I loved this series of time / life books on computers. At the time I was working as a computer programmer in Boston, since then I have moved some 3,000 miles away in geography (Los Angeles) and in my profession (from standup comic, to college professor, to writer / speaker / entrepreneur) but to this day appreciate my basic introduction into the computer, a key device in this modern world that few go without and even fewer are not affected by. A great read, and essential for you moderns, and great pictures, graphics, and other visuals.
