Kynan has tried every trick he knows to hack into Project Zed’s system, without much luck. When the team learns of unforeseen security measures, they move into action to stop the barriers to Kynan’s hack.

Only those defenses are flesh and blood, skin and bone. Two young hackers abducted from their families and controlled by Zed—forced to hide the horrors within for nearly two decades. Once freed, they could be a valuable asset to the counter-Zed fighters, if they can recover from what was done to them.

A new elemental shows up at the same time, this one with the power to move the earth itself. Sky’s an adventurer, and his journey has led him to Bear Mountain. But he soon learns he might have even more tying his fate to the valley.

Can Kynan and Sky come together to help one of the broken wolves heal or is he too far gone?

WOW, Intensely Emotional Adventures.
NOT a Stand Alone Book. Recommend to read at least first two Project Zed book, if not the whole Bear Mountain series. Couldn't get enough of this book. Although, Sky, Kynan have to help their mate to look to a future, there's so much more to this book. I totally loved the intense, emotionally packed adventure of this continued series. Can't wait to see what comes next.

This book will definitely be in my re-read collection. Sky, Kye and Lachlan found true love in coming together. My heart broke for some of the other couples in their struggles. I'm excited to see who the next book is about. Awesome job!

LOVED this book! Lots of emotion, action and suspense, and romance! You definitely need to be reading this series in order, because there is a lot of overlap, stories that continue through each book, and so many characters that I don't think you could start with this one and understand what's going on.

I feel like things are building up to the big finale in this series - we now have the earth element at Bear Mountain, and I don't want to give anything away, but

There are multiple relationships going on in this one - I loved the update for Cyprian and Cutler and how they're doing, and I loved that Dario and also Kye got their stories. And I still hope that Samuel and Cal find their third (I think it might be the new shifter that Declan and the dragon shifters brought back with them?)

HIGHLY recommend this series! This whole series is some of Kelex's best writing to date, I truly believe that. It's different, more in depth and emotional. If you loved the Bear Mountain series, you can't NOT be reading this one!

Decent follow up for the Project Zed series. There are a lot of couples in this book and it was hard to catch back up with the amount of simultaneous plotlines after taking a break from the series.
Featuring a pair of main character's who may have possibly lost the use of their legs was a solid step for disabled visibility, but its impact more or less swept away at the end of the book when the wolf shifter's ability to walk in slowly returns. Their struggle with being able to shift and use their legs to shifting back and not being able to was a mental minefield, but it was temporary. However, their impairment at the hands of Project Zed allowed the intimate scenes to take an interesting turn by featuring physiological anomalies not seen before in the Bear Mountain universe. Normal rules for wolf shifters also takes a strange turn when the wolf takes another shifter and an Elemental as mates. This isn't explained away with "bear mountain magic" or an Elemental curiosity. A future installment may answer this question. There are a handful of intimate scenes, but the main opus near the end unravels a lot of mysteries surrounding the trio's new relationship.
Devil is a novel entry to the Project Zed series, and makes strides to answer technical questions about the mechanisms inside Project Zed. The primary and tertiary relationships elaborated on in the book are fun to watch grow even if the couples' paths end up being strikingly similar.

I would recommend reading the other two books and preferably the bear mountain series, it is really good.

The third book in the series has a faster pace as the story builds up. The chase to find and end Project Zed is on but now we see the struggles and conflict that comes with such a huge responsibility. New faces are introduced here and everyone has a part to play.

This trilogy was just not for me. I couldn't handle the pov shifts. If it was longer and more detailed then maybe I would have liked it. It was all rushed and put together in such a short novel that it left me razzled.

Just what I needed.

Kelex satisfies. Once again I was introduced to characters I wish were real, living in a town I wish I could visit, and experiencing love like we all want to have. Then of course she left us anxiously awaiting the next book. Loved it.

I am so in love with Kelex's stories and this one is so far my favorite. If you haven't started to read this series you need to. It would also be good to read the whole Bear Mountain series too. It great to have the old characters and the new characters together. I can't wait for the next one.
