Excellent book that reminds small children to respect each other. Just because pizza is your favorite food you don't get to cut to the front of the line at lunchtime. Honestly I can think of lots of adults that sould read this book as a refresher - seems we have lost ground as far as daily civility.

This is a short picture book story about a boy named Ben who is still learning how to be respectful at school: waiting his turn and not interrupting. It’s also about a boy name Pete who learns it’s respectful to include everyone. Large and bright illustrations.

This is a fantastic book for a Kindergarten or first grade teacher to read to a class. Its simple to understand, easy to share with a group, and would be easy to refer back to when students need reminding of how to be respectful.

An incredible book with vibrant illustrations and simple language. The story explores kindness, respect, and being sensitive to the feelings of others. It features children of different races and cultures - the main character wears a hijab, giving much-needed visibility to the beautiful diversity our world has to offer.

The three-year-olds in my preschool class love it, and so do I!

It is hard to define the word respect, because it is so subjective. The author gives lots of definitions, which I appreciated. At first i was confused at who was narrating the story, and I felt the ending worked out a little too perfect.
