Terrible!!!
I thought the blurb was interesting so I took a chance. This book was terrible. The writing was 3rd grade level with some dirty words thrown in. I don't mind dirty language, in fact I love it, but this was just cringe-worthy!
For example:
“What is wrong, B?”
“I am sure you hear this all the time, not that I ever want to think about that, but your c**k is huge!” She gasps out.
“It will fit B, I promise.”
“I know it will Derek. Science.” She giggles.
Yeah, I giggled too, because that section there was probably the best prose in the entire book. There was no depths to the characters. She married her best friend to cover for him, but they didn't really seem like friends. I couldn't connect with any of the characters.
Save your time and money and stay away from this one.

This is a debut book from M.K. Moore and she knocked it outta the park in my opinion. Don't assume the worst when you read the title of this book because sometimes things are not what they seem. I don't wanna say too much more and give anything away. Brooke was an amazing woman, maybe a little bit too nice but after everything the Spencer's did for her I can see her loyalty. Blake was selfish and definitely should've spoken up sooner but I can understand he was scared. Derek was AMAZEBALLS and so totally swoon worthy. If you like Alexa Riley, C.M. Steele, Fiona Davenport, and Penny Wylder then you'll definitely like this book ! I'm looking forward to reading new books from this author.

Naughty and Sweet!💞
Derek and Sweet B were just hilarious and sweet. I loved Derek's passion for "his B". Nothing gets me going like an obsessive man who wants his lady.
I enjoyed the romantic and steamy words by MK. This read had some humor which is always a plus, but turned a bit serious in the end. Such a great way to shake things up in a book.
I'm looking forward to reading more from MK. I'm sure this "To Love" series is not quite over yet!!!

This is a quick read with an interesting twist. Brooke and Derek love each other but don't know it.There is a lot that goes on in this story in a short amount of time. I enjoyed this story very much. This is my first MK Moore book and I will say it is not going to be my last. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

I’m going to assume that all the people who gave this book 4 & 5 star reviews are either:
1. Friends with the author
2. Related to the author OR
3. Recent victims of a lobotomy
Seriously, you would have to be missing a part of your brain—the part that has and preferences or partiality regarding well-written stories—if you were able to come up with ANYTHING good to say about this book.
I somehow managed to force myself to read 40% but when the true nature of Brooke and Blake’s marriage was revealed and NOBODY was surprised (I mean the whole premise of the book is that she married him to hide his sexuality from his family) or the least bit upset, I was done. What the heck was the need to hide from his family if they all pretty much KNEW he was gay already and didn’t judge him for it?
Stupid book. SKIP THIS ONE!!!

Brooke has been in love with her brother in law for a long time and wants nothing more than to lose her V-card to him but sadly she's married to Blake and although her and Blake are husband and wife it's in name only. Blake is hiding a secret one so big that his family might disown him. Brooke made the promise to keep his secret. Derek is a hot comic book writer and he's body makes Brooke drool. I found myself rooting for Brooke and Derek. It was a great read.

I have mixed emotions about this book. I liked Brooke and Derek and the story was different. While the story was a quick read and had some good and sexy parts, it felt too rushed to me. I would have enjoyed it more if It was slowed down a little bit. Overalll quick and unique read.

This was the first time reading a book by M.K. Moore, and I am definitely looking forward to reading a lot more. This was a book that had the reader wondering what was going to happen next with Brooke, Blake, and her brother in law Derek. From as long as Brooke could remember she has had an intense attraction to Derek, but unfortunately things happen in life that make what you want in life have to take a backseat to true desires. With Brooke hiding secrets from those around her and even herself will she ever be truly happy? Throughout this book the reader will learn the truth behind Brooke's life, and hope that she realizes her happiness. Thank you for allowing me to read this and write a honest review.

Brooke and Blake are married - but not really. Blake is in love with his PA - Jason, Brooke's in love with her Blake's brother, Derek, Derek's in love with Blake's wife (in name only) but Brooke and Blake don't know how the other one feels. Complicated? Not really when you get the hang of it!. Fun? Lots! This was a quick fun read that kept flowing along, kept me reading and wanting more.

Wow did this author blew me out of the water!!! Definally not what I thought this book was about but digging into from the first chapter I was hooked! I fell in love with the characters and the storyline. Brooke handled herself very well! Secrets are exposed and boy is there drama but I loved it!!!

I really, really liked the characters, Derek, Blake and Brooke are great. I liked the story, the writing and the words.
Brother-In-Law is a fast, sweet, sexy, kinky read.

-om - the h is married to the hero's brother, they've been best friends for a long time buy they were never in love, when he was going to take over his father's company he was advised that the board wanted him to "settle" but he was in the closet so he asked her to marry him (they've been "married" for 3 years, at least that's what she believes bc he never actually filed the marriage certificate)
-the H has been in love with the h since he met her when she was 15 but the h and his brother were inseparable, when they started "dating" shortly after their 10th grade year began the H knew that he had lost his chance
-when the H went to college he attempted to move on from her: "I dated some and got laid a lot, but it has always been Brooke."
-when the MCs get together she's 23 and he's 26
-ow - the H has a stalker, he met her 3 years ago and had a fling with her that lasted for a month (he hasn't been with anyone since her) this woman was crazy, she kidnapped the h, drugged her and stabbed her
-the MCs only got together bc the H's mom caught his brother fucking his bf, apparently not only the mom but the whole family knew that he was gay, the mom also knew that the H/h had feelings for each other

Quick, Intriguing, and Cute
This book had me very curious. The theme of brother-in-law's are not my usual, so I went in with a open mind. This is the story of Brooke and Derek, and their forbidden love.
The Great:
MK Moore is great at the fast paced insta-love story. While I love me a good insta-everything, this was a bit different. And I loved it! Brooke and Derek fight their love for each other because of secrets that are hidden in Brooke's marriage to Derek's brother.
I really enjoyed that there was a back story to them knowing each other for more than 2 minutes. It made the story all that more interesting and has me rooting for the unlikely duo.
The good:
If there is something l have noticed on books by MK Moore they all have a small twist in them. This book did too and I'm a sucker for a good twist. Also I love a book that I can finish fast when I am looking for a fast read! Oh and the heroine was a curvy girl... I love a good book with a curvy heroine because we are all not a size 2.
The bad:
I wanted more on the stalker. Maybe a bit more details making it a bit more scarier. But for the amount of pages it had good amount of drama.

This story is short, fast paced and a quick read. I read this story in one sitting but I wasn’t a massive fan of it. I didn’t hate this story but I didn’t love it either. I liked the Derek and Brooke parts but was frustrated with the rest. The writing style was easy to follow, the characters were ok and the storyline was ok. I might re read this book at some point in the future and see if my feelings change. I think I was a little disappointed because I love everything of MK Moore’s that I have read so far except this book. I just found it as an ok read.
I didn’t see any chemistry between Brooke and Derek. I could see their attraction towards one another and their shared feelings. I was happy they got their happy ending and were finally together, I just saw no spark there between them. I also wasn’t a fan of Blake. I understood why he hid his sexuality but I thought he was inconsiderate and selfish towards Brooke. He was ok to be happy with his boyfriend yet he wanted her alone in case he got outed/caught – that was the impression I got. I was also a little annoyed with Blake’s family for knowing and not trying to stop him going ahead with the wedding.

Wow, what a ride! I truly loved this quick, awesome read. MK Moore has delivered a great story with absolutely fantastic characters.
Brooke is in a “marriage” with Derek’s brother. However, after a chance door being opened, Derek can finally have everything he has been craving, Brooke. Brooke’s and Derek’s chemistry is sweet and passion filled. I loved the storyline and the HEA! I also enjoyed the little bit of danger thrown in for a nice twist in the story.

2nd Chance love/Marriage of convenience?
So this story has me on my toes from the first page. When I got halfway through I was like this is a really good story I am so sad it is over then bam the 2nd half you always wish you have from a story. This is an alpha man who is pining after what he cannot have and a women who feels the same and cannot act on it. There is also a super sassy mom and some steamy scenes worth every page turn. I loved their HEA and cannot wait to continue the series.

This is a new author, so I was unsure of what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised, and look forward to reading more of her work in the future. Brooke has always had intense feelings for her brother-in-law Derek, but she is married to Blake, albeit in name only. This is a quick read, which has secrets and humour, and the only downside in my opinion anyway, is that I felt this story was rushed; however, this is still an enjoyable and fun read!

I struggled with coming up with a review for this book because I most definitely do not want to discourage authors to explore their passion. I absolutely LOVED the plot of this story. What I felt, though, is that it lacked depth. The story felt rushed and the characters lacked any kind of individuality because of it.

Brooke seems to be locked in a marriage that hides a secret, a secret that she helps keep for her husband, but she also keeps a secret from her husband. Derek, he's been keeping a secret from his brother, one that would blow his brother's mind. Both Brooke and Derek have no idea the surprise revealing that will be forthcoming and how it will change the course of their lives. The comic thing about this story is a mother always knows. I really enjoyed this story and the HEA ending.

This was an easy read with a HEA ending. This was a little different than my norm, and I didn't really get emotionally invested in the story or the characters. It was just a simple read with some steamy scenes.

I love Derik's mother's reaction to the situation!!😂 There was a spot in the book where I feel could have had a little more substance, but overall it was a great read!! I would recommend this to friends.
