This is a cute book about Pinkie Pie doing her best in a baking competition. I bought it largely because of the art style, but the story itself is fun, of Gummy doing his best to help Pinkie while Pinkie subsequently does her best without her cookbook on hand.
The beginning bit seems a little odd, with Rarity refusing to tell Pinkie who her competitors are but then it being stated for no reason two pages later. Not sure why the competitors weren't announced once at the competition. Just a minor thing, but it felt a little abrupt.
I enjoyed everything else about the book, and the ending was sweet.

Absolutely adorable. A sweet story with a touch of humor.
Pinkie Pie is invited to compete in the Best Baker's Big Baking Bonanza competition. But when she forgets her trusty cookbook, she isn't sure she has what it takes to win. She'll have to come up with some creative solutions to compete with the other talented contestants.
Such a fun story. I love that this is basically Ponyville's version of Chopped. I would totally watch an Equestria Chopped competition series.
Sweet illustrations that deliver on the humor. It was so fun to see all of Pinkie's creations.
Nice themes of creative thinking and problem solving.
