weasel & Renee's story and it was pretty great. Their relationship was explosive, dirty, forbidden, and passionate. Alpha bikers, alcohol, old ladies, club sluts, prospects & brawls, this book gave a little of a lot. I hope these two impressive authors keep this series going. Happy Reading!!!

It was good. I don't too much like MC books. However, when it's Crescent Snow on the table I will pretty much read anything they write and this book was no exception. I found it gave off a vibe of hope and second chances in a way and who could find something wrong with that. Good job!!!

Loved this book. Weasel has been fighting his feelings for Renee. Glad to see Weasel finally snap out of it and get his girl. Weasel and Renee were wonderful together. Renee and her brother were finally able to get past their fight. Great story.

Love this story Weasel is one of the main characters loved him. He is in love with Renee and even though his a hard cord biker he tried to be romantic all the way. A fast read!!!!
