I’m not sure why this has so many good reviews. It was like the outline of a book but not really fleshed out. There were so many things that were thrown in there with barely an explanation. Was there a reason this book wasn’t longer to fill in those holes?
The company is apparently broke but at the beginning Cassie is willing to pay tens of thousands to a male escort to be her boyfriend? She acts like a victim of violence with PTSD and panic attacks but it is just work stress? Frankly the whole “Evan is bipolar” therefore he has a violence at work problem and is a sexual harasser who needs to “take his meds” is nonsensical. Is there a med you can take for that? And those dang Japanese companies throwing their money around and making sure the daughter of business is married. But it is made clear that she is not the CEO. So this is just because she’s the heir apparent? But there is a Board of Directors so why would it matter? Liam was pretty consistent but Cassie was all over the place. All of a sudden she’s painting murals with mermen in them that look like Liam (what the f**k? Mermen? Is she 12?) Did we even know she had any art training? And the whole “Ice Queen” thing. Why? Because of her dad’s training? Even in high school? And she has zero sex life but apparently she has an entire lingerie set complete with garter belts just hanging around ready to whip out as needed. And then the whole thing wraps up with a bunch of stuff about her dad’s company and Evan which just seemed tacked on.
I actually like some of the supporting female characters more than Cassie. There was some banter but Liam did all the heavy lifting.

I finished this awhile back but forgot to update on goodreads.
LOVED THIS BOOK!! Heather Hildenbrand has just blown my mind. From start to finish I was hooked on every word, it was a struggle when I had to get back to reality and put this book down.
I recommend "One-clicking" this bad boy and getting yourself lost in it's pages. :D

What starts out as some kind of challenge, well, let's just say that things get real very fast. A war hero who hates to be called a hero, an ice princess who might even be an ice queen -or not- none of them seems to be the one people see when they look at them. And maybe those two are exactly what the other one needs.
When Cassie Franklin's world crumbles and things go from bad to worst, she finds out very quickly whom she can rely on. Or rather - whom she can't rely upon.
With Liam opening a whole new world for her when he shows her what loving someone really means and her realizing what is really important, even an ice queen like her might melt especially if someone as hot and, even more important, honest and loving as Liam comes along.
Liam is a very likable character. Having survived the war, not unharmed but at least alive, he realized that there is more to life than just finding the next girl for the night and is willing to explore a more serious relationship with the girl who was the only girl he ever wanted despite or because of the fact that she always seemed untouchable.
Reading about Cassie and her family, you know exactly where she comes from and what makes her act the way she does. Should I mention that her father and his attitude towards her made me furious?
I loved how Cassie and Liam of them started to trust and rely on each other and how they surprised everyone around them with the intensity of their feelings for each other
This book was a very nice read, I really enjoyed it and would love to learn more about Cassie, Liam and their friends in the future.

This book was completely different from other Heather Hildenbrand books that I have read. It was also an amazing book.
Liam... a sexy "war hero" as everyone likes to call him who had a tragic experience, but came out on top. Not only from surviving, but also from winning the woman he has always wanted since high school.
Cassie... She has always known what it is like to have money, but with that money comes the ice face or as some like to call her, the ice princess. She has been raised to do everything her parents ask and she always complied. Even when that meant going to college and working full time for her father. She doesn't have much time for fun. Well that is until she starts to spend time with Liam. He completely changes her views on so much. Plus he is the cure to the ice princess.
I read straight through the book without putting it down. This was a great read that kept me intrigued throughout. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next between Liam and Cassie.

I've read a lot of Heather's books and this is unlike anything else I have read by her. O Face is sexy, steamy, and sweet all wrapped into one. It's the perfect book for newlyweds, such as myself. This book hooked me from the very beginning and I couldn't put it down. I finished reading it in less than 24 hours. I loved Cassie and Liam together! I was really proud of Cassie's journey and the progress she made over the duration of this book. I would love for Heather to turn this into a series and do books on the secondary characters like Sophie, Jess, and Jamie. If you're a fan of sexy books, O Face is definitely the book for you!

Get Your O Faces Ready!
Heather Hildenbrand creates characters that are relatable and endearing.
My favorite kind of female character always comes with a bit of snark and at first I didn't see that in Cassie but she is the classic caterpillar into butterfly story.
At first Liam is pigeonholed into being your typical former player. He isn't at all what he seems and it is quickly apparent that he has been changed by all that he has seen and experienced. It doesn't take long for his feelings for Cassie to become apparent.
Taking these two opposites they don't only attract the form a bond that will have you thinking of these characters long after you have read the book!

What an amazing story of love, hate, fear and betrayal. I can so see myself in parts of this story. The characters are so loveable, fun, irritating and just down right real. The storyline is phenomenonal, the sex is tastefully done and hot. My mom is 75 and she would enjoy reading this.😄 Just when I think Heather is super amazing in her writing, she out does herself. Liam and Cassie rock. I loved it and would give it 100 stars if I could.

Wow! This book just wrapped me up immediately, I couldn't put it down! I loved reading about Cassie and seeing how she learned how to be herself through the book. And Liam, his struggles to get past what happened to him and dealing with the publicity, I commend you on how you were able to portray both of these characters - and making me worry and freak out and love them! And then...put their chemistry together - WOW! HOT! The Tension - the tension between them was so intense and had me staying up late reading!

This is a grab you from the start showing the struggle the returning vet has with public and every day life. You get a glimpse into a rich girls life with all the issues. While they find their way will it end in love or more danger? This is a book you will want to read as it grabs you and keeps you entertained til the very end.

What a brilliant story!
I have also had experience with some of the things in this story and could really put myself into the storyline and relive what happened to me.
I came very close to breaking down and having a bawl like a Big Jessie.
I would really recommend this story to all, unless you don't like it hot.

A sexy, hot and sweet story.
Liam is a war hero who's hearing was saved by a experimental implant.
Cassie's family owns Franklin Industries where the implant was made and also works there.
They were attracted to one another in school and are again but can they work it out?
I would highly recommend this book.

Beautifully Written Love Story
I have read many types of love stories and I have to admit this was one of my favorites. Its almost like you take the spoiled little rich girl and the poor country boy and put them together. There are things that they grew up knowing about each other and apparently they didn't believe that people can change.

OMG!! I freaking loved Cassie and Liam's story! It was absolutely perfect!! Heather Hildenbrand is amazing! I loved every minute of her book! I couldn't get enough! I can't wait to read more! Who would've thought the war hero could melt the ice princess' heart! Absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to read more!

Amazing
I'm used to reading Heather's paranormal books, so when I won thickly I was excited. This book is steamy and lovable and just down right good. It is realistic enough that you can put yourself in place of any of the characters and see it happening in real life.

I’m still new to this whole erotica genre thing, so I’m here exploring with some free ebooks a friend told me about.
Liam and Cassie are very easy to root for and I love their chemistry. I realize that there are plenty of books way more graphic than this one, but for a beginner to the genre, this was pretty hot... I like it 😏

An easy read, steamy, romance with HEA
I enjoyed this contemporary romance from Heather Hildenbrand, it was well written, with enough steam and two main characters you couldn't help but like together. This was such an easy, light hearted read but well written book that I will read again when I need some escapism.

I finished this last night. It was so sweet. I liked the title of the book cause it grabs you, but it's so much more too. It almost sneaks up on you. In the sense, that maybe you start thinking okay - this is going to be a smutty dream but it ends up being this deeply sweet and genuine story. Kind of sneaky in a nice way - LOL!

I was so caught up in the sexiness that is Liam, I could not put this down. This sweet & sexy story is very well-written, and I loved everything about it!
This story made me smile, it pulled at my heartstrings, and had my pulse racing during the steamy scenes. This was my first book from this author. I can’t wait to read more from her!

Just what I needed!
I was looking for a standalone and this author delivered one that gave me all the feels! I thoroughly enjoyed Cassie and Liam. Their growth and story was relatable and fun to read. I read this story in almost one sitting! Couldn’t put it down!

Great storyline.
Great storyline which kept the romance interesting. Good heat between Liam and Cassie, enjoyed their power struggle and it was good to see Cassie overcome her fears. Thoroughly enjoyed and will look for more books from the same author.
